Hi I upload IPL 3.10.0002 and SPL 3.07.cmonex to my Elf but after 15min working.The Efl shut-down and now I can't start it and go to bootloader mode.The battery was over 90%.
Can I do something to started?

I have the same problem with the 2.27 / 2.28 combo, but I also had it with the stock ROM (1.xx) when I bought this thing - that was the main reason I started playing around with upgrading the ROM. In the past, 24 hours rest has cured it, I have no idea how or why this can be so.

If anyone has an idea on whether this is software fixable, I'm certainly interested.

Instructions for ELF.

EDIT 30/07/08: As confirmed by eshield (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2465989&postcount=96), Elf owners can directly upgrade the IPL/USPL.

EDIT 06/09/08: Directly upgrading IPL/USPL in one go may or may not work for all of Elf owners (if the Elf is pre-release or old one). If your phone (Elf only) is stuck at Smart mobility screen with IPL 2.26, SPL 2.26, try downgrading the IPL to 1.19 or 1.17.

For users that already have IPL 2.2X series



First make sure your device is application Unlocked. By installing EnableRapi.Cab (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=92913&d=1213560044) & Cert_SPC.Cab (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=92914&d=1213560044) on your device, then reboot the phone.
Take out MicroSD card from Slot.
Connect Device through Active Sync.
Run the elf-uspl.exe from the Extracted Download (ELF_USPL_2.26.0000.zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=101826&stc=1&d=1217022319))
Watch Screen and Press Enter When Asked.
Screen should Jump to White on Phone and on PC Flashing Loading Bar will Show.
Stuck in Black Ducky Loading Screen?, check Active Sync Connection or Do a hard reset on Phone first. But be sure to do the last Actual Flashing in White Screen. Sometimes this needs a few tries to go through white screen.
Done.

For users that have IPL 1.1X series


Steps below are all recommended to remove Micro SD card.
First Make sure you allready have a Patched Pre 2.26 SPL (ELF_USPL_1.17.0000.zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=99975&d=1216310922))
You can install this Patched Wit the Same Instructions as above for the 2.26 SPL.
Then When you have a Patched 1.1X SPL install the 2.26 IPL (ELF_IPL_2.26.0000.zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=101829&stc=1&d=1217023142))
After you have rebooted you can confirm your SPL & IPL versions by pressing Reset Button With Stylus and Pressing and Holding the Camera Button to get into TriColour Bootloader.
Reset Phone Back into the OS And follow instrcutions above for Flashing Patched 2.26 SPL.
At this point you do not to install CertSPC.cab & EnableRapi.Cab
Done


Unless you are familiar with these processes do not try them, and wait for more confirms.
Flashing is done at own Risk and might Void your Warantee.

Note:
You can also update the IPL&USPL to 2.26 together in one go if you are already using the USPL 1.17.0000 or USPL 1.19.0000. This has been tested by ChiemY(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2454555&postcount=44). So,if you are willing to upgrade together, download the ELF_IPL-USPL_2.26.0000.zip file and run the romupdateutility.exe.

0. make sure your device is synced to activesync!!

Hard reset your device first because when I didn't do hard reset no matter how many times I've tried it just won't work so hard reset it first to save time. After hard reset, mine took 2 tries before it went to white screen and after that it went all the way. Then you can flash a shipped or cooked rom after that.

I want to update my rom from Blue Elves. I have been told that that ROM just bypasses CID unlocking etc, and that I will have to start from scratch.

I have been pointed to this site and told I need the 3.07 latest. I notice however that there seems to be 3.10 as well, and I am starting to get confused.

Is it possible to point me in the direction of a "directions for dummies" explenation of what I need to download, and do? I want to change ROM to Touch Essential, as it seems it might be more slimmed down:_ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=415880

I have checked my device info and it is shown in my sig. I'm a bit worried about downloading wrong file, or doing things in wrong order, or in fact not having the right programs full stop.

