i think in fist you need know abowt hard SPL for gene....
if hard SPL work on you device, it meens that this ROM will work too....

if you have not hard SPL you can't update your pda....
when you reset your device second line it is your SPL....
you need 1.10. Olip for update to a not off roms....

if you see at your phone SPL 1.10. Olip, that is means that you can upgrade you device on my ROM!!!! :D
just connect your device to PC and run update utilite!

I must say the ROM is great, the calculator no longer works but no probelem. My need is the access code option which can lock the PDA/phone when you switch on (not the phone sim code). I just don't want anybody to switch on and get access to my contacts and files etc.
Is there a fix or am I looking in the wrong place START-SETTINGS-PERSONAL?

After all the fixes and installations I have found that the "contacts" label in the lower right corner (can be clicked by button) has been replaced by "activesync".

if you want that i am insert a quickdial to the ROM- i say NO....
if just need in quickdial, search will help to you :)

Sorry for disturbing you for the SIMPLE thing. however, I am facing a problem with the Diamond ROM, i.e. if I create PASSWORD protection at the first time, it will take too longer time to Start up, even, sometimes it will be hanged up. Is there any Fixation for that particular problem?

calculator does not work (try removing the skin)
no transcriber
calander doesnt work so well (the soft buttons cant be set as the calander)
NO JAVA
extra Z drive???
the alphare side bar is not required ... takes away the classiness of the phone
and the worst bit the clock is always in 24 hour format ... u can't covert it to 12 hour format
even the seperator for date is a "." instead of the regukar /

a humble request if u could recreate this great ROM with those added features

I have used and tested all the GENE ROMs available here at xda and i must admit that diamond style by chayn is the best one by a significant margin....

i have been using ur ROM for over 3weeks now..no major issues :) ..


still little tweaks and suggestions for u before releasin a new bug fix version of the ROM..

1. please fix the powerpoint certificate error issue ASAP.. its imp..
2. Since this is Diamond Style ROM , then it would be a good idea to have the diamond keyboard cooked into the ROM as well .. (u might use the gullum diamond keyboard or any other one as u please..works fine on my gene ) ..

Hi i tried to run the ROM you have build. It giveS error after 2%. The error is

I AM UNABLE TO UPDATE .. PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE CAUSE, I DOWNLOADED THE FILE 2 TIMES, UNZIP AND RUN --GOT SAME ERROR.

I've flashed this rom but everything went write but while restrating after compliting the flash my gene stuck up at first splash screen. can any one please tell me what is wrong
