View Full Version : Transferring phone contacts to car phonebook via BT
I have a new car that can download all the contacts from a paired phone but when I try, the car becomes "receptive" and expects me to kick it off from my phone which I have no idea how to do. I did some searching here but couldn't find an adequate answer so would appreciate the help.

I was having the same problem at begining when I try to import contacts to my car's gps, but I figured it out..
Go to: Start->Settings->Connections->Bluetooth
Click on "Mode" tab, Check mark "Bluetooth". Then checkmark "Make this device visible to other devices" so the car bluetooth can find your phone and start importing contacts.

Thanks but that's not it. When I set my car to download all it becomes receptive with the message that I should initiate on my phone using passkey 1234 but I don't know what I have to do on my phone to initiate.
