HTC Black .tsk has a green button/background color.

I have tried to make one with black, but it didn't turn out good.

Anyone besides Nisse that will try or has done changes? Black/Silver to go with the Black_Diamond_Theme would be great.

after starting TF3D config, navigate to "Appearace" and select "Path". Now select the folder containing your .theme file and press "OK".

You should be able to selct your theme file with the dropdown-menu.

There is no sliding tab, just the 11 icons (128x128) and the 11 icons (64x64).
I think it could be a good complement to the amazing Gold Theme (all the icons and windows have been changed on it :eek::eek:).
For the curious, I used a tuto on Photoshp here http://www.creabar.com/tutoriaux,bling-bling.html.
As you can see the big job was already done :rolleyes:
Small adjustment on some icons and that's it.

So enjoy

PS : for White Gold lover's you can use the same files (in PNG and put theme in Gray scale "Et voila" :p )

I've seen the same problem when i make themes for TF3D ....
It's not only the font thats wrong... Notice the TF3D menu is still there!

Normally the menu disappears down and is hidden...

sorry to say, but I don't know what the problem is... I guess it's a manila file that's wrong somehow :confused:

I solved it by using some other manila files when i make my themes...

I'm glad you like the theme.
You can do "platine" icons by editing maniliia files with manilia editor, saving them as PNG and open them with paintshop pro or photoshop and just save them as grey scale (not in 16m colors). there is no need to do the entire tuto.
And by the way, it's not Spanish but French:D

Hi, i tink Rocky50 may face the same situation as me. i tried all that but in the 1st place, the attached zip file (diamond jevelery 0.2) contain alot of manila files, not the usual *theme file. So how can we make the gold theme 'appear' in our TF3D? Do we have to extract the 30 over manila file? i have no prob loading and changing to other theme like O2Blue and Vodafone Red. Pls assist. Previously I used TF3D config setup 0.6.7 to install Vodafone theme.
Now I have upgraded my ROM to 1.93.707.1 WWE.
Can I still use TF3D config setup 0.6.7 to install Vodafone or other theme?
Or I cannot install any theme on this latest rom?

it isn't about hiding the zip extension.
you've gotta rename the file on your pc by deleting the '.zip' part out of the file name

Hello, can anyone tell me if there are developers who are changing the colors only of the top and bottom bars? I don't like the original HTC black ones, and have changed mine to dark red (in Start-settings-today I selected Guava Bubbles) which also changes the background color in Contacts and SMS lists to red - I really like this effect.) I would love to have a theme identical to
Guava Bubbles, but in Purple or Amethyst. Must this be made by someone or is it possible for me to do it by using Manila Editor or some other program? Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm not an expert. I have already searched but have not found anything. Thanks a lot!!

In manila go to Settings --> home wallpaper --> if prompted to change to default, choose no --> navigate to the path where this image is stored and select it. That is it! ;)

I'm spanish so when you talk about "Internal storage" I doubt between the "internal memory card" (named "memoria interna") and a directory in the internal memory of the diamond called "internal storage".

In this last one, there is only a directory named "Program files" that contains the "RSS Hub" (no other file or directory). Should I create a directory called "CONTENT\wallpaper" inside? (no... I've tried and doesn't work)

I extracted the O2 blue theme in my pc in a folder....later i transfered the O2 blue folder with the extracted contents into a theme folder in my internal storage...then as advised i used the TF3D config 0.6.7 version to apply the theme but when i choose the path to my theme folder nothing shows up to select in the drop box....my rom is 1.93.707.1 WWE....is it related to my rom or i am doing something wrong...please advise in details how to get to use these cool themes....i really want to...thanks....

Ok. After that I'm supposed to go to Start | Settings and look for a "wallpaper" icon that I can't find. Instead I've got a "Today" icon.

If I go into it I'll find a list of themes. I have selected "Htc_new_Default". If I change that theme the wallpaper of my Diamond will change, but in order to appear the Gold wallpaper it should be a .tsk file placed in the windows dir.

I don't have that .tsk file so... nothing to do.

I also have an option that says "use this image as background" and a "Browse..." button. Yes, I can check this option and select the .jpg file but that does nothing on my Diamond.

As long as can't find the solucion I'll go back to the HTC black theme. At least it works and looks great (thanks to sushilang!! keep up the good work!)

could we see some 1.93-rom-extracted or modified themes?

