Maestro 32xx files erased after reset?

I was able to semi-unbrick my Maestro 3210 after reflashing the OS. I can get into the system using filemanCE when using GS933autorun.inf from the SD card. I can copy Magellan files to the HDD (TFAT) folder, however, when the unit is reset, it deletes all the files in the HDD folder. Is there a way to fix this?
