Hi fellow Trinity users!
I'm sure you've noticed a few changes in our Forum and Subfora.
Please state your point of view regarding the Trinity Mobile 6 Subforum maintenance, cleanup and reorganisation process!
Also, you can post here any suggestions, observations, ideas, claims, etc. you might have in improving the Forum.

Firt of all I would like to congratulate you for your new role. It's good to have someone like yourself, organizing and moderating the Trinity forums, as you have shown in many occasions that you care and you are also very knowledgeable.
The Trinity forums were very disorganized, with new irrelevant topics growing in all subforums everyday. Since you have been assigned as a moderator, I have, like everyone else I believe, a radical change, to the best.
Keep up the good work. You have our support.

oh god, I've seen his ROMS, who put him in charge? we're all dooooomed!
Only joking :) it's looking good so far, a bit of order is good in the sea of chaos that was the Trinity section

all in all good work...let it long continue.
i`d suggest tho making a totally seperate section exclusively for rom releases........it gets waaaay too cluttered to make head or tail of whats going on....but as i said, its a double edged sword.
you clean it up, ppl post and post and post, and clutter it up again.

Stop deleting valid questions placed in the right threads.
You will only drive people from the community if the over moderation does not back off.

this is the second time you've posted this. You made your own thread.
I've found the mods to be rather fair and reasonable. If the question is stupid, it merits a stupid answer, does it not.?

No. A stupid question just requires patience and a little further digging to find out what it is the person is asking or trying to ask.
People come here looking for help, not for people to belittle them or be beligerant in nature towards them.
If you have little patience, having a bad day, you really shouldn't be moderating at that point in time, take a break and come back after you have calmed.
Not everyone here uses english as their first, or even second language, you only have to look over a few threads to see this, what looks like a stupid question to you may just have been someone trying to use english which is not their first language.

May i post a suggestion here??
Could you create a template for posting roms?
The rules would look like this:
-Summary should look like this...
-First section should contain info about cooker
-Second section should contain updates compared to last version(changelog)
-Third section should contain list of all included applications and for each application the exact version
-Fourth sections should contain benchmark results and memory usage
-Fifth section should contain a minimal amount of screenshots of certain areas
This is just one of many possibilities, imho using a template will make it easier to compare roms on both features, looks and speed. The only thing the template cannot account for is stability.
Also a 2nd request: As roms get lighter and ligher more and more base windows features get removed, if we had all the basic windows components as installable cabs people could create an ultra light rom and the user could just jus UC2 to add all the basic windows features he needs. The cabs would have to be updated with each new windows release though

Yes, we could but: I'm positive that there would be exceptions to the "template rule" and I'm saying this based on the proven fact that there are exceptions to the thread naming rule too (which I personally correct).
So i strongly believe it would have no appliability! Some would obey, some would not and that would mean more work for me...

Well not obaying could be enforced with a lock, with a nice read the rules message? same goes for summaries.
Ofcourse a warning before the lock.
I used to enfore these rules in other forums, and frequent a lot of forums where these rules work great after an adjustment period. More work at first its true, great results in the end though.
Would be better if the template was for the whole xda board and not just trinity

We don't do that here at XDA-developers! We have rules but beyond that everyone is free to express theirselves as they wish. A badly created and unwise posted new thread will only give more headaches to the initiator so it's more like their interest to structure it well.

hi!!!
the recent change in modification of the subject of each topic are sublime!!!! I think it could be better if it can be added the device (P3600 or P3600i) in the subject of new ROM topic.
keep it on!!! :-)

Unfortunately space would not allow that. The thread title is limited to an exact number oc chars.
Second, there is only one 3600i ROM yet, maybe there'll be others too, but I believe that chefs have to state clearly and very visible what device is the ROM for in their thread.

I have a suggestion. It would be easier to search for a ROM if we could use countries flags as an icon for the topic ! ;)