I had same issue. I installed RUU_Elf_HTC_WWE_1.11.405.1B_4.1.13.42_02.93.90_Shi p.exe after İ upgraded to 3.10.cmon but I couldn'T install any wm6.1 rom. I reinstalled RUU_Elf_HTC_WWE_1.11.405.1B_4.1.13.42_02.93.90_Shi p.exe again. This time ıI upgraded my ipl/spl to 2.28.00 but still same problem..

going to matters, I just got the spanish vodafone operator HTC Touch Elfin and wanted to instal Onyx 4.2 ROM (thanku dsixda!!!) .

I've CID unlock and upgrated up to IPL 2.27.0002 and SPL 2.28.0000. following the procedure on 1st page but Onyx 4.2 is recommended on HardSPL 3.10 and IPL 3.10, so I still have some questions:

1) Is it possible to flash if my vodafone ROM OS is based on WM6?
2) My CID is unlock, can I upload directly from bootloader both HardSPL and IPL? or should i go through white screen again (1st page procedure)?

Sorry for these 2 questions but I haven't found any answer in previous pages (you always talk about white screen method even if some people have used bootloader...)

Hold the camera button while pressing the resetbutton with your stylus. Keep holding the camera button til you enter the bootloader (three colours). It should display your IPL and SPL. Just reset your device again after viewing these values.

Flashing dump the original firmware 2.2* ROM, make a few restart without sim and microSD card, that would run Windows mobile.
Then You need to change hspl aka SPL 3.07.cmon to normal uspl 2.28 v 2 or hspl 2.28!
To do this you need to complete full procedure uspl, starting the program elf-uspl.exe (with the "penguins and white screen")

In spl / uspl / hspl 3.07-3.10 there is a bug that prevents windows mobile start launching (some of Elf/3450).
Your hspl 3.07 does not change the spl. Instead it shall need to change to uspl not above uspl v 2.28.
CID can get to the bootloader via mtty and usb sniffer.
CID until you unnecessary. Your need only tested any custom ROM M 6.1.
Perhaps you have that right now.

Yes, CID can be found. But, Now you do not need this. Original full ROM you not help.

the problem in your case is that the device is stuck at smart mobility because of HSPL 3.07 which your Elf doesn't support. u can try flashing any ROM, cooked or original, it won't help. u need to contact cmonex in order to downgrade your HSPL to some lower version like 2.28 or below.

Thank you for your effort, DziM, but after htctouchp's warning of completely bricking my Elf I think I will wait for a method to downgrade the SPL before attempting any more flashing or otherwise experimenting with different solutions. Furthermore I am not confident in cooking any roms, which means I would probably f*** up trying to do so.

After downgrade my elf 1.14 CID Orange UK on elf 1.11.707.1B and unlocked this CID, I'm upgrade IPL & SPL on 3.07.0000 and Radio on v.03.21.90 all without any problem. Next I'm used "TOOLS" for backup this systems. Now I've backup_ExtROM.nb, backup_GSM.nb, backup_IPL.nb, backup_MainSplash.nb, backup_SPL.nb. Next in the utility 'htcrt' changed Device: Elf/Touch; Model ID: from ELF0***** to ELF010000 Country ID: from 11111111 to HTC__001 Version: 1.00.000.0 to 1.11.707.upg. Firmware contens from backup this fiveth and BUILD! After lull flashing this elf restart and DEAD

If it doesn't allow you to do it from bootloader then use the "white screen" method to flash it, i.e. Use same method used for flashing the original USPL but replace the USPL's NBH with the IPL's NBH.

In my eyes it's not positiv the display and background-leds are always activated (at the minimum the time elf/elfin is charging).

I expect that you did soft reset after installed the 2 cabs... cert & enable cabs .. you must switch off the device to instead the soft reset.....

