Cannot upgrade to any WM6

Hi guys.

I have this iMate Kjam (Not mine). It was with a T Mobile Official ROM and has IPL/SPL at v2.26. I checked and there was no G4 sign anywhere. Someone had to remove the CID thing to this. I downloaded several WM6 ROMs but once the complete flashing and the device reboots, I'm still in the T-Mobile ROM. I down-flashed to the age-old Button Love WM5 base ROM and here is the ROM status:

IPL: 1.01
SPL: 2.26
GSM: 1.12.10
OS: 1.5.4.2

If I upgrade from this point with, let's say, TNT5.0, here is what happens:

IPL: 1.01
SPL: 2.26
GSM: 1.12.10
OS: 1.5.4.2

Same right? but all the graphics change when booting. There is the HTC logo when device is turned on and there is the TNT 5.0 "BOOM" title when OS is loading (with the IPL/SPL/GSM/Radio)

Can someone tell me what is going on? HardSPL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332320) clearly tells me that device is NOT G4

I was able to install the official T-Mobile ROM onto Button Love ROM. Here is the screen statistics:

IPL: 2.26
SPL: 2.26
GSM: 02.25.11
OS: 2.26.10.2

If I try to upgrade to WM6 now, nothing will happen as I've already tried. After the flash process, it will still be official TMobile...

What should I do now? If I compare the properties of this Wizard with my own, I'm pretty sure this should be a G4 device.

Flash Buttons ROM again and do a CID unlock. That's it! Have fun!

I have a G3, but I had to flash Button twice so that the IPL/SPL matched, then I unlocked and reflashed 2.26 stock (again be sure that IPL/SPL match numbers), then from there I joined rom flashers anonymous! :D

Trying the Button Love ROM the third time... the SPL just won't drop... whats going on?

Flash Buttons ROM again and do a CID unlock. That's it! Have fun!
The only avaliable HardSPL tool doesn't recognize the device as G4... so how do I forced CID unlock? I tried SoftSPL... but at that time, my IPL and SPL were different...

IF you have

IPL 2.26 or 1.xx
SPL 2.26 or 2.XX

You have a G3 device - forget do not use Hard SPL or Soft SPL, these are ONLY FOR G4 DEVICES

Since you have a G3 Device you have 2 options

If you have IPL 1.xx and SPL 2.xx . use WST (Wizard Service Tools) to unlock your CID device

Note that only with IPL 1.xx you are hable to unlock your CID with WST

If you have IPL 2.xx and SPL 2.xx, than you must downgrade both to IPL/SPL 1.xx with an official ROM

Before you do something, install WST in you PC, and check the real situation of your device

BTW,its a G3 phone you got there,forget anything about G4,you are only concern shud be regarding G3 device.

Ok, if you are on IPL 1.xx and SPL 2.xx, you can use WST-Wizard Service Tool 4.2.2 to CID unlock

Then you should load a carrier ROm T-Mobile to get IPL/SPL 2.xx

But allways read as mentioned in the previous post
