Help! Freedom GPS 2000 Key Chain

Can someone help me with the settings to get my Titan (Alltel) to pair up with the Freedom GPS 2000 Keychain. Please give step by step (include tabs)and also what ports to use.
Also what programs can I use to test the satellite lock.
