Hello,

i am really stuck in it :-) I have a new Slim Diamond ROM which is really great. But it uses calibri font as default for whole system which really looks great too. But when i installed Opera Mini 4.1 it is showing another kind of font with bad encoding. I googled all the day and found many solutions but nothing works with me :-( Anyone has any idea how to solve this? I tried for example the trick with aahoma.ttf font...Thank you for your future help.

Why not change your font, see Merlin signature and You see how to do it

Also, to Slim Roms there's a link to a Tahoma Font

I prefer Segoe Ui

Opera Mini is an app. running under Java

I doubt that you may change the font only for Opera Mini, since the others are Ok

Why don't you try Opera 9.5 ? Might solve your problem, also can be installed in your SD card

I know that i can change the font in Opera Mini, but any procedure i have found on the web did not work!

I have Opera 9.5, but it is not as data amount friendly, as Opera Mini is :-)

So my question is (again): How to change the font in Opera Mini, with some kind of proven method? I have find some methods like to copy to Windows folder and rename tahoma.ttf to aatahoma.ttf, but it doesnt work even if i restarted device! So now i am stucked :-(

I have same problem on my ASUS M530w - no latvian, russian fonts in Opera Mini.
All other apps fixed with segoe fonts from WinVista copied to /Windows/Fonts,
but Opera Mini not.

So I found - only way is get/create mods
here is russian
http://opera-mini.ru/index.html
http://opera-mini.ru/texinfo/fonts.html
http://opera-mini.ru/file/

I will try, hope this helps.
