I'm not very experienced with this app...is it free??

And is this something meant to be used WITH HTC Home or instead of it? Cause they seem to do some of the same things...

this is not free, but try the 14 day demo and try to figure out if it is worth it to you. there are some great aspects to it, such as the contacts page or the spb home plugin, but personally i feel you are better off with htc home
