MistaRip & Garmin.
I think the operamini font can be changed within the operamini setting.
There are settings for size of fonts;
<small, medium, large>
setting for graphics;
<low, medium, high>
and others too.
Kindly check those setting first then post your findings.

This post was mean for those want a paste function on the dialer to have conference call,.
In this case, it was Azharnashir and Freecall,.
Here is some thing you could try,.
1. Go to dialer
2. Call someone (mr.a)
3. Then in the call progress, tab "Option"
4. There you will see "Paste" function, or "Conference" Function
Garmin
Hi Garmin,
You know I figured this solution out myself a number of pages back. I posted it in my reply to freecall. So, I just dial someone (just anyone) and then immediately end it. Then in the call status screen, the paste function is available. I use it this way.
You know, I haven't as yet tried out your 'emergency paste cab' because your rom is so beautiful (mash'Allah) that I just dont want anything to spoil it. By the way, did you or anyone else try out the paste cab and see whether the paste cab really works (especially with the MS Default Dialer) ???
Cheers and Amazing Work Garmin!

Garmin,
While I was using the Stock HTC Rom 6.0, I had set up my Gmail & Yahoo accounts using POP3.
However, with your rom (maybe it has to do with 6.1) I'm only able to set gmail using IMAP4. How can I set up my gmail using POP3? Because IMAP changes the way my phone handles my gmail account. It marks my mails read on the phone as read on the gmail portal as well and puts them in trash if deleted.
Can you please help me get back to POP3?
Thanks

I believe the trick is to misspell gmail (youraddress@gmai.com) to trick it into not automatically setting up the account because the automatic settings use IMAP, then you can manually configure your gmail account as pop3.

Well first of all, i'm providing them of my own free will lol, so i don't think anyone has the right to make demands on what they are, but second, why would they be rom dependant?
***edit*** - my appologies, i misread what you wrote. I see that it was a question lol, silly me.

Relax, no demands were being made.
I was assuming they weren't ROM dependent but I really didn't know so I was asking if they would be. I don't really do the ROM of the week thing, but I do change regularly enough it seems and this would really make my life easier when changing ROMs.
As often as I do change, I actually don't know much about them or how things like these XML files would work. So from someone who doesn't know how those XML files work it's a legitimate question.

Okay, so here are some sample xml files automatically setting up your gmail IMAP, Gmail Pop3, and Mail2Web settings.
You will need to edit the files using notepad or any other xml editing software as they currently say "youremail@gmail.com" and "password" in several places.
To run them during UC simply add the following line to your SDconfig.txt file:
XML: \Storage Card\nameofxmlfile.xml
You can also import them using schap's advanced config, but to do that you will need to rename the files from .xml to .provxml. Then you can click menu and use "import from provisioning xml" optioin.
There may be other ways to use the xml files during your own customization program, but since i don't use other ones i can't speak for them.
If you are really wanting to get into automated customization i recommend you check out this program called OEMizer, which will help you with many customizations settings to be done using regedits or provisional XML.

NOTE: The gmail pop3 xml will set up your gmail account correctly; however, i was unable to get it to download my messages to the inbox, i am not sure what is causing the problem, but it is not with the xml file but rather either with gmail or the rom. If anyone can tell me if they're having the same problems i would appreciate it. I am able to send emails perfectly fine. This is the first i'm i've used pop3 in a long time as i actually prefer IMAP.
***EDIT*** - i verified that pop3 works fine so my issues must be related to my gmail settings.

Gmail doesn't default to Pop3, it defaults to IMAP during setup. If you get your gmail account set up let me know if you have any issues. I had some issues with my gmail pop3, but my other pop3 accounts worked fine which leads me to believe that it's my settings on the gmail somewhere.

Hey Garmin!
I'm using the MS Dialer because like I told you before, dialer in your rom does not show the dialing keys at all in landscape mode. Since I use the phone only in landscape, the number keypad in landscape completely disappears. THis is why I had to switch to the MS Default Dialer. Try it and let me know if there's a work around so I can switch back to you ROM Dialer.
Also, if you can also test your emergency paste cab, then I can run that as well.

