Well another great ROM that won't boot up on P3600i.
Re-worked the header to 401 and the ROM flashes Ok but then stalls at the 2nd Splash screen.
Bummer...........must be something to do with the base that is used.
Hopefully someone will find the problem sometime soon. I was really looking forward to using this ROM.
Maybe I will flash it to my wifes D810.....at least then I can have a play with it.

It might be something to do with kernel or XIP. As a hunch, you could compare the nk.exe from those that work with the nk.exe of those who don't.

Hi Tynyynt. Just flashed your 005TNYSXY. Working absolutely great, but then you know that as you made it!
Even though it is a naked version, which is perfect for my needs, I thought I'd suggest that the following programs could be worth including on future versions:
1. PDC now has a version (1.1.6) that includes new registry values that allow you to tweak the color of the individual display elements on the plug-in. It's purely cosmetic but worth updating for. Downloading the cab (http://project.ionized.googlepages.com/PDC_v1.1.6.CAB) is easy enough, but you may want to cook it into future versions anyway.
2. "Today Agenda" (http://tiews.info/index.php?show=&lang=en) is a great freeware today screen plugin (you may know about it already). I used to use spb diary but not since I found this. Might be worth cooking in.
3. I think most people eventually need "Regedit". The freeware cab I use is from hellonasty's list at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1645355&postcount=2
Hope this feedback is useful. Thanks for your work. Great to see you doing your own ROMS now! Your feedback on other ROMS (like FInixNOver's) has been so useful too.

Did not want to remove it! Anyway supposed space gained by removing is negligible.

Mattster.
1. Latest PDC will be included in future SXY release.
2. Today Agenda will not be included since the SXY version is a naked one, thus not contianing anything. Maybe I will consider in future BSN edition.
3. PHM Registry Editor is a must have app to every Windows Mobile user. It's a very small app that everyone can install on their own. Including it in the ROM would not result in anything but annoyance from those who prefer other Registry Editors (registry editor is a tool I consider every user should install on itself.)
I've deactivated HTC task manager (I use spb pocket plus which has one) and I wonder if this is why I'm not getting the % battery icon to appear, even though I've installed the above? Thing is, i can't figure out how to reactivate the HTC task manager! Help please...
You can disable HTC Task Manager from within it's applet but I'm almost positive that you have the battery issue because of SPB software.

So if you saw the first post, that answers you question about ROM color. There are screenshots there too, but in case you missed those, it's BLUE.
As for Voice speed dial, you are right, it's not in post #1, so it means it's not in the ROM, so, to answer your question, no, ROMs don't contain Voice Speed Dialing of any kind.

Thanks Tnyynt...I am just not real sure how I can compare them. I have one of the working ROMs dumped, but I cant find any files in the dump folder that match nk.exe.

Nice, pretty fast and super stable and worth keeping. Just the right mix of apps burnt into the ROM that don't need upgrading to new versions. Could do witout HTC Home though, would use SXY but need to put the document viewers/editors in there anyway.

It showed up for me right after the flash just fine. I installed the newer larger button version over it (2.1.34072.100)and that worked fine too.
I prefer the larger buttons (easier to use without stylus) and I also added Large Start menu. See attached Screenshot.

Hi i finally decided to move away from Bepe's. This Version is faster than Bepe's rom, and looks stable after about 6 hours of testing. Checked wifi, minisd, certified exchange server connections, tomtom, ewallet, ...looks promising. i make this entry to encourage other users - since i was a bit uncertain about flashing such a new release on my telephone (I use it to work...)

Did you install any third party apps? Go to settings, HTC Task Manager applet, disable it, restart and then reenable it. It should work!
i finally managed to get it working by re-installing the task manager version 2.xxx
Another problem, i can't get access to the internet for some reasons?
I'm connected to my router, but IE can't go anywhere?

Try disabling your proxy on the PDA. I have to do that for the internet to pass through my router or try setting the PDA's IP as the DMZ in your router.

Did not want to remove it! Anyway supposed space gained by removing is negligible.
100% agree with you... but also keep in mind that there is new user that doesn't know how to use it... (ok ok i think they are not used to use hardspl too :D)
an idea: making a tuto about the registry (because i can't do because of lack of time, i have just the idea:p) should be a great thing in our forum i think

Am I the only one with notification settings problems?
A few hours after I configure them they are cleared, they con't revert to original, they're completely silenced, and I didn't even reset the device: configured, went to sleep, woke up and only noticed I had a message 'cause of "Don't Forget (http://magazin.softimage.cz/?page_id=26)" notification.
Also, the sms delivery receipt entry isn't listed at first, which I find normal since I came across the same behaviour on other roms, but after the settings are cleared it is the only entry with some kind of notification.
UPDATE: heh, found out what's causing the notification problem: Opera Mobile 9.5, can someone confirm? Configure sms/email/mms, launch opera, check settings again.

