Diffrence Between 1.37 & 1.93 ROMS ??

hi might be stupid question but i wanna know what is the diffrence between 1.37 xxx & 1.93 xxx Roms ? i have 1.37.456.2 roms comes with my device is 1.93 much better than that ? or can i able to install that on my device .. Thanks in Adv .

i found the 1.93.xxx to be unbelivably fast compared to the 1.37, their are afiew transitions missing when browsing though touchflow 3d but it runs so much better i doubt you'll mind.

plus 1.93 has a quad band radio included i would highly reccomend

(you should be able to install this on your device as is, to play on safe side i would probably get hard spl first just incase, i was flashing 1.93 and computer went into standby, Hard SPL saved my phone)

It seems to be related to WM6.1 version

Also in new version the touchflo 3D does not have the fly in and fly out animation when you switch between taps.

Probably that is why it became faster.

I feel the same too. At least HTC could make it a optional setting that people could make their choice.

I really mis the fly-in/fly-out to...I'm wondering why a 3D accelerated hardware device is not capable of doing such a 'easy'(?) thing like fly in, fly out without any lags....maybe it is just WM6, i don't know

First, its not a problem, it was disabled by HTC. Second the animation everyone is talking about is NOT in this video. Instead of the slider to move left and right, using your finger to motion, THAT animation is disabled.

Is this a typo or is there a 1.98 ROM out there? I can't see anyone else discussing 1.98..

I just flashed Dutty's latest ROM (was on 1.37) and the difference is amazing, sure one of the visual effects has been removed, but the overall speed inprovement in this ROM over 1.37 is huge.

It's the same as turning off the skin in win xp, the speeded some old systems up. So no real killer I think.