Flash it again ... I believe it must works.

so do i always have to reinsall cert and enable cabs each time i want to upgrade hspl? i tried the white screen method the first time and only the ipl got installed. then i tried your method of renabling the cabs and then it finally worked. but that's kind of a pain isn't it (reinstalling the cabs so the penguin would show up)?

those cabs are only required if you are using a shipped ROM, otherwise there is no need to use them.

ELF000001 should also work as model ID, i don't know why doesn't it work for u. try with ELF0***** as model ID

I had upgraded to the latest 3.14, IPL & Hard SPL, two days back.
I have noticed excess battery drain and downgraded back to 3.10 (IPL & Hard SPL) just now.
Any one else noticed battery drain?
I will wait for more feedback before re-upgrading to 3.14

I also have experienced the excess battery drain. Now I am flashing the IPL and the USPL separately to verify which one is causing the problem.

If I find the problem I will notify it.

and I tried to install IPL_USPL_3.14 with RUU: i copied file IPL_USPL_314.nbh in the same dir of ROMUpdateUtility.exe and I ran it.

After flashing I ran device info and this is the result:

CID : HTC__405

IPL: 2.27.0002
SPL: 2.28.0000

If I remember correctly.

1. Install EnableRapi.cab, and then Cert_SPCS.cab onto your phone.
2. Download http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=101826&d=1217023119 and replace the RUU_Signed.nbh in the RUU folder with your 3.14 .nbh file.
3. Run elf-uspl.exe, follow steps.
4. Ensure that you have a WHITE screen before doing the final step.
5. ???
6. Profit

I did not run Touch_Unlock.exe because of viruses.

Sorry for the confuse.. i mean is something like when i was backup my phone original SPL.. the file corrupt.

There is some question i want to ask.. since my current version is 2.20. To flash to 3.14 UPSL or 3.14 HPSL i will required to flash to vers 2.26 USPL first then i only able to flash to 3.14?

When flashing to UPSL 2.26, i just simply flash UPSL 1st then only IPL? or i can flash UPSL and IPL at same time?

1. you need to do the full procedure unlock spl (uspl). RTFM. Any file (2.20, 2.26, 2.28). Just copy the file ipluspl 3.14 to a folder RUU, which file to elf-uspl.exe (This RUU folder is procedure unlock spl)
2. flashing ipl integrated in uspl 3.14 file. (because separately ipl 3.14 from a computer does not update. Only from microSD) and no to what matters!
3. And if i had succesfully flashed 3.14 UPSL, and i reflash 3.14 UPSL it will not does any harm to my device?

The IPL/SPL3.14 is having serious battery drainage. Even I like the battery charging animation very much but I still flashed back to 3.10 tonight.

You should only use uspl 2.28 (not below!).

The phone isn't bricked it is fully working. What I am trying to do is upgrade it to windows 6.1. and be able to modify the look of it.

Not sure how to find the CID or model ID. I went through the links in the last post but wasn't totally sure what i was looking for.

Do Hard Reset.
2.
Install Certificate cab
3.
Instal Enable_Rapi cab
4.
Go to bootloader and connect usb.
5.
Disconnect USB
6.
Reboot device
7.
Connect usb (ActiveSync connection, "green" try icon).
8. Download and extract this: eg USPL_2.28.0000.zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=101986&d =1217069434)
9. Download and extract this: ipl_uspl_2 .28v2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=102375&d=1217240856)
10.
Copy and overwrite the file RUU_Signed.nbh from ipl_uspl_2.28v2 archive of step 9 to a folder USPL_2.28.0000\RUU of step 8.
11.
Start elf-uspl.exe from folder USPL_2.28.0000.
12.
Follow the instructions, reaffirming all.

Before i flash to UPSL.. i have the exact same version of SPL & IPL like your.. i try 2.26 and show file corrupted. So what i do is.. i flashed to 2.20pof > 2.26 > 3.10.

But as i read.. it looks like can start with 2.28. Did u try 2.28? eg. 2.20 > USPL 2.28. But i cant confirm u with this.

