I think I just blew my rw6815's wifi by burning a wrong image on it, not just the os but "ALL", with the extended rom and the boot...
I've managed to get it back to HP's original WM5 image and it works ok. Or at least I can say OK, without WIFI !!! (gross)
So, anyway I can get hold of the original extended rom and others by HP? The update sp35815.exe on HP's site doesn't seem to solve my problem. And it's actually pointless for me to carry this ipaq without wifi working, 'coz i'm using it as much as i use the gsm.
By the way, interestingly, bluetooth and ir-da works fine. The gsm part has no problems either.
EDIT: I did try burning PDAVIET's rom again, different versions (I tried 1.05b, 2.01b_beta1, 2.03.01b and 2.03.02b... All versions work the same, everything's ok except the wireless. The system information page either shows nothing about wireless or it shows the wireless part with the below info:
[+] wireless lan
driver rev: N/A
Firmware rev: N/A
Hardware rev: 1.0
..
Radio Present: Yes
(I guess this is shown only on HP original WM5)
