Kaiser getting slugish

It seems to me that my Kaiser is getting a bit slugish, like when bringing up the dialer or taking photos. Do I need memmaid or something similar? Is there an easyer (and free!) way to tweak or check what's hogging the memory?

It seems slow after fresh boot up and I set the phone to close apps rather than hide them. Its running WM6 stock HTC ROM out of the box.

I would recommend you search the forums for a couple of programs which can help you identify your problem.

Advanced Config - This can tweak your kaiser and allow you to turn options off you may not use anyway.

Task Manager - This operates in the same way as a windows task manager, you can see what processes are running and what % of memory they are using.

Also, i would recommend Kaisertweak - which is similar to Advanced Config but i think it goes into a bit more detail, and that was developed by someone on this forum (credit to them, but i cant remember their name)