You can easily upgrade to ipl_uspl 1.19 for u old OS (build 18***.*.*.*).
You can easily upgrade to ipl_uspl 2.28v2 for any WM6.1 OS.
You can use ipl 1.** and uspl 2.** with some build 199**.*.*.* WM6.1 OS.
You can with the risk upgrade ipl_uspl 3.** for any new OS aku (build 207**.*.*.* and 21***.*.*.*), possible problem with the launch of OS.
For you Is not required ipl_uspl 3.** For versions of OS 6.1 is acceptable 2.28.

Than i install ipl/uspl 2.26
Than i install elfin_hspl 3.10
Now my uspl 3.10cmon , ipl 2.26.0002
So i need ipl/usp 3.10 together.

If DizM let me i want to tell what i did;

1-)I installed my Uspl to 3.10 with Hspl310

2-) I installed my Ipl to 3.10 with Hspl310 RUU too but first delete RUU.Signed.Nbh in RUU folder.than copy ELF0IMG.NBH into RUU folder.
Connect with Activesync and run RomUpdateUtility.exe in RUU folder

thats why i cant past more than 75% on MS-DOS prompt and on the device the penguin cant go trough... just reset my device... and upgrade a rom again.

7.- run the elf ms-dos exe wait till its done (this will upgrade just the IPL to 3.10 then.... wait and boot up the device...
8.- run the hspl 3.10? (i have 3.07.cmon hspl)

My question is can I do all of this process in WM6.5??? im using 21501 onyx ultimate.

May i know can i choose the lastest USPL to flash onto my device 1st then do a hard SPL ?

I had tried the USPL 3.10, however after flashed the 100% The Error 270 ( the image file is corrupted, please check your update untility )appear on the screen ?

1-)For install 3.10 just run romupdateutility.exe in Hspl310 RUU folder ( not elf.uspl.exe and with orjinal RUU.Signed.nbh )

Download the 2.28 entire uspl zip.
Then download the 3.10 IPL zip...
download the certspcs and enable rapi... cabs
perform it on 6.5 or 6.1 but in XP works better....

install both cabs... then unplug your cards (sim and microSD)
put the device in Bootloader.... connect it to your pc... let it recognize the device
then unplug it... reset your device... wait till it boots completely... plug it via usb again let it sync on guest... green icon is now displayed on pc, then....

Unzip the 3.10 ipl it will show you a RUU signaed.nbh file... rename it as... ELF0IMG.nbh...

Unzip the 2.28 zip file to a folder... it will create three things... 2 folders one of those folders is RUU, inside that folder is a RUU_signed.nbh file delete it... and copy there the elf0img.nbh file you have rename before.

inside the same folder RUU is a file called ROMUPDATE UTILITY exe... or something like that... run it... and thats all!!!

I dont think the jump from 1.11 to 3.10 will become as a trouble... cause SPL is hard-overwrited... on the process the black MS-DOS window appear the first percentaje will not make nothing but second will shows the soft process linux penguin and withe screen then the ruu will shows update update and TAAAADAAA!!! thats all yes i was thinkin of the numbers I saw it shows un RUU the 3.07 but it doesnt matter... the IPL will be 3.10.

if you are not sure about the jump from 1.11 to 3.10 so upgrade first to 2.28 ipl... bye bye.

I have managed to upgrade my ipl to 3.10 and hspl to 3.07cmon. I manage to run both ELFIN_HSPL_3.10 and ELFIN_USPL_3.10 using the romupdate or elf-uspl successfully but still the SPL display is 3.07cmon.

Managed to upgrade HSPL from 3.07cmon to 3.10cmon this morning using the white screen method from the ELFIN_HSPL_3.10.zip.

Just continue step 3 from the white screen (elf_uspl.exe) with the usb cable plug to your phone although the activesync is not connected.

Now to download my fav cooked ROMS...

