oh man! u must either try your sd card on some other device or try some other card on your BA. u can buy a card reader they are very cheap.

dont worry few days back i hv repair my device. Here in all sd slots three pins are placed in order one above another. when we insert the card in unlock mode (without write protection) pin 1,2 and 3 get shorted. when in lock mode only 1 and 2 get shorted. shorting of 1 and 2 gives the presence of card and 2 and 3 gives the lock status. In your case pin 1 and 2 are not shorting.

Problems
1. the pin get damaged.
2. the pin get desolded.

:) i hv solution for both.

step 1 open ur device.
step 2 check the status of solded pins. (view images)
step 3 Re solder them.
step 4 if above does not work short the two points with a small wire.

if u hv applied the step 4 do not remove the card from the device for a long time as shorting of 1 2 gives the presence of card.

and if u r not comfortable with this send ur device to me.

look at the red arrows. U cant see the pins as they r behind the metallic protection on which numbers r written.

i dont think so that u hv shorted the pins (1,2) and if u hv try some other rom.