Secondly, it may not related to your ROM but in general after i tried with few others ROM eg. Diamond, I have encounter something rather strange. My background app (MSN ) does sometimes kill off itself, i suspect it's the memory leak that embedded with the wm6.1 coz i have never encounter this on wm6(with the same app open).
Anyway, it's my second day of trying, will keep on update. Again, it is the best ROM that I have tried so far, GOOD JOB DUDE

Compared to FInixNOver's ROMs, my ROMs have newer version of Esmertec Java. They have the same settings though, maybe they changed something related to security policy or just maybe Opera Mini is another newer version. I have a strong feeling it's Opera Mini related though!

Another nice ROM, but I’m having a problem when synching with exchange. It seems to be fine if it’s just the inbox but when I start to add additional folders at some point it will start to error 0x80004005. I have tried different combinations of folders and can’t find a common denominator, I have also re-flashed twice and dropped the sync relationship and set it back up but cannot get back to the same sync settings that I had before. I didn’t have this issue with 002TNYBSN and may well revert to that if I can’t resolve
If anyone can offer any ideas please help

I too had problems with memory leakage. Windows media player would crash due to low memory after opening an mp3 for a few seconds and opera would suggest to close some tabs, as I was low on memory. I thought cache might be of some help and installed advanced config. I enabled system cache at 256kb, file system cache size at 8 sectors and glyph cache at 8kb. I have also changed the default storage locations to use the memory card. Now I have no low memory situations and both opera and WM player work fine.

Just saw the 005TNYSXY today and decided to give it a try and was some what disappointed aside from some small bugs like others reported I find this one thing really annoying. I'm using the standard version but I experienced the memory leakage after I installed a bunch of applications, with opera 9.5 latest beta included. Sorry, should have clarified that. After using advanced config, the issue is resolved though, so it may be of some use to someone else.

Like I said, my image editing abilities are non existent. I played around with hue a bit and restored the windows logo from a second layer. I just didn't think it would be proper to ask you to do, as you may prefer it as it is, so I gave it a shot and I am quite pleased I may say. BTW the tone difference isn't that noticeable on the phone IMO. I did it a bit darker on purpose, as the green looked a bit darker on the pc than on the phone :)

The FW is great and fast, but noticed that it has a problem with MapKing 2007. The program refuses to start beyond its splash screen, it just exit itself. I tried on the SXY and BSN versions both with the same result. Using Akeo V2, it was working fine.
Other wise it is great!
Also noticed that the JBED in BSN version could not install programs, throwing not enough memory error.... will research that further...

No. Look for free memory and also look for processes or apps resident that may eat it up.

Free memory in SXY is lots more than stock and Akeo (which should be the case - I installed MapKing immediately after flashing to prevent other software from being the memory cause), so that should not be a problem...

ActiveSync disconnects because of ASyncKiler.
It is supposed to do that, but it should do it after connection has been closed.
Now either your connection drops and ASyncKiler is doing the job it's been designed for, or it is behaving strange.
If you need more than 10 minutes of synching, try to temporarily remove ASyncKiler from Windows\Startup and reset.
To be honest, my PDA is always connected to PC and has never killed ActiveSync.

It shows on my device!
Try disabling and hiding from task bar, restart, then reenable both options.

You can use SKTools or another software to reset the Caches to their defaults and try again.

Thanks. In that case, I have installed the same file. I still face the same problem. It must then be something to do with my D810 device and SD card...
Saw another posting that it may be defects in the PDA memory or SD card. I reformatted the SD card, but the problem remains. So it is likely something to do with the PDA... But it had worked with AkeoV2 built.....
Will continue to investigate...
Other than this, your FW works great...

