Hi to all,

just for reference........black theme extended doesnt work properly on diamond ROM 1.93 (official), tooooo sllloooow, impossible to manage it.
during the procedure the phone tell me "deleting file.....around 500" and than installing new file..."more than 900..."
maybe manila in 1.93 have less files than other ROM (like 1.37), maybe this is the problem.
anyway dont run, so flash back to 1.37 and it work GREAT.

Today i release a new version of my tool and of the themes.

Fixed: Background image after restore was not changed
Fixed: black font color on startmenu (only on t-mobile theme it have to be black)
New: Select path where your themes stored. default: internal storage\themes.
fixed: sometimes the windows mobile theme (htc black.tsk, o2 theme.tsk, etc.) not changed correct.

I just love the date format changing bit on its own!

One problem for me is that the HTC Black Coloured and Coloured Extended themes do not show the Music "library" tabs. I don't know if this is a ROM issue or a fault with the theme. This is a nice theme otherwise and I would use it.

Particularly important though, the restore button works in 1.93.831.1 WWE.

Hi, I am new to the HTC Diamond (got the Compact IV by T-Mobile)

I want to use Diamond TF3D Config to change the theme - it says i need 10-20Mb free on the device, Does this mean 'Storage' memory (got approx 10mb of 84mb free) or 'Program' memory (got approx 42mb of 113mb free)

or can the themes just be installed to the 4GB 'Internal' memory (sorry if that sounds slightly confusing)

You do know there are 2 tabs in settings > memory, right? On the second tab you'll see the actual free space on your internal storage. On the first it's on the left the main memory and on the right the RAM memory.

All further themes will be extended versions, because if you don't like the call history you can hide it with my tool.

So the suffix " Extended" will not be added to the themes anymore.

Thats acualy the same problem i been having sins i installed a new rom to my Diamond. Right now im using =

and frankly i dont wanna go back sins this on is working 1000000000 times faster and better then the swedish one did. = 1.37.413.3SVE

Only thing thats bothering me is that @ someplaces no matter what you do i still have some english here and there :)

But anyway When i used the swedish one Everything always worked prefekt with your updates. But with the new one I allso have the black fonts is i change. Well acualy its the right fonts its just that the background that should be white is not there.

And im using the new Themes upp to date.

Moreover I found Touchflow slower and when I startup HTC, it takes more time to be operational.

I'm using Bepe's 0.95 ROM now and using the vodafone red theme.
Everything looks ok and good. It's just that now TF3d uses all of the existing fade-in/out, scrolling animations used in previous ROMs.

It just makes the phone slower and a bit less usable. Anyone know how I could disable the animations?

Not to worry, just found out it's because I'm using a TRL ROM. Installing the TLR theme from a CAB now so should be fine :)

Go to settings -> Home and select again the theme (O2 in your case) which you installed then press ok. This worked for me.

to solve this black font problem, I installed "whiteclock_33 theme" and all was OK after. Just take care to deactivate Touchflow3D before installation.
Reset the phone and you should see everything ;)

i don't know if someone already come up with this ( i tried to read all thread, but are to many pages!!):
i had a problem installing vodafone theme, and reading the thread , i saw that i was not the only one..but i resolved the problem in the followind way:
As was said not all the file of manila was copied so,

after the soft reset ,and the theme doesn't start, open tf3d config,repeat the installation, and this time all the files should be copy..soft reset the diamond..all should work fine and with usual speed!!!

i have a problem with updating the weather when i use the black colored extended theme, it wont update . but my dataconection is fine.
also with the 33 whiteclock theme it doesnt update the weather. anybody got same problems??

Hey, Thanks Heaps, I love this theme, it is just as fast as any other theme and I love the clear clock and all the icons at the bottom. Does take a long time to install.... so yes, it would be great if it was cooked into a rom.

I have upgrade my HTC Touch Diamond to latest Rom 1.93.707.1 WWE
(ROM dated : 07/13/08). So which one you tried ? Did you install one of the
add-on which has caused the slow performance? Which Add-ons is that?
I install Vodafone Theme (installed through TF3D Config from Sushi). After
upgrading this ROM, now I plan to put back the Vodafone Theme, will it slow
down the HTC overall performance?

