I dont think so but before flashing the ROM replace network folder in ExtendedRom from ur old ROMs ExtendedRom (hope u not confused) and u will get the network settings.

It isn't really a problem. It was made on purpose. Build 19949 battles a lot keeping registry keys and it is when errors and battery drain come up.

Let's say that it is a car with big engine (19949) with acuate accessories (19209).

Hey Jaime it works like magic as I tried it and it is the easiest way to do :D instead of going into the prvisi... provissss provin... that thingy. Although this then reverts u to the old network settings instead of ur star clad network settings ;).

I've got an iPAQ rw6815 and i'm actually very fond of "touchy" interfaces. I love PointUI, for example.

So, can I use this rom with my pda?

If not, where can I find the ingredients :) I would at least try to put them into the boring (!) WM5 the ipaq has by default. (None of the wm6/6.1 roms out there on this site has worked reliably for me, yet)

wifi is working in my device. I use it to update weather and mail box. try performing a Hard Reset and if it doesn't work then try flashing again.

Run Self Diagnostics application and last thing to do is to take it to the service center.

Having a cleaner ROM doesn't mean that your device is going to be faster, more stable or less battery hungry.

Device performance depends in how ROM image is built. You can have a very clean ROM with poor performance and vice versa.

So, what you are asking me to do is a real waste of time since you won't notice any significant change in daily operation. The only thing that you would have is to know that you have more room in your ROM that can't be used.

If you don't like some applications that come built in the ROM just don't use them and load the ones you like. It is what you do in a cleaner ROM anyway.

I can upload "19588 touchy" if you feel that your battery doesn't last much time.
"19588 Touchy" is less battery hungry.

I was flashing your ROM, and after Updating ROM, it gave me an error message --- "Updating Extended ROM Failed" the old version i am having is PDAViet 19209.

So even tried flashing my device with roms like --- 19209,19588 but i am facing same error. Please help me as my ATOM EXEC is down for more than 18 hours now...

ahdeshpande, did the update of the third part that is Extended ROM stopped at 6%. If so then u have a problem in bootloader. In this case u have to follow the procedure as exactly as told by Jiggs (and u have to use eboot from Atom that is MN1 bootloader):
1. Copy eboot.nb0 (from Atom original O2 ROM) on miniSD in root directory.
4. Insert miniSD in Atom Exec, enter in bootloader (Camera+Soft Reset) and then wait for the process to complete. After completion ur Atom will automatically reboot.
6. Take out miniSD and again enter bootloader, attach with PC through USB. Then flash the original ROM Xda-atomexec-eng-20060614_r060428n_ex0028.exe. The update will stop at third step of updating Extended ROM, it is normal. Remove Atom from USB and then hard reset. Ur Atom will start normal with the procedure of fresh setup.
4. Now again attach with PC through USB and ur Atom will sync through Activesync.
5. Flash the original ROM Xda-atomexec-eng-20060614_r060428n_ex0028.exe. This step will completely install and ur Atom Exec will be running normal with WM5.
Now u can flash any ROM u like again, but please follow the steps exactly as described or u will not be able to correct this problem (no short cuts).
I have attached the Atom eboot MN1 file.

its your wifi, switch it on and off a few times, you may need to enter wifi utility and use the context menu. I get this sometimes also SR 2-3 times usually solves it too.

The easiest way that I use is to go to context menu that is connections/Wi-Fi Utility and press 'menu' and then press 'Turn on Wi_Fi' and then second time again press 'Turn on Wi_Fi'and poof WIFI off, no need for an SR .

I would to share the information that A2DP Wireless Stereo is not working with current ROM and JABRA BT8010 Headset.

Also I would like to recommend S2V to browse pictures instead of current photo album, is faster and more powerfull and also has the touchy interface, one advantage is that You could directly assign a picture to today, S2U2, delete, etc. Also is much faster to explore big storage cards.
Just my opinion :)

I made some changes to Dialer Skin (better looking) Those are included in 19588 ROM. If you want them in 19949 ROM version just replace old files in Windows directory with attached files.

A friend showed my PocketCM ImageViewer and is very impressive to operate as close as iphone it can get.... even though doesn have the s2u2 or today options.

Also a nice alternative to browse pictures...;)

Well I wrote in the previous post to use winimage software to edit the Extended ROM. This software is free and after installation once u double click the Extended ROM image it will open it up, there u will see a network folder delete it, now close the prog and open the Extended ROM I referred, copy the network folder and extract it. After extraction open the Touch Extended ROM and inject this folder into the Extended ROM....phew a long procedure :).
You can also search on Modifying Extended ROM in the search option :D or see here further information:

TJ, I more question / query, while i type sms, mms, note, document in word, os doesnt suggest words, as if word completion is not working.

Word completion is already enabled under Input options...

Try this. Choose Touchy Keyboard then unselect T9 (just make sure you are in abc mode) Once you've done that go back to default Keyboard and I hope you have word prediction again.
I am not sure if that would work because I use TouchPal instead of Diamond Keyboard. Touchpal doesn't bother default Keyboard word prediction.

You may have problems with your Extended ROM. Reflash again.

blue stripes??? I haven't ever seen that.
Could you post a picture of that?

Not at the moment, sorry. It's my son's Atom, and he took it with him out. But it's like 2 mm broad stripes that goes from right to left and gets thinner all the way. At around 2/3 of the way they dissappear. Do you understand what I mean? Maybe it's something with the color scheme?
