Backup Battery

Hi everybody.
Yesterday, while checking my new Batti instalation on Tom's Oops Black (great rom, of course SDHC works), I've noticed that my Backup Battery voltage is 0. My (stupid?) questions are:

1. does artemis really have a backup battery?
2. if so, can be a problem on the rom?
3. if it is an hardware problem, can I survive with main battery only?

that's what I wanted to read. Found no infos about (googled for at least half an hour: if you can't find any info in such time, probably you can't find the info via google)

Is that also the reason why when I leave it off for a few days. That is doent remember the time and date??
