Hi all,

I've searched the entire forum several times, but i cant find any solution for this so i would like some tips on how to fix this problem :)

First off, Activesync is working just fine, thats not the problem. But i would like to be able to update weather info and quickgps for instance by simply using activesync with the USB cable. All i get is a simple error "Can't connect".

my PC is a Xp x64 system, HTC has the original dutch rom installed.

please gimme some tips :)

You have to have Advanced Connectivity (or something like that) enabled in the USB to PC connection settings...

I have the same problem. When you don't have 3G connexion create internet work fine on USB.

But when you specify the network 3G for application which access to internet this does not work.

I need help to ! how to specify when 3G is not avaible (ActiveSync USB) use the work network for internet ?

No it should be DISABLED to make it work, when enabled you will not be able to activesync when connected via usb. That was the problem here for me.

Check this.

Open Registry Editor on your desktop (Start/Run and type "regedit") and locate the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services. Right-click on the value list and choose New/DWORD value. Type the name "AllowLSP" and leave the value zero. Disconnect and connect your device and Pocket Internet Explorer (and all other applications) will start working.

It simply fixes my problem with ActiveSync 4.5. :)

I also had this problem, and following this it was solved:

Open Registry Editor on your desktop (Start/Run and type "regedit") and
locate the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services.
Right-click on the value list and choose New/DWORD value. Type the name
"AllowLSP" and leave the value zero.
Disconnect and connect your device and Pocket Internet Explorer (and all
other applications) will start working.
