Change ROM language from CHT to WWE

Hi, i just got a htc touch diamond from taiwan. the rom details are below:

ROM Version: 1.37.753.5 CHT
ROM Date: 6/23/08
Radio Version: 1.00.25.03
Protocol Version: 52.26a.25.09H

I want to change the language to english. Please HELP! :mad:I don't understand chinese! Please understand that this is my first smartphone so i am a newbie in changing/updating rom, etc. :confused:Please use simple terms.

i had also this problem aber from DE to CHT.
i tried some version, these waren not succussful.

ok, 1st job you muss do, is SPL to solve.
2nd, if rom is not cate for your diamond, you muss self cook.

i tell you what i have done, 1st Hard SPL.
2nd, i have changed my rom, other words, rom self cooked.
because i got just a error, while i flashing was.

unknown device id... i just changed id and county id in rom,
and rebuild, flasch, and it works.

some roms is for diam1000, and my phone is diam3000 from
o2 xda diamond germany.