These type of comments are of absolutely no value to others. If changing the icons on the folders causes you to "get lost" using your phone then i believe this phone is far to complicated for you. The criticism on this forum should be constructive and with he purpose of helping other users and chefs. If you don't like the icons then simply use a different roms. Words like this are needlessly rude and offensive. Many hours are put into a rom by the chef to make a rom that they like and for others to enjoy. Honestly the work with the icons are exactly what many people love about it. Many of us are tired of seeing so many roms that all look exactly the same.
In the future, if you don't have something more useful to say that this please just forget posting altogether.

LMAO..... just FYI ..... this is a community site and chefs do as they please ..... if you dont like the F$#%ing icons then thats why you have a few other chefs to choose from....... they all change what they want...... and if icons is a thing to change for them, then they can change it to whatever they want....... maybe we should get your picture and use it as the recycling bin (garbage bin) icon!...... geeez...... and if you would have done your research you would have seen that many people like change whether its through garmins roms or others....... next time keep your stupid comments to yourself and if you dont like the icons then use another rom..... its not you are buying these roms ...... why dont you start cooking your own roms and change the icons like you want them and then you dont have to come and insult others for there work that they do for leisure and are kind enough to share with us...... you are trully a dushbag by freind....keep up the good work....idiot!

LMAO... so in other words, only positive comments should be posted according to you?
I have cooked my own roms and I know how much time and effort is needed to accomplish it, I don't need your half-ass reminder about it. Same as this Chef, Garmin, don't need your "defense" in some imaginary "rude/offensive attack" on him since there was none and I haven't criticize his rom either. Merely I have mentioned that the icons are out of order (because they are in case you haven't noticed, and I gave an example in my previous post, so unless I was mistaken you have no claim).
"Many of us are tired of seeing so many roms that all look exactly the same." - that's exactly what made me try this ROM too, but I found out quickly it is not for me and I posted (for the Chef's consideration, not yours) what IMO is wrong.
If you have problem with reading non-100%-positive comments, maybe reading message boards like this is not for you, have you thought of this?
All the best.

It's one thing to give constructive critical feedback, it's a whole different ballgame to be a rude obnoxious twat..
By your definition of "for the chef's consideration", you'd order a meal in a restaurant, the steak comes rare instead of well done, and so you stand up and shout for the chef to 'come over and remove this dung infested, not fit for human consumption, piece of distended camels arse' ? Or do you ask the waiter, politely to take it back as ask them to cook it as requested, or do you just eat it and think 'ah well, it's not what I ordered, but it'll do' ?
If you don't like what a person has done for the community FREELY, in THEIR own free time, then either post your comments in a considerate and polite manner, mutter your obscenities to your self and do the work yourself or **** off and die horribly in a fire.. (See it's not nice is it?...)

There is no shouting, no ****s, nor any of such things in my post (to which you refer as "a rude obnoxious twat.."), however it is in your (and few others) posts.
It is you who just posted "lame and obnoxious" comment laced with ****s and usual flamecrap  (not like I care or it bothers me, so I'm just replying here for the last time here; this thread is about Garmin's ROM, it is complete OT what *you* think should or shouldn't be posted here, so maybe - to quote yourself - you should just **** off and die horribly in a fire? ;) Bye, EOT).

LMAO..... just FYI ..... this is a community site and chefs do as they please ..... if you dont like the F$#%ing icons then thats why you have a few other chefs to choose from....... they all change what they want...... and if icons is a thing to change for them, then they can change it to whatever they want....... maybe we should get your picture and use it as the recycling bin (garbage bin) icon!...... geeez...... and if you would have done your research you would have seen that many people like change whether its through garmins roms or others....... next time keep your stupid comments to yourself and if you dont like the icons then use another rom..... its not you are buying these roms ...... why dont you start cooking your own roms and change the icons like you want them and then you dont have to come and insult others for there work that they do for leisure and are kind enough to share with us...... you are trully a dushbag by freind....keep up the good work....idiot!

