I'm having a problem with my Sounds and Notifications on my phone. The default is for none of them to be checked. Is there a way to make the deafault to everything checked? I check everything and it works fine for about a day and then they all become unchecked again and I have to be constantaly re-checking them. It keeps resetting some how. Does anybody know why that keeps happening? I checked OEMizer and it's not one of the options on it. Just to change the type of tone it makes.
Thank you for your help and time.

You're using the newest public beta of Opera 9, aren't you?
From the Opera Mobile download page (http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/download/):
Opera Mobile 9.5 beta
* Windows Mobile 5/6 Pocket PC, version 9.51b1(Touchscreen-based devices only)
Known issues
* ActiveX is disabled — Flash plugins and embedded video streaming do not work.
* Custom IME’s (like HTC’s IME) will be buggy at best, not working at worst.
* Not multilingual build — Only English is supported. Problems with other languages (and input methods) are not unexpected.
* Installation on memory cards may cause problems.
* Text wraps in overview mode.
* Main testing has been done on English HTC devices (Touch Diamond, Touch Pro, Touch, Touch Dual, Touch Cruise, TyTN and Wizard) and Samsung i900.
* We have got reports from some users that this build will disable the phones sounds/notifications.

OMG! Yes, I am. How did you figure that out? OK, I just upgraded my ROM to 3.2.3, so I won't install Opera on it this time and see if that fixes the problem. I guess everytime I ran Opera my settings reset? Well, that sucks, I was starting to like it. Is there another Opera solution that isn't a Beta and so buggy and free? Thanks!!

Wow, I was having this issue too. But I have been too busy to figure it out. This helps out immensely.
Thanks!

Does anybody know if the latest build has the same problems? I guess if you install it on the phone memory instead of the memory card you have less problems. Right now the latest build is 1660.

YOU DA MAN!... jeez! i was so confused about why this was going on.. thanks for solving the mystery!!! i owe ya!!
i love opera over stupid ie... opera's smooth and silky and full of life savers, like username and password saving for webpages.. its a pain in the arse on a mobile device to have to re-enter that all the time in IE.. so opera's ability to handle this was a godsend!....and zooming page navigation is such a no brainer to me... who the heck is on the IE developer team?? they're really dropping the ball compared to the features of other browsers...
i really hope they get this bug fixed... and i really hope they get the flash plugins working.. the ability to stream pandora would be worth my hard earned cash!! free is great, but i'd pay for a browser that let me get my pandora... would make the workouts much more enjoyable....

i really hope they get this bug fixed...
the bug is fixed, but not widely publicized(the file even has the same name, but different date).....goto opera's site and download the beta again....be sure to uninstall the old beta first and soft-reset before installing the new one.
