Are there any "CAB" file themes available for the diamond? I have tried and tried to download themes reading the instructions here, but I cant seem to get it. Cab files or tsk files would just be a lot easier with no mistake. Can someone please help me? I have the Sprint CDMA version diamond.

Hey mate, that's looking good. Can I please ask you to clarify which files specifically you used for the Sprint clock? I know you mentioned NisseDILLIGAF's clock but I tried his and the clock was totally opaque and I couldn't see the background wallpaper through it. Your screenshot seems to show that your clock is semi transparent.

Anyone notice any bugs with the Diamond Compact and Phone Pad keyboards after installing this theme?

I did a fresh hard reset and only installed the TF3D Config and this theme to finally troubleshoot the source of my problem and I noticed that both of the mentioned built-in keyboards stop working properly. For instead of cycling through the characters available on each key with each successive quick tap it just types the number or symbol assigned to that key. I'm using a Sprint Diamond with stock everything for the moment.

Can someone point to a the proper registry settings that need are getting edited incorrectly?

On another note, I did remove the Tweaks.xml file from the TF3D folder as per recommendations from the developer if problems loading the app were noticed. I don't really want to mess with my registry during the week as my professional life and well-being depend on a working phone, I can test and tweak during the weekends. :)

The only other bug I'm noticing is that if you change pages through some form of shortcut like tapping the "Programs" softkey in the home tab it wont scroll to the icon in the bottom bar to follow the window. I've had this happen when using the "back" hardware button as well.

EDIT: I kept disecting this thing with a fresh install and I found one more annoying bug. In the music tab when you tap on library it doesn't present the menu to switch genres, album, artist, etc, as it does on the regular Sprint TFlo3D. Not a huge issue for me as I only load up a few long electronic music sets and I'm off and they aren't that organized anyways, but it would be nice to have for when I do sync up some actual albums.

Other that that everything else is GREAT!!! None of that cheesy Sprint flashyness and mandatory Sprint Music anc TV icons/tabs, gaudy colors or anything. Just plain minimalist black goodness. :) Its performance is fine for the time being as well!! I would like to fix the 3 mentioned things though.

I just changed my theme back to this clock and theme and was a wee bit confused as I have so many different theme files but I think this is it. Just copy all files into your windows directory.

Hi i just got a question on those themes...

A friend of mine bought a diamond, but branded on orange. So the TF2D is very customized and not very well.... he saw first my diamond and its TF3D and he wanted this one in fact...

So we get the TF3D config prog.. and the original HTC black theme. I installed it on his phone.. and in fact it's ok. Except the fact that he has got no more space on the storage ! not the 4GB of course but the memory space, despite of the fact that we put the .theme file on the 4GB...

So i presume TF3Dconfig has copied a lot of files in the memory but is there a way not to do that ? Why the htc black original theme is so much bigger than the orange one ??? strange... because the orange one looked very poor graphically...

So is there a way for him to have the original HTC black theme, without flashing his phone due to warranty issues... :(

Im looking at going to a custom rom and the creator takes out the Sprint theme with the TV, navigation tabs. what Im hoping to do is before I flash get the files out of minilla out so I can just drop the files back in on the new rom and retain the actual tabs. This is superb, however I have the Sprint Touch Diamond & I absolutely hate the yellow, the clock and calender items changed to the blue focus...Is there a way you can make the icon that indicates the number of messages (email) can change to the same blue?

Help needed if possible.

I have a Vodafone branded Touch Pro and wanted to get to the origional HTC Black theme so have used the HTC Black Theme and Diamond TF3D Config application to get this done.

Looks great but I have a few errors and questions if anyone can help.

1. On the Sound Settings the text is black and since the background is also it is unreadable (see the pic below).

2. Same as above but on the 5 Day weather forecast screen. Also coming from this screen back to the Today's Forecast Screen takes about a minute.

3. My internet tab is plain and just has the bookmarks on it (See Below) is there a way to get it back to the HTC standard style with the Glode etc?
If so is this just by Flashing the ROM to an original HTC ROM?

