WM6.1 + HTC Home 2.1

I know this is probably already working for many of you, but I noticed there was no thread detailing how to get HTC Home 2.1 working on a Wizard with WM6.1.

Here's the method I used:

1) Download and Install the following version of HTC Home 2.1 but DO NOT RESTART your device when the installation is finished

http://rapidshare.com/files/59418145/Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.814.722.HTCHome.Dir.With.Brig htness.Fix.Updated.01OCT2007-schen.cab.zip

2) Download this HTCHome.dll file and copy into the "Windows" directory on your device (Say YES to overwrite). Then Soft Reset the device.

3) Then go to Settings->(Personal Tab)->Today->(Items Tab) and select HTC Home as an option to be displayed in the "Today" screen. There is also a Tab called "HTC HOME" that allows you basic configuration of HTC HOME. For better configuration do step 4 below which is completely optional.

4) Install emunutz's HTC Customizer 1.0 for full customization of HTC Home 2.1 (Optional but well worth it).

does it update weather via GPRS...HTC HOme 2.1 worked for me as well but never ever got weather to update through GPRS/EDGE which is what I need the most.

I would ask all of you to use Touch Commander, it is a great software but the problem is its not a freeware/shareware but for that there is a solution but i cant tell you here on xda-dev. But i would prefer Touch Comander. TC

I think it does because it tries to use GPRS to download but I don't have a data plan. I update it via wi-fi but when there is no wi-fi connection it tries via GPRS.

I have already installed it...it's working great, better than the manila 2d i had on here that was cooked into the rom...however, what do i need to change to get my local weather? the customizer works good to a certain extent, when i look up my home to add weather, it doesn't give me anything. I know my home is a major weather location, I'm a trained storm spotter. just wanted to know what i can change to get it working.
