Best speed tethering?

I have DCD's 3.2.2 and use Internet Sharing to tether my laptop with Vista. My download speed is 535, my upload 35. Is there anything I can do to increase the speed?

that sounds about right for evdo rev0 speeds. Only thing that will increase your speeds is if you go into a evdo revA area. It seems that your area is not revA yet as you would have a much higer upload speed around 110-200kbs, if you were not in evdo coverage @ all your download speeds would be in the 90-115kbs range. All you can do if your posted speeds are for your home location is to wait it out till your area gets updated to revA speeds.

Looking at evomaps.com it shows I am in a RevA area - Carlsbad, CA (just north of San Diego).

Its all in the ROM if you have wm6 you have rev0 if you flashed up to wm6.1 you have revA