4. As first 2 from the Add Program screen (From the Programs Tab)

I install red one using cab and I lost shortcut to calendar from main screen. When I am tapping on displayed appointement buckground turned red and nothing happened. So I uninstall red made SR and still do not have shortcut. I got WWE 1.93 with Rom 1.25.05. Does anybody got same problems or any ideas how to fix it?

Installation instructions:
Download attached zip-file
Extract the zip-file on your PC
Connect Diamond with Active Sync!
Create a new directory "Themes" on the Internal Storage (4 GB) of your Diamond or use any other folder
Copy the extracted theme-file to "Internal Storage\Themes" or any other folder
Disconnect Diamond from PC
Run Diamond TF3D Config
Change theme and have fun! :-)

I have extracted the cab downlad which turns out to be a zip. Expanded i get an xml file called _setup.xml and 7 other files with numerical extensions (00tweaks.003, DIAMON~1.000 TO 006 and ICSHAR~1.005).

I made a themes folder in the internal storage and copied the above to it.

i go to internal storage and click on the setup file - opera opens, the file loads into it and the window goes white (chromes are there, just an empty window) nothing happens after that.

until I quit.

astrosfan1 @ You can't change themes on your HTC Elf. This program it's pnly for diamond and touch Pro. If you like TouchFLO 3D you can download the Manila 2D which it's like this program. here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398173

i made a gray focus cab by decompiling the blue focus cab. it works fine but it doesnt change the globe being selected from opera. saw it mentioned being changed to red but no mention of what the manila files are. anyone know? here is the gray focus btw if anyone wants it.

Your Zip program is associated with .CAB files, hence it converts .CAB files into .Zip files upon download. Make sure you uncheck .CAB files in either WinZip or WinRAR program properties (options/settings/ingtegration if you're using WinRAR) and download .CAB file again.

ATT HTC Fuze user. I'm having an issue where I've loaded the Vodafone theme and I love it, but the start bar and lower menu bar will not change f-ing color no matter which theme I change it to with the stock options. It was green today and has been since I got it, then after I loaded up the Vodaphone theme, it turned a teal color....I've tried moving the .tsk file around and nothing changes... Am I missing something?

FIXED: Had to hard reset the phone and start over, looks like some config got fubar'd during my initial setup. Everything works great now and I'm loving the Vodaphone theme!!

It seems it has been asked before but no answer as of yet-
Installed the Htc Black theme in post #1 and it is awesome except for the following:
-When 5 day weather is selected the text is not visible because it is black
-When selecting any other function from the 5 day weather page absolutely nothing happens for at least 30 seconds, more like a minute sometimes then all is well
-Another place there is black lettering is in the "all programs" area where you add new programs. Hit the "+" sign and it will be apparent (thanks eas125).


I'm not asking someone if they can fix this, but rather to show me how.

Anyone out there have an answer?

Ok i finally did it. but when i went to put in files that are Windows Theme File i can put into my phone and open it using Diamond TF3D Config. but when i installed the gold theme, i can't scroll the buttons and it just gt stuck at title with no more scroll buttons and an opaque view of the main screen. anyone gt any remedy? i had to do a default setting to get my original settings back. and another thing is how to open manila files? tried to unzip n put in themes file but no response from the Diamond TF3D Config. weird. and some files gt a number of manila files so don't really know how does i really work. sorry abt it! thanks~~!!

Just got a Fuze a couple days ago, got rid of the ATT bloatware, installed Diamond TF3D config and loaded the HTC Black theme.

I could not find the Black Theme without Call History anywhere. It is mentioned, but where can it be downloaded? All the Black Themes I found have Call History. Or can it be removed from the Today screen afterwards?

I really don't like the green highlights so I did the regedit to change the Large StartMenu to grey. Then I downloaded and installed the Grey Focus cab. But the icons in the Programs, Settings and other menus are still highlighted in green when I choose them. Is there any way to change the color of the highlight to grey as well?

I am asking these questions after reading everything I could find, I did not see the answers to these.

It seems a little weird that there are only qct files here, shouldn't there be any mode9 files there also, I mean getting the slider there you must have done something other that just put new pictures on the manila files. One other thing in the aplications shorts tab in landscape mode there is a shortcut to VZAppZone, which doesn't work. Where can I change that shortcut? Mine takes like 5 minutes. It has to delete everything and then copy over a thousand files.

