I cannot dump the rom from my uk vodafone diamond. I keep getting the 'maybe you device is application locked' message. I have tried to follow the wiki but cannot see how to change the registry entry.
This is driving me bat Sh@t as I want to keep the stock uk vodafone rom in case I need to return the diamond. But I want to flash it with another cooked rom.

Anyone else got a uk vf rom they have managed to dump or any ideas how to get past this message. I have spent hours reading this forum but nothing works.

Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Have you looked at his thread?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334680

Have you installed a registry editor on your diamond such as resco or phm?

If not, do so then look for; HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies
valuename '00001001' was set to dword:2, change it to dword:1

(HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE)
