I have the same question. The handset is locked to vodafone spain

The Treo 500v is not a HTC device.

doesn't really matter if it's HTC or not, this is a network issue.

call your service provider and tell them that you have to go out of country for a bit and you need to unlock your phone and they might just give you the code.

i saw someone unlock it in china ,just pay 10rmb...
