Will contacts duplicate if pim.vol is copied to device fresh from a flash then activesync is run?

I wonder if there is a way to move over those volumes that hold appointments and contacts from an old flash (over an hour ) onto the device after the flash.

D'oh.

Trying to find a way to be PC free for everything. Anyone have any ideas how to do everything without activesync? I can format, flash radio, rom, bootloader, but the only limit is getting my contacts and appts? Bueller?

This is perfect. Small and slim executable sits in my SD archive ready to go! I may stop doing Activesync for personal info cause of this. This can schedule which is really efficient for my needs. dotFred is a handy fellow.

Much better than the simplistic approach I was attempting. Thanks bmorrisj.
