Activesync bug

does anyone else have this problem?

acticesync keeps appearing in my task manager/running programs even when i havent attached to computer???

any advice?

Kill it! It's been doing that on all WM devices I know.

Well, you can't kill it forever... After all you'll want to sync from time to time.

However, once you finished sync'ing, just kill the task from the task list (the little icon in the right upper corner of the screen).

but then it just appears randomly, even afer i kill it and even on days when i havent even used the computer??

I think you're right, ActiveSync is somehow alive :)

I, for one, chose simply to ignore it as a quirk of the operating system.

This has been a problem for years over several wm versions. If you don't use exchange server and want to get rid of it, you have to use something called the 'fake server trick'.