Guys, my ELF is CID unlocked with USPL 2.28 and IPL 2.27, and I had success in several times to flash my ROM. But when I tried to restore my original dumped ROM, everything happened well, goes to 100% and after my ELF is DEAD. I cannot enter in boot loader mode, there's a way to force it? Regards.

i accidently flashed the ELF IPL 1.17.0002 & USPL 1.17.0000 (from the currently first post) on my elfin.
(don't ask me why, maybe because the thread is called USPLs & IPLs for Elf & Elfin)

now i get stuck at a black screen on every boot after the provider (t-mobile) screen.

tried to flash a shipped rom and a uspl for elfin but did not help.

maybe you got any ideas, thx!


edit: solved it by flashing ipl again (was still the old version in the bios screen)

If you see blank screen with penguin, jumpspl has failed.
You need to see blank/penguin quick and after have a white screen.
use ELF_USPL_2.26.0000.zip from post 3 and make hard reset should help.
jumpspl not work all the time, need to try again.

If you are stuck at the "penguin" with a couple of words / command line appearing, where it does NOT turn into "WHITE = full backlight". Touch the screen, it probably went into something like a sleep_mode, hence you need to trigger it to wake up, and then it will continue. Worked for me.

as mentioned by cmonex, u need to use SSPL to flash another SPL i.e. elf-uspl.exe, the white screen method, which u were using before to flash the USPLs.

3.If everything went ok, you'll find your dumped IPL.nb in that folder soon:)

Please can somebody help me with something... I have a HTC ELF (ELF0100 model) currently running the official ROM version 2.20.421.1B WWE with Radio version 03.07.90 (taken from Settings > System > Device Information).

Just to be clear, I'm using these instructions here:

For users that already have IPL 2.2X series


First make sure your device is application Unlocked. By installing EnableRapi.Cab (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=92913&d=1213560044) & Cert_SPC.Cab (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=92914&d=1213560044) on your device, then reboot the phone.
Take out MicroSD card from Slot.
Connect Device through Active Sync.
Run the elf-uspl.exe from the Extracted Download (ELF_USPL_2.26.0000.zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=101826&stc=1&d=1217022319))
Watch Screen and Press Enter When Asked.
Screen should Jump to White on Phone and on PC Flashing Loading Bar will Show.
Stuck in Black Ducky Loading Screen?, check Active Sync Connection or Do a hard reset on Phone first. But be sure to do the last Actual Flashing in White Screen. Sometimes this needs a few tries to go through white screen.
Done.


I have downloaded and installed both 'EnableRapi.cab' and 'Cert_SPC.cab' to my device (not memory card) without any problems, and it connects fine to ActiveSync, but when I try step 4 to update from my current IPL 2.20.0002 / SPL 2.20.0000 to the 2.26 range, I keep getting error code 270 about the corrupt ROM...

Am I missing something? Or could it be that the CID unlock process didn't work properly..? From what I saw on the RUU Error Codes Wiki, error 270 means that my device is still locked.. Any ideas? I'd really like to get the Radio version 03.34.90 installed; I've read many good things about it....

I have managed to get around the issue I mentioned here.. Just in case anybody else is having the same issue as me, here are the steps I followed:

I downloaded the ELF_USPL-V1.ZIP file and installed that (link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1402844&postcount=1)), which didn't change my IPL (still on 2.20.002), but SPL was downgraded to the version 1.11 range.
From there, (I think because it unlocked my device properly) I had no problems upgrading to both IPL and SPL 2.26, and henceforth upgraded my Radio version to 03.34.90.

