Has anybody figured out how the touch button works? In the camera app, the focusing starts as the finger approaches the button (1mm), can that be applied for example in the dialer instead of pushing the button to start the call just touch?

I'd assume it'd be possible but how it would be done is another question all together. But if the cooks and chefs can figure out the whole mechanism and reverse engineer it, I'm sure they can use it for whatever apps/functions they'd want.

Yep, Schaps's app is going to be one of the best (if not, THE BEST) finger/thumb friendly app for the Diamond/Pro.
