Hi everyone. I have searched through the forums and yes, I am a noob. :( I don't even flash roms with my 1 week old kaiser yet because i am still studying about them and find the process risky and hard..

anyway, I send texts on an average of aroudn 100 to 150 a day and i noticed that sometimes, text message I sent get received by the people I text really really late. Like there is a lag time of around 1 hour. This happens when there is no notification comes out on my screen after sending the message but, the message i sent is in the SENT ITEMS folder..

sometimes also, I receive texts late..

guys, please help me with this.. I am really scared and all. I hope someone from you people could help me.. please.. thanks..:confused::(

its not the phone, its the network, they have lags in their servers, thats why it happenes! if it is ATT and ur in south texas, that is happening to all of us for last 5days! even call drops.

It's a mixture of your network and maybe the network your sending to. Your provider may be performing upgrades or something. I used to work for nextel and they had big problems with the txt messaging provider they used working with other providers.

If your worried then back everything up or sync it to your computer and then hardreset your phone.

The Kaiser is very loud about letting you know if your message didn't get sent. So if it goes into your SMS Sent Items folder, it is, alas, out of your hands.

SMS is like email. Most of the time its instant. Yet sometimes it not, due to any number of things. Such as, usages spikes, peak usage time, server hiccup, server crash, or just plan server silliness.