I am using 005TNYSXY. I think I might try the hard rest idea when I have more time. Thanks. Will update all when I managed to solve this problem.
---------------------
Managed to resolve the problem. With tnyynt's suggestion, I took the following steps to nail the problem.
* Firstly I hard reset the D810 and installed Mapking to the phone itself. MapKing worked!
* Then I installed it to the SD card. It did not work.
* Suspecting some problem with the SD card, I used pocket mechanic to low level format the card at FST32-4k cluster and then installed the MapKing. It worked.
* Happy with the result, I restored my D810 backup and SD card backups. MapKing did not worked.
* I hard reset again and installed packages by packages one by one and testing Mapking at each step. I managed to narrowed down to some faulting map files in my SD card which caused MapKing to showdown when it attempted to read them.
Cheers!

ROM: 007TNYSTD - CE OS 5.2.20226 (Build 20226.1.1.4) WWE
ESM: don't know I've tried 3 different cabs from the HTC cab collections, none of them worked. Previously all of them were ok using Finixnover's roms.
For example this did not work either:

Hello
First sorry for my bad english :-)
I do not have the complete answer but when i install an application (the probleme is that i don't know the one), the enlarge menu work
When the installation of Enl.Menu is done at first - the soft isn't working :-(
It might be (I'm looking what is installed on my Trinity)
Adobe Acrobat LE
total commander
HTC Dialer
HTC Action Screen
HTC Advanced Config
HTC_TaskManager_2_1_33556_1_WWE
or PhoneScreenLock
I think one of these soft is the answer.
Maybe a way to solve the problem

I too had problems with memory leakage. Windows media player would crash due to low memory after opening an mp3 for a few seconds and opera would suggest to close some tabs, as I was low on memory. I thought cache might be of some help and installed advanced config. I enabled system cache at 256kb, file system cache size at 8 sectors and glyph cache at 8kb. I have also changed the default storage locations to use the memory card. Now I have no low memory situations and both opera and WM player work fine.
Here's (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317070) a link to download advanced config. Do let me know if it really works or if it is the placebo effect
I can confirm that this actually works. While I have no compliants with this rom (I think it is the fastest most stable rom available) I too was having memory leaks for whatever reason, probably someting I have loaded. I have tryed at least 6 other roms and all haveing the same memroy leaks, but this rom stock was better than most. I chanced these settings with the addition of 512 instead of 256 and memory leaks have been 1000000000 times better than befor. While I have had no complaints about the speed, as I stated I think this is the fastest availible, but after these chances I think there is a noticible speed INCREASE, now it is trully BLAZING. Maybe this will work for some of y'all as well. tnyynt maybe you can incorporate these into your next build? Anyway it is a VERY NICE ROM!!!:D:eek::cool:

I think I may have found a minor bug. In contacts options, when I try to select them all, nothing happens. For some reason, active sync duplacated my contacts and I preferred to hard reset than delete them one by one. After the hard reset, it still won't work.
I'm using the 007std version. Anyone has the same issue, or shall I reflash?

True! Contact selection (either multiple or all) does not work. It must be a bug of the build (it does not work in SXY nor BSN either). It will be fixed in next release as I'm testing it and it works there!

looking forward to flashing it ...
after few days ... playing around with this rom ...
the fastest there ... (I tested all the 6.1 roms ;) ) and with the tweaks for the cache and stuff ... it really improved speed ... and stability ...
nice collection of stuff ... although i hate the adobe LE ... (which is way limited) and the full is free and u just can drop it in ur SD card and it does a perfect job ...
MMS works perfectly ... even the voice ... which is a rare quality (only in tnyynt's and FInixNOver 3.4) ...
the annoying sounds were killing me but thanks to tnyynt the fix works fine and now the device is quiet as a baby ...
for some reason ... I can't restore from a backup in this rom ... tried resco backup and spb backup ... strangely it doesn't restore well ... any ideas ???

It's a bit of an expensive price to pay for that feature regarding that Adobe Reader 2.0 takes up 7.85 MB Storage Memory while Adobe Reader LE takes up only 2.11. Do the maths: is 5.74 MB worth the reflow?
And, FYI, included Adobe Reader LE 2.5 has the reflow option! ;)

I assume no one is experiencing any data connection issue? I get really slow data connection and not sure if it's my setting or ROM related. Basically with HSDPA on or off, 3G off, I get only around 60 kbps!! (in NYC with full signal bar using AT&T) With 3g turned on, I get even worse, 25-45 kbps again with full signal bar. When I try to connect to data network it'll say connecting to GPRS, 3G, after established connection, it'll always have a little "g" square on top of the signal regardless if I have 3g or hsdpa turned on or not.
any one?
