View Full Version : AT&T Tilt running Dutty's Touchflo...is it fried?

Hi there. I've read through everything I can find, but to no avail so I'm posting here since you guys seem to be the wizards. ;)

I have an AT&T Tilt that I installed Dutty's Touchflo on about 4 months ago from the directions on this site. Everything was fine, I was happy, phone worked great.

However, night before last it literally just stopped working. First my laptop started saying it was an "unrecognized USB device," and then when I tried to reset the phone, it came up with the tri-color screen and the following info:

KAIS1*0 MFG
SPL-1.0.OliPof
CPLD-8

At the bottom it says, on a white background, "Serial" or "USB," depending on what mood the phone's in at the time. I have tried everything to fix this: download WM6, looking for the regular software from AT&T, everything. Where do I begin fixing this? I am horrified at the idea of having to buy a new phone, and I'm going crazy without this one. Help please?

it should state USB when it is plugged into the computer and Serial when it is not. Try flashing your stock rom and see if you can get that up and running. Then if you wish, flash dutty's again.

Hey thanks for the reply. However, I have no idea where to FIND the stock ROM, or what to do with it when I get it. I think I got Dutty's running purely by dumb luck and by sticking exactly to the directions given. ;)

Care to offer a few more details?

Okay I've found the OEM rom from this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335568), but it says I have to run SSPL-Kais.exe from my phone. But I'm still on the tri-color screen. And it's still saying OliPof for my ROM. I'm freaking out now because I can't seem to get files TO my phone. It doesn't show up in My Computer, obviously. It'll "install" ROMs, and tell me all is well, but it still shows Pof's ROM as running. Why?

And how do I get the SSPL-Kais.exe TO my phone, and once there, how the hell do I run it?