I Just installed the Black Theme on my 1.93 Rom. I did not test for long, because everything became slow in the TouchFlo. I restored to the original (vodafone). Because this Theme uses a very small font in dark grey color i just can use mostly white Wallpapers.

Is there any chance to olny change the fontcolor, so that i can use some more dark wallpapers?

I dont know if the manila editor works on 1.93rom but the theme is called jewelry and is in the theme thread. my walls are posted in the wallpaper thread named diamonds.zip

If it's a .theme file then you need to put it somewhere on your internal storage and use TF3D configurator, (select appearance tab, then click on path and select the folder where you put the theme and click apply.

If it's a bunch of Manilla Files (like mine!) - then either open the file on your pc and copy the manila files into the windows folder OR copy the file containing the manila files onto your internal storage and use Total Commander or another decent file explorer to copy the files into your windows directory on your PPC.

I always turn off TF3D before I add files to the windows directory and then switch it back on when they're transfered. Hey presto, new theme's.

I would recommend using TF3D configurator to "restore default" theme if you're unhappy with anything you've dropped into your windows folder.

It is possible to get a theme of clock like the original theme was. The current one is gold writung but it has an opaque washed out background, the original one with the white background keeps eveything looking clean.

Here is a new theme I made from the HTC original one.

Some slight changes made it more "3D" :
- persepctive on icons
- small shadow under icons
- thin tab bar with transparency and color graduation
- active tab with small brigthness

Hope you 'll enjoy it.

you won't see manila files in your theme folder (internal storage) with TF3D config only ".theme" files. in your case, your using manila files so you should use the "other option" ....extract all the files from O2 Blue theme into the windows folder on your diamond either by your PC with copy and paste or via your diamond. (do not put them in a folder). and no, if you do this it's not difficult to get your normal theme back (just go to apply default in TF3D config and everything will be back to normal)

Right, i am gonna add some more things before I upload the BUUF theme from post #917 but i've been busy using the same artist's GANT icons (big-up to the artist for the icons)

This is my biggest theme so far, i've skinned virtually every page in TF3D. Please give feedback or advice or feel free to request any modifications... (i am trying a differnet slider and stuff on the People page so i'll post any changes)

Thanks for ur advise...so i have to copy all the contents extracted into the windows folder in my device....wow thts a lot of files to paste...so after that how can i apply the theme....

I tried Gold Theme V2 and it's the best theme i've seen! Using Black gloss bars and a nice wallpaper I can't find anything better. Good job cruchot!

However, when I slide out the keyboard on my PRO instead of the normal action screen with the icons I get this:




I tried to switch TRUE or FALSE the registry key: HCU\Software\HTC\Manila\EnableLandscape but it didn't worked... I am guessing that the files for manila landscape are missing from the theme. Besides when I was using Carbon Theme, landscape was working...

hi...sorry another questions....after i extracted the files from the O2 blue theme zip file the size is around 11 mb...so when i transfer all these files to windows folder it will take 11 mb space so i can install only a few themes as the internal memory of HTC is around 80mb....

Seeing as the forum search tells me there are zero results for anything containing "1.93" can someone explain what the problem is with themes on the 1.93 ROM.

I have seen this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2599076&postcount=721) with a fix so I assume that the problem was that you couldn't save pictures? Is that the only problem as is it working ok if you apply this fix?

Installation instructions:
Download attached zip-file

Connect Diamond with Active Sync!

AFAIK, the theme *MUST* be in a folder named "themes" ;)
in any other folder I was unable to see any theme in the menu

No need, just use the Diamond TF3D Config-Appearance-Restore default-Soft Reset and you will have original manila.

i'm trying to install the stunning jewellery theme but, as already happened with black diamond theme, after a successfull installation my diamond get stuck on the music tab and doesn't go further. As suggested by Nisse i deleted some files but result is always the same. I believe the problem is in the music tab as the otherseems to be all working.

Hope someone hashints to help as i'm really eager to start personalising my diamond!

using an xda ignito and when I switch from the garish blue O2 original to the themed touchflo, I lose the additional features in the music tab (the extra buttons to choose album/artists etc) and the album text cannot be seen

except for that one issue, this is great. I'm stuck with o2 blue till then, unless I change my ROM....and I have to be honest - except for the colour the O2 ROM I have does not seem bad at all
