Email Software (Home screen)

I'm looking to a soft which have a today screen (With an alert if there are any new mail).
I would like to configure it for my hotmail adress . The difficulty is that I only have a Wap connection (port 80 / 443 only).

Is there a soft that can do it ?

I beleive the connection is a matter of settings.