Found this at the end of the second page:

NOTE: This evaluation alone DOES NOT conclude you must use the latest SPL and IPL. But it gives you a CHOICE, to choose from different IPL and USPL, you can use to customize your device. Pagepool was not taken as a factor, and conducting Boot Time on a pagepooled ROM may also vary the results comparatively.
In all honesty, I'm not even sure if that will upgrade your IPL as well.. But still, Looking at the speed tests done in the post I quoted here, 2.28 seems to be one of the fastest... Works perfectly for me. :)

I hold my breath everytime I upgrade to a different ROM, always hoping for the best. I guess I am safe adventurer. I sometimes want to follow the adage that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. LOL.
Nobody is forcing you to upgrade, but the fact that you're here reading and asking questions makes me think you want to try it... :D In all honesty, I installed the HardSPL update in order to protect my device from bad ROMs (prevents a ROM from writing it's own IPL and/or SPL and causing my device to fail when starting the bootloader).

The IPL is the Initial Program Loader, this (as I understand it) is responsible for loading the actual operating system. The SPL is the Secondary Program Loader, and as far as I know this handles the loading and running of applications once your device is up and running. I may be slightly mistaken there, but that's the general idea.

After much research and reading, I decided that IPL/SPL 2.28 was the best for me; fastest boot time for the device (very definitely true), and if I'm not mistaken, it seems to have slightly better battery life than the others. At the end of the day, it is your choice.. :D

Those who are interested in dumping their SPL from the phone, please follow the steps below:

1. Download the attached archive (thanks to kokotas).
2. Unzip it somewhere (preferably to the root of a drive).
3. Connect your phone to PC with USB cable.
4. Make sure that ActiveSync is working.
5. Run the DSPL.bat file and follow on-screen instructions.

After the SPL dump is finished, you will get a new file named SPL.nbx in the unzipped folder. But this will be a 512 KB dump file and CAN NOT be flashed to Elf/Elfin as such. Therefore, if someone wants to make a working SPL of the dump, please PM me the link of the dumped SPL.nbx file and i'll make a flashable SPL of the same.

EDIT: there is an easier method posted by dsixda to dump the SPL in this thread, i recommend to use that instead of this one.

IPL (Initial Program Loader)
SPL (Secondary Program Loader)
Essentially, the IPL is your bootloader; this handles the initial boot up of your device and I think it handles the hardware interaction as well (drivers).
The IPL actually initializes the SPL which handles the software side of your device; such as loading and running the OS with all applications.

I must warn you that I'm not 100% sure if I understand the exact functioning of these two, I do have the basic idea and many people seem to have different theories about it, but these points are pretty common between all of them.. Maybe somebody that knows the exact functioning and technical definitions should update the HTC Elf Wiki page on IPL/SPL (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Available%20IPLs%20%26%20SPLs)? Otherwise, send me the info and I'll update it, I don't mind..

I think you're missing my point here... You'd have much better luck asking for help in the appropriate thread. So, for help with CID unlocking, ask in the CID unlocking thread.

For the record, I don't use Vista. Tried it, didn't like it, decided to upgrade to XP Pro and I've never looked back.

i actually would prefer to use my Mac but buckled and downgraded to a PC, for this purpose specifically. perhaps you could help me with what to do now that i can't get my phone past that opening "HTC" screen, but i can get into bootloader by pressing the camera button, if not i'm sure you'll direct me to where.

I had installed wm6.5. and finished ok. after a while the phone started to reboot every 1 minute and shutdown. i had to go to power button to make it on. I had tried to install the original arabic firmware, after pressing update button, the updater told me that the firmware is not for my device, now when pressing too many times the power button its turned on for 3 seconds and see "smart mobility" then shotdown. I turned it in to boot loader, but windows can not see it. Pls tell me what to do.

It gives you protection when brikk occurs, so you can avoid to have GOLDCARD and re-flash from bootloader.

Sounds like you've ended up flashing a ROM that needs more memory than your Elf has, I did that myself once as well... Tried one that was origially intended for the Elfin (twice as much RAM) and it kept dying.

You need to download a lighter ROM (Onyx or Elf SX are both very good) and flash from the boot loader. Hold the camera button in and turn on the device, hold it in until you see the tri-colour boot loader, then connect the USB cable. You should see the letters 'USB' appear in the lower left corner, once you see those, then run the RUU and flash the new ROM.

