@svenso
Great to here you are still improving your helpful tool. Perhaps you have noticed that there is a new tool for a second today screen: TouchFlo Detacher. There is a conflict betwen ssmapa and tfd, because you seem to change the manila.exe. Perhaps your new version will solve this anyway. Otherwise it would be good, if you could have a look at this issue.
Here is a link to the tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=480475
Here is the link to my discussion with avianwaves: http://tfdetacher.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=48132&ANCHOR#Post163669
Thanks again for your great tool!

I haven't read through the thread whether this was already mentioned. But my search-result for this was empty. If I missed it - forgive me ;)

Hi ! I am using Second Today on my Touch HD. Do you think that the deploy freeze comes from this ?
Thx !

Sorry - no idea. Secong today doesn't bring the whole real today screen back. That's why I tried TFD, which makes a real good job - besides the conflict with the ssmapa-tweaks ...

I also use TFD and I haven't seen any conflict.
BTW, the new SSMaPa uses a different method and is much better.

Perhaps conflict isn't the correct description. The matter was my all-contact-setting in the peoples tab, which was defined to iContact by SSMaPa. This was lost when I used TFD and back again (without redeploy) after deinstalling TFD.
But I think we can wait and look what the new version will do ...:cool:

@NLS
Do you mean that you have the newer version of SSMaPa (0.2.4.4) ???
NLS

I mean I am testing the next version (not SSMaPa any more).
Just wait for it to be debugged - it is much better.

It is not really functional yet... not working on my HD, but as says NLS, just wait a little bit, svenso is working on the new version :cool:
cheers

It's mostly working on my device. If Sven is active (Sven, hello? ...lost him since yesterday night) the new version can be ready for release soon, like in a week (where release means "almost same functionality as SSMaPa for starters").

No problem Sven.
When you have the time, you need to make the program wait for a configurable number of seconds (the startup) because sometimes TF3D is not open early.

Remember that SSMaPa renames your manila executable when it patches it. TFD is probably still trying to run the unpatched version of manila in your windows directory (manila.exe). The TFD settings allow you to change the manila executable name. I'm thinking you need to do that...

I hope Sven soon resumes because really the next version is way better.

Found how SSMaPa can work in non-official ROM's.
When start SSMaPa from Diamond - i think program try create foder SSMaPa in \Windows and extract two files - Manila_patch.exe and Manila_original.exe.
I don't know why, but in non-official ROM's SSMaPa can't do it.
So, simply need create folder SSMaPa in root of Windows, then copy to it Manila_patch.exe and Manila_original.exe, then stat SSMaPa.exe.
All work, try it.

I'm using Touch Flo Detacher and when using it, all my remapping isn't enabled. does anyone know what manila.exe is renamed as and where? I've looked in Windows but couldn't spot it. I've also tried SSMoHa but need help and Sven seems to be on vacation and this is bothering me. Thanks.

Hi, I am not a programmer and I really have no idea what this program actually does, I am only using it to change the application which is launched when clicking the big clock on the Manila Today screen.
However, I have difficulties when setting to be launched Lite Toggle.exe, which has 3 (three) levels of adjusting the backlight. What happens is that I click once on the clock, and the result is as if I would be clicking twice, every time. Thus, instead of going one level to the next of the backlight, it advances two steps at a time.
I also tried (as an example) to set there the volume.exe taken from iFonz, or even WkTask.exe, but when I click on the clock, nothing happens, it doesn't launch it.
Is it anybody who could provide an explanation for these two phenomena?
There is really no big deal, I only want to determine if there is something wrong with my phone.
thank you very much

Did anyone already already install SSMaPa on HTC Cruise 2009 Iolite? I am completly confused - The menu in Cruise is called TouchFlo 3D, but the program in \Windows is called manilla2D.exe... When I install SSMaPa and apply the patch, my HTC freezes and no TouchFlo menu appears. What is wrong? I tried both settings TouchFlo3D and Manilla 2D. Please help!

As mentioned in the first post, this project has been discontinued. There is also a link in the first post to a newer version, which is where you should ask your question.

I'm sure you read the first post and the title of the thread, which indicates this program has been discontinued. It has been that way for a long time, because it doesn't work with newer forms of manila. There is also a link in the first post to a newer version of this program that might work for you. However, I would visit that thread and do a little studying up before installing it -- i.e., make sure your manila is compatible with it, etc.
