plz help my device has lost its sounds

hi, my name is manasseh, i own an XDA exec(ROM version:1.30.76WWE , ROM date 02/20/06, Radio version:1.09.00, protocol ver:42.42.p8, ExtROM:1.30.164WWE, Model NO:pu10).there are no service point that i know of in my country. my i mate jasjar Xda exec has lost its sound, not even the clicks or notifications work. the phone is kinda useless now cos when i get a call i cant hear anything unless i use my bluetooth headset or my ear piece, not even media player sound comes out but every other thing works perfectly. its like my device has no speaker but it rings when i get a call and that's all the sound it makes. pls help me somebody.

Take a very thin screwdriver, insert it into your earphone opening and wiggle lightly. Helps if you set your media player to play something at the same time, so that you'll know when the sound is back. Good luck.

i have the same prblm, i put a thin screwdriver in the headphones connector & at the same time playing music so i heard the muzik in a few instant moving the screwdriver in the hole makes the sound come back, all works fini now phone sound movies ringtones thanks

seulement pour dire que le fait d'enfoncer un petit tournevis ds la prise casque permet de retrouver le son; il faut l'enfoncer délicatement, puis faire des petits mouvement et il arrivera qu'on va par moment entendre la musique, il faut continuer jusqu'à ce que la musique reste permanente :) évidement il faut faire cela en même temps qu'on lit on morceaux sonore avec le PDA
