tried your hitman theme NisseDILLIGAF.............. very nice!

one bug, the main icons that appear when you scroll from page to page seem to have green markings in them, I don't know whether it's meant to be a cross-hair but it's not working correctly on mine.. apart from that it's great (like the weather!)

You can't use becuse it is not a .theme file

Copy all the files of iPhoneTheme.v.0.2b.zip to \windows directory and "soft reset" (the files must be copied using activesync)

I installed this item. Great. I also installed the Orange theme. But I don't like it anymore. How can I delete / uninstall / change this theme? I want it to get off of my phone. I want my standard T-mobile theme back.... Can I just delete the orange one, or do I need to do a hard reset (again)?

using TF3D Tweak 0.6.7. choose default theme, then delete the theme from your PDA

Hi please some help.... I have installed teh white theme v.2 on Diamond but sometimes when I try to write sms the key pad just blacken-ed ~ simply a black block over where the original key pad should be at.....

The Swiss theme had white squares I think. This theme is made by Nisse. I had a very cool SPB theme "White Dimond" that I asked if someone could try to make.

It came out good.

But if someone would like to try more and make it exact same, if possible, It would be pretty cool and clean :)

Ok, made some modifications...

New in 0.2...

New Scope icon (more visible than the old...)
New clock (not completely satisfied with it.. tell me what you think)
Changed background a little


I'm not going to change the Music menus (I don't use the Diamond Music player anyway, It stinks! Use S2P instead.. It rocks!)

And the theme Is what it Is, No special requests!
( Well maybe, If you come up with a great idea :p :rolleyes: )

I find it but what must i do with it to change it? (ups I think it manila editor makes) and so it mean that our background is one square in real 3D view...
But I find a file with squares i think it's Windows\P_BG.png or Windows\L_BG.png may be it's not correct.
Another one question - both of this files have lines (like borders) so may be it will be need to make whem

Disable tf3d, copy the files, and enable tf3d again.

How to disable TF3D in order to copy some manilla files in Windows directory? I unchecked it from Today Screen, I did a soft-reset and still I can't copy manilla files in Windows... I also checked, the files aren't "read-only"

Is there any other method to disable TF3D besides unchecked from Today screen?

This happens depending on witch manila 'theme' you have before copying the files to windows....
I made Vista Menu based on the Black theme...

So in order to get it right, just install the black theme and then copy the Vista manila files... :D

i'm using the latest version ofTF3d editor (0.6.7) but the start menu and the X button task manager still remain black to matter what theme i change to. However, switching off TF3D the colours become the correct colour. switching back to TF3D, it becomes black again. any solutions?

We can't put pictures in the background on all the tabs.. yet!
Thanx to Sushilange an DMAN666 we can do what we are doing right now ( with manila editor)...
I'm sure that they are working on how to edit the other manila files ( not only the picture files)...

There might be a solution to this, but I just dont have the time to research it right now ...
In the 'Orange theme' there is a background image in all tabs... have to find what manila file is responsible for that..
Or make a custom theme based on the Orange... :rolleyes:

True true.. but if you go through the trouble to type anything, why not help him out a bit and suggest to use the search option. This is not the same guy with the same question.

Might i add, me being the noob I am, the search is very nice, but u can't find anything when you're new. I did try to search at first.. It searched the whole damn site. Then I found out there were forum and thread searches too.. OMG yes i'm a noob, but it'll come with time. The senior members and mods can't/shouldn't be too impatient with newbies..

But I completely understand what you are trying to say and yes it is frustrating and will always be a part of every forum.. Let's not discuss this any further.. it reminds me of other threads here haha..

Thought I'd have a quick go at this myself. Think it turned out ok for a 1st attempt....

I included both wallpapers so you can choose whichever one you like best. I knocked them up quickly with photoshop and images from the web. All icons used are from icon packs downloaded from iconspedia.com, which is really handy as you can download the icons in .png format and in predefined sizes including 64x64 and 128x128. Credit to Sandro Pereira and IconShock for the icons.

As usual, unzip the files and copy all the manilla files to the windows directory using Total Commander. If asked to overwrite, click "Yes To All". Make sure you put the wallpapers somewhere more accesible (like \My Documents) if you are going to use them!

All icons used are from icon packs downloaded from iconspedia.com, which is really handy as you can download the icons in .png format and in predefined sizes including 64x64 and 128x128. Credit to Sandro Pereira and IconShock for the icons.

As usual, unzip the files and copy all the manilla files to the windows directory using Total Commander. If asked to overwrite, click "Yes To All". Make sure you put the wallpapers somewhere more accesible (like \My Documents) if you are going to use them!

I dont think it matters but I chose to download the images at the specific sizes as I didn't know how well the editor would resize them, whether it would distort them at all etc. This way I knew that what I saw on my screen was what was going onto my pda.

If you're using the Manila Editor it tells you anyway. They're 64x64 and 128x128 respectively.

i have same strange experience using Manila editor.
as you can see in the att. the images that i like
to import are always too big. :confused:
cant understand why, anyone can help me?

*****my procedure is:
open files in manila editor, extract the image that i like to modify
manage it with photoshop, eventually resize (respecting the original dimensions of course)
replace again the result in manila editor.........and images are too big.

edit: jut now try to only move out one file from manila editor and put it on my desktop, than move back.....the image is bigger than before.
pls help, i cant figure out my own themes!!

It will not change your version of manila, thats only the config files and the image files of the manila. So you can stay with your actual manila version.

The Chunghwa.tsk file is also included, just changed it in the today settings.

I created a themes folder in internal storage and put all themes in there.. Then in TF3D 0.67 click path... then internal storage twice (to open it up) then click on "themes" folder once and click ok. You should then have all the themes in the drop down menu underneath the "Path" button.

