I was wondering what sounds people are using for their text messages, as it is right now I'm pretty sick of the stands.

So I want to see the creative work of the XDA Members.

I use the Power Rangers noise, it's nice and high pitched so I can hear it when my device is in the holster.

Me too! XD I was on the living room, with the sound settings set to the minimum, and I heard it!

Because im using Tomals ROM on my Universal, I have those very nice message sounds.
a high pitched sound, then a female voice saying : " you have a new text message ".

I actually just downloaded a sms ringtone pack that has some really good ones in there. specially like the Transformer SMS notification.

I'm currently using the "DOT matrix printer" sound from A1 radio, they got tons of free downloadable mp3's that are short and perfect for alerts.

Been using the Found sound from Metal Gear Solid. (Like when a guard or camera sees you.) It's nice and loud and goes with the CODEC open and close sounds I use for opening the keyboard on my Mogul. Always know the gamers because they're heads turn and say was that from MGS?! Xp

You hear the sound of an arrow (with a note attached) hit someone, they then say 'message for you sir'.
