Can I change Theme on XDA Ignito? I'm trying to do it now but doesn't really up for it.... Any suggestions?

I managed to put it on, but if I'm at home tab, and I press Programs on the right bottom corner, the tab doesn't move to the programs tab! Any idea?

Hi,

I have managed to change the theme successfully on my XDA Ignito, and use the TF3D config to tailor everything to my liking, but i'm really stuck with the browser....

When launching Opera via TF3D it defaults to m.yahoo.com, and i can't change this. i have changed the settings on Opera> Start Page> User-defined and set this as google, but it still will not change when i click from TF3D.

If anyone could shed some light i would be most greatful!:)

You don't have to estract anything if you have .cab, .zip or .exe, just put it into your diamond and click on it. Your Diamond does all by itself.

Hi all

i have installed the Diamond TF3D Config 0.6.7 and the black theme pack.

everything was fine after i done a soft reset, the bottom bar on the phone where it say contacts and programs. on the home screen is grey.

i had this in black but how do i change it i have tired reinstalling the black theme, but after a soft reset it goes back to grey.

is there a setting or reg edit i can use.

Hi guys,

I got a vario 4 by t-mobile and really like the original black HTC theme...
But whene i put this on my phone with 'TF3d config 0.6.7' everything works perfect, but when i watch the music player in the touch flow screen and i want to see all my music or when i want to see the details of one song, the text is dark grey and the HTC background is black... hard to read as you can understand....
Anyone got a solution??

after instalation on calendar weekdays aren't showed on my dutch rom
and after scrolling the menu twice it completly locks , had to install my old theme again ..
after retrying it seems that the scrolling hangs on " people "

Right, i am gonna add some more things before I upload the BUUF theme from post #917 but i've been busy using the same artist's GANT icons (big-up to the artist for the icons)

This is my biggest theme so far, i've skinned virtually every page in TF3D. Please give feedback or advice or feel free to request any modifications... (i am trying a differnet slider and stuff on the People page so i'll post any changes)

So the suffix " Extended" will not be added to the themes anymore.

I've been trying to figure out how to hide call history with your tool--I presume it is the TF3D config? If you can point the way I'd much appreciate it!

Hi Guys

I have a TP from Vodafone and wanted the HTC Black theme as the red one was getting on my nerves.

After searching the forums I could not find anything on the Raphael forums so searched the Diamond forums and thought the Diamond thingy should work on Raphael too.

I downloaded the Diamond 3D Config 0.6 version and then downloaded the HTC Black theme and configured it to use the Black theme and guess what - it worked.

Well almost! There are a few problems. The tabs sometime freeze when scrolling. When I press the Home button, the screen moves to the Home screen, but the tab doesnt necessarily move, have to move it manually.

Secondly, in the Weather tab, when I click on the 5 day forecast, the font seems to be in black rather than white and this makes it impossible to read.

Apart from these couple of issues everything else seems to work fine.

The handset details are -

Vodafone UK handset
ROM - 1.90.161.5 WWE
ROM Date - 09/03/08
Radio Version - 1.02.25.19
Protocol Version 52.33.25.17U

just download manila.zip, unzip it and copy into windows
This will overwrite the original manila.exe
If u want to get the original back, just delete the manila.exe from windows

What I have done was copying the files to Internal Storage\Themes
And imported the path trough TF3D Config and selected the o2 blue theme. It started to install but gave a alert that i must have at least 20mb free space. I pressed ok and began installing. Now, after reboot, im not able to start Touch3DFlo neither TF3D config.

When I use ActiveSync I see that my \ drive almost full is. 3,53 MB of the 85,3 is in use. When I enter the folder and look for all folders and files, they are 16,9 MB

How can I solve this problem ? tyvm already.

I have read that I can not install these themes on my diamond because of the 1.93 ROM

i have now a theme (called coller tabs.CAB) installed this works fine or is this because it is an CAB file..

In the clock thread I've posted the Sprint clock some time ago .. (Not from the Sprint Rom)
But I will have a look at the files needed to change the Flip clock to the Sprint clock, and post a new cab for it :)

Original from Sprint.. Only thing I removed are the Sprint-TV tab...

the .theme file is inside the .zip file ... just unpack the zip!

I tryed this new version of sprint theme and is very very nice. But..... I heve a problem with calendar language, I can not put it in Spanish. I have the language file, but how I edit the manila file to change it? Where I put the language file?

just copy 4f93e77f_manila to your windows folder... (not the folder 'es-es', only the manila file...)

on wisbar setting you need to exclude the visibility of the applications.that icon will disappeare.

1. This icon which closes Manilla and then reopens it to disappear.

2. Network and Phone icons are the same as before install, can't work out how to get them like how maxtreme has them in his screen shot, they look much better. Have installed the Vista Portable Dark Edition.skin and it has changed the volume and battery/mem icons but left the others the same, can't suss out how to change that

3. In touch flo the old taskbar icon is still there, any ideas on how to get rid of it? I see it's not present in maxtreme's screen shot.