The theme should stay even after a soft reset

Just change the extension of your file from .zip to .theme and copy it on your devise. You can now chnage the theme through TF3D

I'm don't know how to make a theme file. Sorry. Just copy the files to the Windows directory using Total Commander and restart TF3D from the Settings>>Today>>Items menu, or do a soft reset. Due to my lack of experience with the Manila Editor at the time of making this theme, I inadvertently only replaced the Icons, and had previously had the vista theme running, so thats why I got the Vista orb slider. It looks quite nice though so I left it as it is.

Is quite simple... a .theme files is a .zip file with manilla files in it... To view all structure and the names of all the manilla file within a .theme, just rename .theme file inti .zip and unzip the final result...

I have tired the following steps :

1. Install TF3D config sucessfully on XDA diamond
2. try to install Black HTC theme, it delete around 1056 files and install some files on it, restart my XDA, then it fail to show me HTC black theme which i was trying to install.

Now, it fail to start TouchFlo3D and TF3D also, when i start, Im getting following errors :

Turn off TF3D on PPC - if that does'nt work - copy the files into a new folder on your internal storage and use Total commander/or a decent file explorer tool to copy the files from your internal storage to the windows folder...

I have forgot something:

If you changed the theme, you have to change the following registry-key by yourself until i fixed it in a new version of tf3d config:

HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu

ManilaCustomTexture: "\Windows\stBackImage.png"

Then your Startmenu-background is right.

Another thing: If you changed your theme and after soft-reset for example the black bars or blue bars are already there, then you just have to go to Start->Settings->Home. There you see, that the right Theme is activated, but you have to choose another one, click on OK and then you open the settings again and select the right one (HTC Black or O2 theme). Now everything is working fine :-)

Not everybody has this problem, but if you have it, you now know how to fix it.

Congrats Tobias1.Nice work for a first release & contribution

IMHO -This dark-wine red theme is well balanced - classy stylish and contemporary timeless. Makes the Diamond UI looking more elaborated- expensive kind of.


As such : Highly reccomended to the crowd If you want to change your lay-out, but not go back to old Manila UI when using other _theme releases (some are based on old Manila where you do not have the Weather _choose country/city alphabet functionality)

I'm trying to install the dark red theme as it looks brilliant, have extracted the rar file and copied the folder to internal storage, don't seem to be able to install though, have tried with T3TD config, copying the files to Windows etc, what am I doing wrong?

yeah the black.33 is cool because the its the extended one with the boxes centered...

but the call tabs are missing...

i i cant get them back without crashing the clockscreen...

the normal extended that i have downloaded a few days ago that i still have on the device have all text in black... on black background...

Just want to report a problem when I tried to apply the theme to the phone.

I downloaded the darkblue (in .rar) theme and then made it back to .zip format (simply renaming .rar to .theme doesn't work). Then I renamed it to darkblue.theme and opened TF3D Config and applied the darkblue theme.
The program crashed in midway right after it finished "deleting manila files" and said something like .net 3.5 was not installed or something. The fact is .net 3.5 was in the ROM (SwiftBlade's cooked rom).

I think the problem doesn't cost me a lot. I immediately soft reset the phone and found out that it restored back to the default theme. But it scared me out of shit because the program crashed right after it completed "deleting the files". I thought it deleted everything and didn't put the files back before it crashed.

Anyone encounted the same thing as me? Can somebody tried applying the "darkblue.rar" from the TF3D Config program instead of replacing them manually? To do that, you have to unrar the file and zip it back to .zip file and then rename it back to .theme. It should work according to a fellow diamondier's instruction. But mine failed.

hi,
due to the fact that this is not a theme (i mean .theme), but just a list of files that can change icons, you need to move the files in att. in to your Diamond windows folder.
you need Total commander or similar, remember to exclude TouchFLO3D before copy the files.

open Total commander, select manila files in att. and move to Windows folder in you Diamond
re activate TouchFLO3D and you will see the new icons.

1- esclude tf3d: open setting menu on diamond, find out TODAY and select it.
uncheck TouchFLO3D and close setting menu'.
2- move via Total Commander or similar the file in the post from your pc to your diamond windows folder
3-re check again TouchFLO3D in diamond setting menu TODAY.
if you need help to know your mobile, just check the instruction book :p
if you need to download Total commander, just try google search.....it's free and you can download also lenguage pack for your reference.

Note: Also only inverting the clock background colours and adding transparency produce some weird behaviour. It looks broken and cuts bits of it. I thought it was just a matter of keeping the same size and format to be able to change this. I guess I'm wrong. Any insight would be nice.

When I installed my manila files as a .theme under Diamond TF3D Config 0.6.7 the slider size was messed up for me. Worked fine when I manually copied the _manila file to /windows.

I'm assuming that when you edited it you did not increase its pixel size.
There should be transparent space around the slider image.

Strange. I installed an application called SmileySMS and then the contact folder appeared (not the log) After uninstalling this program I still have the folder, however, when you want to add a name you see the icon from the orange theme. weird.
It seems the problem with black.33 is when you enable both folders and not only one.
Does anyone know how to activate the contact folder manually?

Didn't change the size and the image has all the original transparency. Saved as PNG 24. Weird.

- thin tab bar with transparency and color graduation
- active tab with small brigthness

How could you change the colors on Comm Manager, i.e. switch on? Which files need to be changed?

That gold theme.... cruchot.1, I know you must be reading all the beggings. The girl in the background is stunning but if you feel like, you can just give us the rest saving the girl for yourself :-).

Anyway, I think you're an artist or something because you made the gold really like shiny gold in the theme. What about gold with different colors? White gold (platinum?), red gold, bluish gold, etc.