So i took the CID Unlocker Stuff and used it. I guess there wa a wrong .nbh file in the Folders. After i rebootet the Device started to the white t-mobile screen and then shut off.

I did not used the Device_ID tool before i startet the Unlocker, so i have no more Information what Device i have. I just can get you the Informations which are written on the Device behind the Battery.

After i read some more i found the Flashing method over SD Card and got an "testing" Rom for that. This worked great, i mean now i have the Device "working" again. I have USB connect and the Screen tells me "smart mobility, Test Only, not for sale". The USB connect works with "photo button , reset".

So i can get the Device into tripple Color mode with USB Connect.

Now i want to go further and put some Operating System on it. I tried a lot of things with no success. RUU starts and after it says Error 270, Image file corrupted.

I can not say either if it is an ELF or ELFIN.

The testing ROM says on screen:
IPL 2.11.1002
SPL 2.11.1000
GSM 02.98.90
OS 2.11.0.0

Device back says:
ELF0300

This was the first Device i tried and i guess i did all wrong i could do.
Can somebody help me out on what to do with it ?

Hi guys, .i'm having issue flashing any uspl's or hardspl's.

I got a Elfin with the unbricker rom but before that I did have mikey's 6.1 cooked rom but now I can't flash any cooked roms either. I found that a shipped french Rogers rom works on my phone and and the test rom but anything else gets rejected like a holey sock in a sock draw. lol

Any help greatly apprecated.

Also I have made a goldcard in the past but that won't help either now. grrr

Hereby I need some advise, I got Elfin which having signal problem and it happen after I upgraded to latest Hard-SPL... The phone signal keep on dropping and now dont have at all. I was thinking it was hardware issue, already went to the shop. They said no any hardware problem. I tried to flash again n again, changing ipl,spl and radio rom but nothing work out. I then decided to flash it to see if the problem was solved, was looking for some original Rom but in the end use of onyx (5.7), I figured I had unlock Cid done (now I'm not so sure), the upgraded and all was resumed and appeared well the new OS with Ipl 2.20 (was strange to me that I should ask for the sim pin and if it detects the network), then rebooted again and relit not stayed in the Vodafone logo. Next I tried another and it is when I entered was not despair because from that moment and gives me the 270 error when I try another rom meterle, now I have ipl 3.10 (the home screen gets smart mobility, but it goes from there)

5 .- There is communication between the PC and the PDA? Only 3 colors screen. Utility room well.

Note: I tried a lot of ipl and Roms and all tell me the same Error 270. I read somewhere (the guide) that the only way is to find an original rom with id cid like my pda (I haven't the id, not saved it). Any suggestions?

Note: I tried a lot of ipl and Roms and all tell me the same Error 270. I read somewhere (the guide) that the only way is to find an original rom with id cid like my pda (I haven't the id, not saved it). Any suggestions?

I managed to get the CID ID and DDEVICE ID through a USB port Sniffer.

CID ID: ELF010050
VENDOR ID: VODAP304
g_cKeyCardSecurityLevel = FF --> CID Locked

If anyone has or knows where to get the original Rom by post it here please.

Hi I've successfully downgraded my ISPl/USPL from 3.14 to 3.10 But in bootloader it shows the same old ISPL 2.26002 any clues? And you guys may think why I downgraded my USPL, well I heard that ISPL/USPL 3.14 drains more battery is it true if it isn't then what's the difference about these versions can anyone give a short explanation for me?

Tryed to downgraded but in the rom utility keeps saying my IMAGE is version 3.14.706.02...????? and i tried really many times...

Does this mean i still have the 3.14 version..

In the tricolor screen in between rom changes appears SPL 3.10.cmon and IPL 2,27..

I dont know what to believe anymore.. can someone help me please?

i had flashed HardSPL 3.10, so i hav to flash IPL 3.10 or 2.20 can work