I'm probably missing something obvious but totally stuck, any help would be appreciated

to remove the network and phone icons you need to go into wisbar settings and untick the "show normal phone icon" box (or something similar) it's a while since i've used wisbar but the you can definately change them within the settings part of wisbar.

Here you go....Two variants: Black and Blue. :)
'Black' is from the default Manila theme.

Disable TF3D.
Both the attached files contain 2 manila files. Take the files from the one you like(Black or Blue) and put(replace) in the Windows directory(using Total Commander or Resco Explorer, not using ActiveSync or WMDC).
Enable TF3D again.

go into settings, Tasks, ADD one, Manila.exe, choose to HIDE the task. apply it.

And im loving the themes and WisBar help. My TouchPro looks so cool now. I wish Landscape mode worked with the Sprint theme, but I can live without for now. Maybe someone can make it such that the old fashioned landscape mode is loaded when keyboard is out? Better than the garbled Sprint theme we get now.

Has anyone taken a stab at a Cancer theme? My wife has her Touch Pro with the Royal Purple ribbon on the Home screen (which represents Pancreatic Cancer), but the icons are just the subtle 3D. It would be great to have cancer ribbons as integrated into the icons for the TF3D. Breast cancer is fine as well (the ever popular pink ribbons).

And im loving the themes and WisBar help. My TouchPro looks so cool now. I wish Landscape mode worked with the Sprint theme, but I can live without for now. Maybe someone can make it such that the old fashioned landscape mode is loaded when keyboard is out? Better than the garbled Sprint theme we get now.

Is quite simple... a .theme files is a .zip file with manilla files in it... To view all structure and the names of all the manilla file within a .theme, just rename .theme file inti .zip and unzip the final result...

Is there a legal problem or just because TF3DConfig doesn't work with this Rom ?

I read more than 50 pages from this thread to find a solution to my problem (Can not make appear another today creen but HTC Black when I change themes :mad:) but I can't find solutions.

I only saw this post :
Today i release a new version of my tool and of the themes.

Fixed: Background image after restore was not changed
Fixed: black font color on startmenu (only on t-mobile theme it have to be black)
New: Select path where your themes stored. default: internal storage\themes.
fixed: sometimes the windows mobile theme (htc black.tsk, o2 theme.tsk, etc.) not changed correct.

You tell that you fixed the background image trouble...

What can I do ? Flash the Diamond with a new Rom or should it work with the Rom 1.93 installed ??

thanks a bunch for the wonderful tool. I've tweaked around and you've done a grand job. Now, on the side of the appearance, I would like to install the carbon theme. I follow the instructions but I don't seem to get it right. The problem is that when I try to select the right folder for the *.theme file, I click, but nothing happens. The only soft key that is working in that screen is cancel. So this, I can't get any themes in the list to be installed. Any suggestions? I'm using Vauss rom v3.1

@ Johnny : I don't make tab, just Icon Tab and you've got the icon "missed calls" on the theme : the second phone icon with the "!".

If your manilla don't have a missed call tab try the Raphael manilla.

i downloaded the diamond tf3d tool but when i click on it it brings up an error message "An unexpected error has occurred in diamond tf3d config.exe select quit then restart this program.

cant change the theme. what am i doing wrong or is this a problem of sprint touch diamond?

for changing the theme of TouchFlo3D you need Diamond TF3D Config (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749) version 0.6.7 or higher! Please do not use old themes anymore!

Works with the following ROMs:

All ROMs based on 1.37 and TouchFlo3D 1.0.1630.23
All other versions not tested! Please let me know if it works on other versions!
Not work on:

All ROMs which not have TF3D included (You can change theme, but you can't use the restore-function!)
All 1.93 ROMs
Installation instructions:
Download attached zip-file
Extract the zip-file on your PC
Connect Diamond with Active Sync!
Create a new directory "Themes" on the Internal Storage (4 GB) of your Diamond or use any other folder
Copy the extracted theme-file to "Internal Storage\Themes" or any other folder
Disconnect Diamond from PC
Run Diamond TF3D Config
Change theme and have fun! :-)

Yeah that's the 'main' ones. There are a few more but you hardly notice.

If you decompress those cab's, those manila files cover the ones on the home screen and all the pop-up menu's including programs.

Can we please get all the Manila files in a ZIP file too? I would love to make a two different tones of pink and a light blue myself. Or is there any way to extract the data from the CAB files?

The file you want is called MSCEInfen.exe, it is in the .zip - You can use this to open and decompress cabs to their original files. See screenshot below:

Somehow after applying the HTC Black theme (I have a Vodafone branded phone and don't want to flash a different rom) my top and bottom bars have a kind of shiny look instead of plain black. I attached a pic to illustrate. I mean the part where the start menu and taskbar is, and the manila keys (mine say Telefoon and live!)

Can anyone make a cab that changes that? Or is there maybe an easier way? I've tried using Manila Editor but I can't seem to change the attributes of the manila files on my Diamond