Unless you can re-compile the entire Manila interface into much, much less files then this is the only way to replace themes.

One question - i noticed that all the tabs besides the Home tab have a gray BG. I love everything except that gray BG, can I change it somehow to another BG?

Perhaps you could consider making same theme but with different BG in other tabs.. right now they look like they're missing something ;)

You can't use becuse it is not a .theme file

Copy all the files of iPhoneTheme.v.0.2b.zip to \windows directory and "soft reset" (the files must be copied using activesync)

I tried the above to get the iphone theme to work but it is still showing the same vista .theme that i installed using TF3d Config how do i get it to work and does it matter that i have all the iphone theme files sitting in my windows directory?

is there a .theme file for the iphone theme.v.0.2b?

Bleeman: When you select your directory by highlighting it, you just hit the ok button and the files should appear in the drop box. I get that far...

I followed the instructions for installing the themes, but my Fuze looks like it's actually installing the files and has a progress bar, but after reset, still the same theme remains. I have tried this on several ROMs with several themes and all do the same thing. It almost feels like the files are write protected or something. :mad:

Does anyone have any helpful suggestions? I've been playing with this for 3 days already! :confused:

BTW: Why do some of the themes have only 1 file according the the TF3D Configuration and some have several hundred? :rolleyes:

After changing the theme to Black, Blue, or Red. TF3D runs very slow and the weather animations to sun, clouds, and rain doesnt show up at allll. I should have not done my cell is wayyyyyyyyyy slow.

Here is a new theme I made from the HTC original one.

Some slight changes made it more "3D" :
- persepctive on icons
- small shadow under icons
- thin tab bar with transparency and color graduation
- active tab with small brigthness

Hope you 'll enjoy it.

I got the feeling its a bit slower now, but anyways, no errors no crashes nothing. Workes fine with HTC Black theme.

I've prepared some cab files that will change the colours of the 'green touch focus' that appears around and behind, say for instance, when you touch your clock. It will also change the menu 'touch focus' colour.

So far we've got Orange, Red, Blue, Purple and Yellow.

Do you really switch themes that much? Even if you do it once a day, if you set it to switch, say before you get in the shower, it will be done by the time you get out. 5 minutes really isn't that long. I'd also say pick a theme with less content if you don't like the wait.

So switch back. The program offers the option to do so. Or better yet, make sure you have the tweaks enabled, and pick another them. Generally, the more files it contains = the slower the performance will be.

I pulled those 36 files out of his theme, disabled TF3D and copied the files into my windows directory. Restarted TF3D and I still have my old landscape.

so i dl zipper file and extract it in some windows folder than i connect my diamond with computer after that i go to internal storage and make a new folder name ''themes'' . After i do that i copy the extracted files from windows folder and paste it to folder ''themes'' . My question is how can i run my Diamond TF3D Config if i didnt instal it i just copyed files and when i do instal Diamond TF3D Config i go to path and make it to internal storage\themes and press ''ok''. I have tried like heck to install this to my Fuze using the NATF 2.3 ROM and have had no success. Any suggestions? I am using the TF3D Config Tool correctly, but everytime I try to install it, when it resets nothing has changed. What am I missing?

I've installed the Vodafone Red theme, and successfully had the flip clock working, however, when I switched to the Dark Red theme, the clock reverts back to the standard Verizon non-flip clock. How do I get the flip clock back with the Dark Red theme?


EDIT: Although this didn't fix the issue, it did give me the flip clock. I just installed the Sprint2FlipClock.cab file. What I wanted was the flip clock that comes with the Dark Red theme (with red numbers), but the Sprint2FlipClock.cab file has black numbers. No biggie, but I would rather fix the issue.

Is there a way where we can change the red highlights to the stock HTC theme colors. The selected tabs and what not so we have a stock Diamond looking theme with the cool landscape mode with this theme? Is there a thread that explains which files are which? Would love to make this theme look more like the stock HTC one...

Which background are you trying to change? The Home screen background? You can do that with the settings tab in TF3D. If you want to change the background for the other tabs, thats a different story.