Now after upgrade, it has better performance then original HTC previous ROM.
How about other Themes (I see many themes have been offered here):
- HTCManila_33-AddOn
- HTCManila_30-AddOn
- Voda_OrangeMix
Which one is most recommended and which one will cause the slow down performance?

Also one simple question (probably silly question), if I install any of these theme, if I want to restore to original HTC, how do I do that (except reinstall
the ROM) I cannot uninstall the installed Theme, right?

On my ROM it is little bit slower but not so much (almost the same like the previous 1.37xxx ROM) but installation is very very slow!! This one is nice, but the transparent clock doesn´t look so good like on a picture:D

Ok so once you've placed all these manilla files in the wondows directory of the phone, how do you then select this as a them for the phone?

Ok I get that copying these manilla files over to the windows directory replaces the manillan files on the phone.

But when I try to move these files to the wondows directory I get an error msg, says access denied, make sure i have enough memory etc and these files are not in use?

I turned touch flo off and tried but got the same msg.

How can I avoid this error msg?

Copy the manila files to somewhere on your phone from your computer( not directly to windows folder ) ...
use Total Commander (on your phone) to copy the manila files to the windows folder..

Then restart TouchFlo..

If you want to go back to original manila, just delete the files you put there... no worries the original manila files are always on the rom..

If you did some re(search) about it, you would find all the answers in this forum... ;)

Thanks NisseDILLIGAF, it works really well now. Really fast on swiftys latest ROM as well and it seems to work better then the coulour themes that have been knocking about on here. Have you tried it?

Only thing I've noticed is that there is a random grey shaded block that seems to appear when you view music in touch flo and wen you click on all programs in touch flo, have you seen it.

I like it as the icons along the bottom that bit of colour it needed. It also gets rid of all the ugly tron style blocking in the background of touch flo.

Multiple files ones don't need to be installed, try to copy them in "windows" folder of your phone... If zou don't like it, just delete those files from the same "windows" folder

I took the 'Red Theme' and mixed it with manila files from 'Black theme'...

I forgot to say that you have to do a soft reset after yo have copied the files...
And If you want to go back to original TouchFlo, just delete the '*_manila' files from windows folder...

The .theme file is the same as a .zip file! just compress files in .zip and rename extension in .theme (HTC.zip-->HTC.theme)

to solve this black font problem, I installed "whiteclock_33 theme" and all was OK after. Just take care to deactivate Touchflow3D before installation.
Reset the phone and you should see everything ;)

My opinion, Orange Themes is the Best, have many thing modified, not only some colours and the most important for me - you can move the Analog Watch from "Home" with the finger anywhere on the screen

You can always add the call history tab, using the .cab file.. :)..
Do a simple search.. you'll find it !!

EDIT: working perfectly.. lags a little at first when you boot up the screen but after a few seconds it is a lot faster. is there any way to change the text of 'mPro' to 'Programs'?

EDIT 2: was working perfectly but switching between favourite contacts is very slow.. and TF3D is now reacting very slow too. going to revert back to the default from Tom's latest V3.3 ROM.

:confused: Strange, same rom 3.3 FRE and no lag problem, try a restore TF3D and reinstal chunghwa theme.

i can't change themes... because the don't get displayed ...

i have put the .theme files in internal storage\themes...

i have also tryed to rename the folder and back rename it to themes...

still nothing is listed...

will look forward for next release...

Certainly hope so. There are a few standard TF3D themes in different colors, but they forget about this one. A couple of this style in different colors would be nice.

I read it somewhere, but I can't find that post anymore. What is exactly the difference between the regular and lite version? I thought it was the extra orange tabs and some more. But they are also in the version you linked.

If someone want the chunghwa theme, here it is.

Just copy the files to the windows dir of the diamond.

It will not change your version of manila, thats only the config files and the image files of the manila. So you can stay with your actual manila version.

Its full english.

The Chunghwa.tsk file is also included, just changed it in the today settings.

i have an orange locked phone, ROM 1.37

will these themes work. The instructions clearly say ORIGINAL ROMS and im not sure if u class the locked Orange ROM as an original.
