After a long search with no positive results I have managed to cab up no2chem's Dual Touch Dialer OEM from the PPCGEEKS OEM pack. All the credit for this installation package goes to him I just managed to cab it up and get it to work. I've wanted this for a long time now because DCD's Kitchen errors if you use this OEM and I'm not willing to run any other ROM just for a dialer.
At the moment this cab will only install over the original WM6.1 dialer and smart dial. So if you are using DCD's Kitchen just don't select any dialers. Also, all keycode shortcuts aren't going to work due to this being a GSM dialer. I will soon be adding a cab to this post that will install shortcuts to those settings that will make them show up in your program files.
Once again all the credit goes to no2chem for an awesome OEM package.

Here are some skins to go along with this dialer as well as some other components. Thanks to itje at xda.

Have you actually attempted to install the cab and get it to work?
Just tested it (to help you fix your voicemail issue), and it wouldn't even install. Failed at the end and said it was unsuccessful. Tried 3 different times, with soft resets in between.

Isn't that the standard Dialer for DCD 3.0.0?
I removed my custom dialer via registry a while back, soft reset my phone and got that similar dialer.

Yes I tested it and am running it. I wouldn't of released it without doing so. Would you try disabling your phone via the comm manager then try to install. Just a random thought..... I know mine was disabled when I first done the install then after that it was enabled when I made some updates and installed it again.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=31922 here's a post where someone got it to install :( and actually says their vm speed dial works.... wish mine did

Not sure, I've never seen it on a DCD Rom but I can't say I've flashed every update he has released. I just finally stepped up from 3.0.4 to 3.2.2

Just out of curiosity I tried to install a version I have of this that I have used in the past and it wouldn't install either. Maybe have something to do with DCD 3.2.2?

I think carlos is getting confused with the touch dialer dcd includes in all his roms. This is the touch dual dialer. It's a little different.
I'm testing again with flight mode on. I'll report back.

I just opened the cab and only seen one issue that would make me question it. Here are new ones with the install directory set to %Windows% instead of Program Files. Weird thing is, I know the cab I used was set to windows and not programs. Maybe it changed it when I was editing the registry to get it to work and I didn't realise it.

Good luck dude, sorry about the issues

No problem...that was actually what I was going to test.
EnableVoicemailIcon reg key
I'll test one more time with new cab and let you know.

Works fine for me but you have to turn your radio off (not put it in flight mode) for it to install. I'm running DCD 3.22. I'll also like to mention that it worked with the original cab he posted.

Is this a CDMA dialer? I looked at the components that this dialer is made up from and it has a lot of things that probably shouldn't be there. It has way more then the HTC Dialer (GSM Touch Dialer).

It's a GSM dialer made to work on a CDMA device. The touch dialer is a little too bulky for my taste but that is one of those " to each their own" situations.

Hey guys I want to let you know that I got this CAB working.
I made some modifications to it and it installed. It took about 3 to 4 minutes to install but it works. No need to close out comm manager or anything.
Just to let you know.
This is not a CDMA Dialer
I tried dialing ##778 on my XV6800 and it just dialed the phone. This is PURE GSM with Video Calling options Dialer.
Here are some screen shots.

There is one problem I've noticed and that is the speed dial for VM isn't functioning properly. Once I get it fixed I will update the cab but for now if anyone wants to try it out and possibly find the speed dial problem I will make the corrections as soon as I have the time.
Once again all the credit goes to no2chem for an awesome OEM package.

I packaged this cab and everything works fine. Except for the CDMA functions and ID picture.
Smartdial and Speedial works well. The only thing that sucks is that you have to manually input the speedial, but that is why you have smartdial in the first place.

Would you mind posting the repackaged cab? I'd like to look at it to see what changes were made so I could learn from it.

bored, the only thing carlos did was change the processor id type. I didn't get a chance to examine the cab, if I had, I would have found it too.
Your processor type was set to StrongARM / XScale (ID=2577).
Carlos has it set to ALL / CEF (ID=0) which basically means any.
It also looks like Carlos compressed his, while yours was not compressed, though that wouldn't make a difference.
He is also correct by saying this is not a CDMA dialer. ## codes, smart dialing, and 911 are broken.
Other than that, nice work.

That is not the only things I changed. I changed the installation Directory, and supported Versions.
He had the dialer create a directory to \llboredllDualTouchDialer instead of installing directly to \Windows.
And before I wasn't able to install because his minimum OS and maximum version gave me issues. Something about my phone is not compatible and cannot install. So I changed it all to 0. It does work if you have it only on StrongARM / XScale I just changed it to all to avoid issues /warnings.

I think you're basing it off the first cab he posted. You are correct about the Min/Max OS, I quickly glanced at the settings and missed that. But on the second page, he posted new cabs with the install directory set to \Windows.

Nah don't feel stupid. It was a good effort. I'm looking at it more in depth and trying to add CDMA functionality to it.
Also, even after repackaging the cab, it still won't install on my device. I'm using the Vogue phone canvas cooked from 3.2.2 kitchen and I'm thinking that it doesn't like something in there.
Carlos, what dialer did you have installed prior to installing the Touch Dual dialer? Did you cook a dialer from the 3.2.2 kitchen or not select any dialer?

Did the cab that I posted work for you?
I'm using the Touch / Vouge Dialer from DCD's 3.0.0 ROM. Too many issues these days with other ROM's.
Yup way back in the days, but I made enough modifications to where it works great on my phone.

No I tried both my own repackaged cab, and your repackaged cab. Both still don't install. I'm thinking it has something to do with the new Vogue PhoneCanvas. Next time I flash I'll test it by not cooking any dialer into the rom.

Maybe it's because the files that your are trying to copy over have the SYSTEM Property attribute.
I have had that issue when making custom dialers. Some images have the SYSTEM Property attribute and they can't get overwritten with the CAB's I make.

Just for informative purposes, I was running the WM6.1 dialer when I installed the cab.