I've download the blue O2 theme and install it with TF3D Config. All works fine, but i've lost about 30mb of memory storage, so i've only 19mb on internal memory left... Why does it takes so many memory? Is there any way for get more free space, by deleting useless things?

And, if one day, i want uninstall the theme and put my HTC Black theme back, how does i do? Does it will give me back my 30mb storage space?

for changing the theme of TouchFlo3D you need Diamond TF3D Config (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749) version 0.6.7 or higher! Please do not use old themes anymore!

Installation instructions:
Download attached zip-file
Extract the zip-file on your PC
Connect Diamond with Active Sync!
Create a new directory "Themes" on the Internal Storage (4 GB) of your Diamond or use any other folder
Copy the extracted theme-file to "Internal Storage\Themes" or any other folder
Disconnect Diamond from PC
Run Diamond TF3D Config
Change theme and have fun! :-)

Thought I'd have a quick go at this myself. Think it turned out ok for a 1st attempt....

I included both wallpapers so you can choose whichever one you like best. I knocked them up quickly with photoshop and images from the web. All icons used are from icon packs downloaded from iconspedia.com, which is really handy as you can download the icons in .png format and in predefined sizes including 64x64 and 128x128. Credit to Sandro Pereira and IconShock for the icons.

As usual, unzip the files and copy all the manilla files to the windows directory using Total Commander. If asked to overwrite, click "Yes To All". Make sure you put the wallpapers somewhere more accesible (like \My Documents) if you are going to use them!

Sorry if this question has already been answered but i do not have the time to read all posts. What does the restore option do?, I assume that it goes back to the original theme, no?. If so, it means that if you do not have a cooked rom with touchflow included, you are not going to be able to go back to the original them if you change to another one with TF3dConfig?.

Hello again. I have the ROM 1.37.621.2 ESN with radio 1.00.25.04.
My carrier is Movistar (Telefónica in Spain).
Is it possible for me to use the themes, and to restore the original one when I want?.

Another thing, if I won´t be able to restore the original one, I have seen a them called o2blue that seems to be the exact one I have in my Movistar Diamond. I assume I could then try some themes and to restore the old one, maybe I could install o2blue theme, is it this way?.

And the last thing, I would like to have the original theme that comes with the free diamonds, Is it the HTC Black theme?.

See my screenshot - I installed tsowentaskbar3v1.3 and it works great. However, randomly my battery icon either disappears or shows the original icon that comes with stock ROM. In the enclosed screenshot it is missing. If such thing happens, how do I fix it? Is there a way to copy one file to /windows directory to fix this?

So I decided to install theme from current tread and it is OK.
But there is another problem – black on black – black letter on black background in:
Weather tab - 5 day
Programs tab – all programs
Settings tab – sound settings

I have found solution for this problem:
I used m9editor (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=464984)
And changed font color in files responsible for those three tabs.
Programs tab - 22bb3b19_manila
Setting tab - 1f3be060_manila
Weather tab - 72ac571f_manila

If You want my fix follow the instruction:
1) download zip file from: http://www.filedropper.com/blackonblackfix
2) unpack
3) switch off TouchFLO 3D
4) copy files to “Windows” folder in your telephone. (I can not copy files directly from my PC to “Windows” folder, So I created “temp” folder. Copy files to this folder. And use Total Commander CE to copy to “Windows” folder)
5) switch on TouchFLO 3D

In Settings tab – sound settings – there is still little problem after select profile, font change to black… but generally is much more better ;-)

I have tried to install the theme by renaming to .zip and tried to open it with winzip, but it says it has not right format. I thought theme files were just zip renamed files.
Anyway , I will try with another theme, maybe the black diamond one is not right, but it is the one I would like, sniff...

OK, with black carbon seemed to work, The exact error I get with black diamond is: "cannot find central directory", I guess the file was corrupt or something. I will try with the first theme in the post, HTC Black, I hope this is the original black theme.

It works great, all blue things have disapeared with the HTC Black theme. I have also tried the restore option in TF3D config and it also works great, even though I do not have a rom with TF3D included, as the first post says....

