Phone Freezes when useing GPS!! ARG.

Hey guys. When I use my gps, if I don't get a fix in the first minute or two the phone freezes. It happens with every app (iguidance, gpstuner, whatever). Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Its really quite annoying.

I've got the stock Rom.

do you have A-GPS function enabled?

Had the same issue with iGO8.
Disabled "assisted GPS" (use Kaiser Tweak or Schaps adv. config.) and all is well.

Radio change did it for me.
1.65.24.36 has excellent GPS performance

Also can I upgrade the radio without re-flashing the whole rom?

1.65.24.36 has excellent GPS performanceWould you say it's on par with the GPS performance native to the WM 6.0 original Rom? Where did you get this radio from? The Kaiser ROM/Radio listing makes no mention of it as far as I can find. Are there any other issues with it such as the camera not working fully or sound issues? I wonder why HTC didn't include this radio with their official WM 6.1 upgrade instead of the current 1.65.17.56?

***Edit*** I found that Radio in the Ultimate Radio thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=393182) it's come from a different device. I guess the Kaiser ROM/Radio thread has yet to catch up.

Yes, It acts like a whole new ROM flash but in the end only the Radio has changed. If everything went right.
