[SOLVED] Delete orphan program icons?

Hi

How do you delete icons in the program list that have been orpahned?
I had Sktools Lite installed and later uninstalled and that left me with a "Registry Explorer" link that does not work. I re-installed Sktools ran a clean and uninstalled in hoping it would go away. That just left me with yet another "Registry Explorer (1)" link.

I tried finding them in the registry but couldn't - any advice?

maybe it's a quite short answer but this programme helped me with a lot of invalid shortcuts, invalid regkeys etc....just give it a try..:

Bit of a waste of time just to delete unused program icons.

use file explorer to browse to My Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
Delete the ones you don't want.

Seems a bit silly to install software just to remove software......!

Hhmzz...I don't agree with you....especially when it's not possible to delete it the old fashion way this software is good! and it doesn't do only that, you can optimize your PPC as well...I stick to it neway!
