I know it's only an indication but the HK ROM has Opera build 1660 and according to a previous post this version has the 1522 build. This one could be older.

Looks like it... the HK 1.93 ROM also has a different version of Manila as well version MANILA=1_1_34575_0_1630_38

i flagged my diamond with this rom and instead of showing 192mb RAM in Device Info it only shows 128MB. however, in Memory settings it does say 192 in total.

For those who have used this UK ROM, can you please answer a quick question. When you click on Phone, What are the Left and Right Softkeys?

I used to have the Stock 137 ROM, which had the keys, Contacts & Menu (left/Right), I then upgraded to the HK 193 ROM, and in Phone I now have Video Call & Menu.

Video Call is useless to me, but apart from that the HK ROM is excellent. I guess I would only upgrade to the UK ROM if the Left Softkey was set to Contacts (or something more useful)

yes, its in english. the same as my installed rom when i got the device.

I prefer the Hong Kong Official WWE ROM - 1.93.831.1 WWE 52.29.25.12H_1.00.25.05 version, as it seems a little more responsive and faster over all than this UK version?

I'm struggling here. I can't get HardSPL 1.24 to work. Keeps getting stuck at 0%. I installed Olipro 1.30 originally but couldn't get the ROM to update so reverted back to the original 1.37 SPL that came on the phone (using modmydiamond.info as a guide).

Please can someone help me out and tell me what SPL they used to flash this ROM? Do I need signed or unsigned? I'm not sure as it is signed my HTC but not neccessarily by Olipro I guess.

I wonder if the dpad issue is anything to do with the HardSPL version i used? for this rom i used 1.34 but then reverted to 1.24 and loaded the HK version which is working fine! If the UK one is better then perhaps will try again - can anyone confirm if this is true?

I am currently experiencing a keyboard problem. When rotating the phone, it does not like to rotate if a keyboard (any type) is visible, and then even after hiding it and rotating the phone, when I try to view the keyboard again, all I get is an empty black area where the keyboard would be. It works like a keyboard but I cannot see any letters/numbers to press. Can anyone help? Would re-flashing the ROM help?

I have the same problem . The work around is to select another keyboard on that screen and then swap it back to the one you want. Not ideal I know but loving this ROM

I flashed this ROM and now have the following problem.

If I set the band to Auto or to WCDMA then I get good 3G/HSPDA coverage but cannot make or receive a call.

If I set the band to GSM then I receive good GSM coverage but no 3G/HSPDA.

For this reason I'll have to go back to my previous ROM.
