Is there any way i can write a script (or does anyone have one) for my xda ii that will switch on bluetooth , then run tomtom, then switch off bluetooth when i have exited tomtom.
currently i have to manually enabled bluetooth (this saves battery when not in use)
then launch tomtom
I am running a wm5 rom

my tmobile vario automatically switches on bluetooth when i run tomtom, that has a wm6 rom on it

On C_Shekhar's newest rom (WM6.1 unfortunately for you), there is a script program called MortScript. From memory, there is an exact script for what you have requested in the "Development and Hacking" section of the General Discussion forum.

It should be in one of the two threads:
"Is there a MortSCript that will....."
or
"Mortscript accumulation"

I will look later and see if I can find the one you speak of. Hopefully Mortscript might also work on your WM5.

EDIT: Does this link look promising?
