I don´t get it why people want to use things for something they are not designed for. The Diamond is small and has a lot of features but little space comes up with some disadvantages as there are always some. Designing things is always a task of making compromises. The Diamond is pretty thin so it can´t have a long battery stamina. Ok that´s the way it is and that´s the way I like it. If you need more battery capacity choose another device but don´t make this nice Diamond to bulky, ugly piece of brick!

i cant believe that anyone who likes his diamond is going to buy this ugly piece of s*#t. If you need extra power,just go and buy a spare standard battery! I did. i would rather walk around with an extra tiny battery than a big ungly diamond.

im not sure if there is a reason that the battery cannot be an odd shape?

but a P shaped battery would certainly be big enough to hold a decent amount of juice.

It would probably have serious heat issues and the cost of making a proprietary battery would jack the price up too.

I was thinking about an L or P shaped battery also. he problem is it cant go up because of the camera and it cant go down because thats where the catch for the battery cover is.
