my diamond has exactly the same rom/radio spec as carlosp_uk.

I received it yesterday and my first impression is that (speed-wise) it really SUCKS.

I was almost shocked when i first turned it on. my Kaiser (and even my Hermes) can easily outperform this horribly sluggish device.

I wanted to ask whether you're happy with the cooked rom you're using or whether you noticed any performance difference after flashing the custom rom.

its not the rom or the radio...i think it the fact they put to small a battery in the device :(

Make sure you flash rom before flashing spl. And when flashing spl use sspl first. And yes, Radio is included in the rom.

i've been waiting for about 10 hours now to receive the unlock code from the guy who people say can unlock everything :( i really didn't know that i should wait for ages to receive just a code.

Dont talk like that about the guy. He really can unlock the phones. Do not worry sooner or later you will receive your unlock code. It has been proven so many time about this guy unlocking all the htc devices via code. And yes he has done a great work for the diamond forum. all the stock roms in diffrent laguanges were needed and now we have it coz of him.

Time for my Diamond - 2nd hand one to go back to HTC to fix the yellow/orange spot issue. the CS Team are hard work but now collecting tomorrow. until then I've a Samsung c140 to contend with until returned. :eek::eek::eek:
