Well I upgraded to 1.56.70.11 through sd card process and it said GSM Updated Sucessful, however it still shows 1.54.30.10

Havent experience any problems so far.

I have see many of your posts all over the internet at differet Palm forums regarding the crappy radio version 1.54.30.10 you are experiencing

I think you should go a head and try the upgrade and post your result to help others. Since you are having so many issues with the 1.54.30.10. After you upgrade to 1.56.70.11 if u no longer have problems then that means the radio upgrade really works even though it doesnt show under the phone version menu.

I did a couple of test calls in volitle area and no drop calls so that is good news. since it still show the old radio so i m still monitoring hoping im not experiencing placebo effect. im using USA Tmobile no 3g so I can't comment on that.