I simply said that all criticism should be constructive, which yours was obviously not.
First of all, you obviously know very little for you to act as if i have no right to voice my disdain for your tactless criticism of the rom's "flaws". I have spent as much time as anyone not named Garmin helping people using this rom, and helping to get everything working. A great deal of my personal time has been devoted here, and as such i am not off base to be offended by your words.
If you have problem with reading non-100%-positive comments, maybe reading message boards like this is not for you, have you thought of this?
All the best.
This is a ridiculous statement coming from a "great contributor" to our forum. I simply stated that if you can't find a nicer why to put things here then we don't need your input. If you don't like the icons, then there is nothing wrong with saying "hey Garmin, have you considered this because i think it would be a lot more useful?", but to say statements like the following is just rude, and we are better off without it.
One might as well go a step further and re-label everything too, and might as well rename i.e. "menus" to some "xdzghrzz", sheesh...
How is that constructive or useful to anyone?

This is really starting to get ridiculous ive been reading this forum the past couple years and it has slowly progressed from a friendly helpful site to every other post is **** this and **** that and your mama did this and your daddy did that. How old are you?? The chefs at this site are awesome every one of them.. wanna know why?? its because unlike some greedy people they actually create and better our devices and on top of it share it.. The icons are what garmin wanted not you he wasnt making the rom for you.. hes simply sharing it and making it friendly for all of us to use.. Since when did this community take the mentality that we are deserving. This community was created because the companies wouldnt help us.. now you shit on the people that do help?? Im sure youll come back with some snappy come back about my statement.. whatever helps you sleep at night.. If you dont have anything intelligent to contribute then simply don't. 888 people took offense because it was rude it doesnt matter what you want in the rom.. Cause the tools are readily available to build your own.. and if you really knew what you were doing you would of just dumped it and changed the icons yourself..

Hi Garmin,
I've been experienced seriously RAM leak in this ROM version.
DK 2 FINAL compares to previously installed Dutty's Diamond V1 Build 19588 with exactly same applications and behaviors:
Right after soft reset: 48 MB vs. 68MB
Normal daily use: 32MB vs. 58MB
My temporary solutions are soft reset and/or run "Free RAM" from SKTools. Any premanent fix?
Hi ng,.
You are very welcome mate,.
Scotchua have just send me a PM, he told me there are maybe another way to remove the read only attributes, by using Total Commander, (uncheck the Read Only attributes),.
would you try it bro?

Tks Garmin.
I didn't install Total Commander, but I tried to set attributes by Resco Explorer 7.03. Unfortunately, it didn't go anywhere. I made a cab for myself as you did for me, then it solved the problem.

recent:yourusername@gmail.com
try it out, maybe it works. Could you please also give me the pop3 incoming mail server and smtp outgoing mail server settings, so I can punch them in when trying out the misspelt gmail settings.

I don't think the issue is a memory leak, first off i think the total available memory on this rom is less that what is available on Dutty's rom. Second, i think that you need to compare what programs you have open when you are comparing it under "normal use." After running the rom for 3 days w/o a reset, i have 32MB free with IE, SMS/MMS, activesync, & Icontacts running. This seems consistant with every other rom i've used.

For all the above mentioned notifications, I normally set the light to flash for 'no limit' but i've noticed that despite setting it as such, the orange light flashes only for a limited period and after that it goes back to flashing green.
Any idea how to make the orange light flash for 'no limit'?
Also, when I'm charging the unit (and the orange light is on solid for charging) and if there is a missed call or any other notification, the orange light flashes for a limited time only. Kindly check

Hi Scott,
The programs I normally run as stated in the previous post are: Pocket player, Spb Insight, and Pocket Express. All the applications I install onto this ROM is exactly as I did onto Dutty V1 and I run the same as daily use.
The thing which make me think of memory (RAM) leak is once I close them with "tap and hold X" or "Quick Menu" a little amount of bytes was put back to available RAM. Without soft reset, the available RAM keeps running down daily; sometimes, I have only 24 MB free.

As i said before, i think the biggest portion of your concern is arising from the fact that the total available ram is less on almost all new kaiser roms than it is on the dutty rom. I have run this rom for quite awhile now and haven't experienced anything that indicates there is a memory leak. In fact i've never actually run out of ram using any of the roms.