So, I see it very secure to try themes as you wish, and then go back to original. I will test the black theme for a while, but I see it a little bit slower than the blue original one, so I think I will restore the original soon.

Another test. I have installed the TF3D v .38, as I had v30 with animations. After that, I installed HTC black theme, and it worked, but the mp3 player does not work properly, if I click on Library, I do not have the opcions to see authors, albums, etc...

Any idea How to solve it? Apart from this, everything is fine and more smooth now. Withou animations, it seems the UI is faster

Here is a new theme I made from the HTC original one.

Some slight changes made it more "3D" :
- persepctive on icons
- small shadow under icons
- thin tab bar with transparency and color graduation
- active tab with small brigthness

Hope you 'll enjoy it.

I suposse you can just rename the file .theme to .zip, disable TF3D in today setup, and copy all files in the .zip file to \windows folder in the devices. This is I guess what TF3D Config does, so you could do it manually.

To uninstall the theme, simply delete all manila files in \windows folder, and the old one will appeare.

I'm having a weird issue with both the black and blue themes. (I haven't tried the red) I love them both but the top start bar and the bottom bar are some crazy brown-orange color. It's not a huge deal but it's a little annoying. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks!

Go in to the 'today' setting in the settings menu. Switch the theme to something else, and then back to black HTC theme and the bars will change to the right colour. I had the same problem.

When I use the HTC black theme from here i get slight delay when moving around Touch flow. However when I use any other theme it works fine and speedy. I am using the performance tweaks too.

I've got a question for users of the gold theme.
I'm using this theme since i have the phone.

But the things that I still miss are the total of the topbar icons. (reception icon)

Also the landscape mode doesn't seem to work properly.
I've got the Juvel version with the diamond slider.

In landscape only 1 icon is gold, the rest is normal white.

I'm new to this so please forgive me. I recently got an HTC Diamond from Sprint and I'm trying to figure out why, when I put a personal picture as my background, the clock went from black to transparent but then randomly went back to black again, covering my picture. Is there some sort of setting that I'm missing or a download I can do to make my clock transparent?

Hi, This is my first post, so excuse me if i make a mistake, despite running through the FAQs.
I downloaded one zip-file font and copied it to the themes folder in my storage card. I am running Elite RC3 ROM package on my Touch Pro. I changed the file extension from .zip to .theme . Then I went to the 'appearance' tab of the Diamond TF3D Config , selected the correct path and selected that theme, then tapped on 'apply'. It said it was doing something to the registry, then deleting files (1054 of them) and said something about Manila too. Then it intalled 5 files, all from that theme package. It rebooted itself and then I reactivated the touch flo from 'today' settings. The theme does not show on my phone. I re-did the whole procedure, and even soft reset-ed my phone, but to no avail. I tried one more theme later, but the same problem!

Can any senior member here help me, in laymen language please. I appreciate it in advance. Thanks! Nothing at all has changed on my appearance, Nothing! There must be something terribly wrong that I have done. Please Help.

I have one problem. I upload this theme in my HTC diamond end open TF3D and open this theme, theme wokrs but when i turn my phone, my Touchflo dont turn to landscape mode, which i see in this theme pictures... What i must to do, that theme work in landscape mode ???? Maybe antoher program ???

I searched through the thread and didn't see any, but has anybody made any Batman themes? If so could you direct me to where I can aquire.

Go to this link and clampi did a whole list of cabs. It's a 75MB download but it's got almost everything people need. And in a folder titled icon and themes is a cool Batman and Superman theme!

hey i got a really big problem, when i save the changes to the diamond tf3d... it starts to eliminate a lot o manila files... i think it was normal... but i got a surprise when my device restarts and doesn`t work it`s dead,i tried a hard reset holding the volume down button + enter button... but nothing happen what can i do??? i think it is a brick or something like that, guys can you give a solution pls??? my device is an htc fuze

hi,
thes are all looking great! tried many of them!
now i want to try to make my own theme.
i have manilla editor. but where can i get all the orininal manila files?
i tried to copy them from the windows folder to my computer but that didn't go that well.. is there a package with all the orininal manilla files?

Maisto - could you point out which Manila files are ONLY used for the clock? I can't find them and this clock is much better for Gold V2.