I think that this is because of the combined sms/mms inbox in the new versions of Archsoft. This is not new behavior for me, and i am not aware of any way to fix it.
thanks scot. but was it also not combined in 6.0 and I never experienced email addresses in 6.0?
thanks

Hi Scott,
The programs I normally run as stated in the previous post are: Pocket player, Spb Insight, and Pocket Express. All the applications I install onto this ROM is exactly as I did onto Dutty V1 and I run the same as daily use.
The thing which make me think of memory (RAM) leak is once I close them with "tap and hold X" or "Quick Menu" a little amount of bytes was put back to available RAM. Without soft reset, the available RAM keeps running down daily; sometimes, I have only 24 MB free.
i would agree with scot. this does not appear to be a mem leak. i've not reset for over a week now and my ram stands at 31 mb. i'm currently running the following programs: activesync, addressbook, calculator, calendar, comm.manager, excel mobile, notes, sms/mms.
maybe your impression of mem leak has to do with some program that you've got installed. try singling out programs, closing them altogether and then checkin for your mem loss to pinpoint the culprit.

Hi azhar,.
Yes bro, thats why i like that dialer, because i could type a number, faster,.
and about the emergency.cab,.
because i have my kaiser back, today, i have try it, and the MS Dialer work with the .cab bro,.
Enjoy the ROM bro,.

Hey Garmin! Great work on the emergency cab! In my act of desparation to restore the paste function in my dialer i landed in this forum. I am using Dutty's Diamond V1 and your emergency cab fixed my dialers as well! It worked on the dialer embedded in the rom and also on nadavi and dutty's touch dual dialer. FANTASTIC!
I haven't tried it on the WM dialer, but based on your post, i assume it will work there as well. THANKS A MILLION! You just saved my marriage (i don't know if my wife was going to put up with me having to hard reset and start all over)! Now i am off to the diamond v1 forum to post this as a solution...

Not to be too blunt about it, but i don't think it is really of any value to compare the functions you experience in WM6.0 to WM6.1, as a great many things have changed, specifically relating to how sms/mms interact. I have always experienced it acting this way, but i spent virtually NO time on WM6.0 as Dutty was just coming out with his WM6.1 roms when i got my Kaiser.

HI Garmin,
hope you are well and enjoying life !
I am quite thrilled about the Garmin V3 announcement , even if I can not point one single point I am missing or that is not working in Garmin V2 for me. But one can never get enough or ? So I consider V3 a luxury update :-)
It would be great if you could include the cut/copy dialer fix into the ROM direct to work in the correct way with the standard MS dialer by any chance ?
Again my thanks for your great work and outstanding helpful attitude, you clearly set the mark !
best regards

These ROM look very nice. I have been using Dutty's Diamond 3.5 V1 since I received my Tilt, but am looking to try another one.
Could someone explain the difference between the ClearType and D3D versions of the GarminDK2FULL? (I understand what cleartype is but don't really know what D3D is, why would you choose the Cleartype version over the D3D or vice versa?)
Thanks. (And apologies for the possibly noobish questions)

Hi 0ri,.
D3D Driver is Direct 3D Driver, until now, the driver is still in beta,.
The D3D driver couldnt be use with landscape cleartype together, thats why i spare it,.
When the D3D supported, then the cleartype wont be able to RUN, and when the Cleartype is enabled, and then the D3D wont RUN (Visa versa),.
Choose whatever fit to you sir,.
if you need cleartype, then use FULL CT version,.
Okay?

I am currently using DK2 Full with included radio, 1.65.24.36 on SPL 3.56. I use Jawbone 2 with MSVC 1.6.19209. I am having issues with my Bluetooth loosing connection, not picking up calls, showing as active on the dialer screen but audio still routed to phone or shutting off. I have seen other posts that say that MSVC causes some issues but not sure if these are the ones. Is this related somehow to the rom or radio?

I've been using DK2 Final for as long as it was first releaed and I've never expeienced this before. In the last 3 days, I've lost all sound as many times. Soft Reset and they're back.
Don't know what could possibly be causing this. Details on what all I'm using is in my signature. Would appreciate help as I'm travelling.
Thanks

Have flashed probably all recommended ROM's and tweaked whatever possible...
..but always come back to 2.0 Final, the most convincing in speed and feel...
..just wanted to congratulate to old pal Garmin for this (and all other) contributions!
