I have no idea why users have decided to remove Opera. Anyway anybody has an idea how to get the TF3D browser link to Opera working again?

Just reinstall Opera from the CAB on Dutty's site, it restores the link to TF3D as part of the installation.

On another note, huge thanks to Dutty for his ROM and RacerX for his "how to" guide. I've been reading this forum since it began and last night I upgraded to the Hard SPL, flashed a new radio and flashed Dutty's ROM. It was all done in 45 minutes and the signs so far are really good. Thanks guys- donations on the way...

Im in São Paulo, and my operator is Claro. The connection settings using the ROM RUU_Diamond_HTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.93.831.1 is automatic since the HTC Connection Settings CAB has a new operator database, including all operators from Brasil. Thats is great, because I dont had to switch manually configs when using different SIM cards.

This ROM is the best Ive used, and thats why Im asking for this update!

Ive discovered that my phone is from Hong Kong, part number 99HEJ066-00, so I finally got it registered at Hong Kong HTC e-club. This ROM is the stock, downloaded from e-club as you can check in thread posts.

I was surprised when the Connection Settings tools poped up asking to update the settings for Claro. Ive tried LOTS os ROMs, but this is the only that had brazilian operators, maybe it will be the phones destinated to our market.

By the way, grats on your great ROM!

Im from Brasil and noticed that the operator config settings isnt present like in RUU_Diamond_HTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.93.831.1 ROM HTC Connection Setup CAB, since it appears to have a new operators database.

This new database should help switch SIM cards easily, without having to reconf everytime, or after a hard reset.

Can you extract the HTC_Connection_Setup.CAB and include in your ROM or make it available as a extra CAB?

ok if u run the sspl.bat, all u need to do in the same folder is to run diamondcustomruu.exe in the same hardspl follder please do not put my file in there

taken out GSensorCalibrator from full rom

Since I have no issues with rom and read through most I havent seen any major issues so far so decided not to mess with any twaeking to this build.

I must say its really fast and responsive much faster than v1.1:D

I tried WM6_PPC_HTC_Opera9_WWE.CAB from your addon cabs section. I installed flashplayer 7 which i had on the last time Opera loaed the BBC iPlayer and YouTube.

Probaly we could do this with the Diamond Project team v3 releases, but I'm going on my IT COURSE starting this week, this is why I mostly concentrate ON WWE rom as i use this everyday and its much easier for me, but could be a diamond project pipepline project

Thanks for the excellent work on the ROMS. I have always been a fan of you after hearing so much from my friend about your work with the Kaiser ROMS.

I flashed your 1.0 few days back and when I checked back today, you released 1.2 ! Anyway, I don't know whether it's because of a bad flash or something else, I noticed there is a significant lag when I flashed your 1.0. The menu display is so slow and the whole device lags. I also notice a serious memory leak. I started with a clean soft reset and my memory usage is 52-55%. After using it for half a day (calls, sms, gps, net surfing, etc) the memory using wen up to 75% ! And I did not install any background memory hogging apps. I never experienced this in your DiamondProjectV2 ROM though, where with the same usage patterns, it will stay around 65%-69% of memory usage.

Anyway, I am gonna try your 1.2 and see how it goes. By the way, I noticed that some of the font sizes are more high res and smaller compared to the stock ROM. Example, would be the Contacts. Is that something you tweaked in your ROMS or is it because of different version of the app you are using to cook ? Anyway, that's not an issue. It's just for my knowledge.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread I also had a dead GPS after flashing this rom. Brought it back to life with GPSTEST. I can confirm that I did not hard reset ex flash and no doubt this was the likely culprit. Had considered doing so and have it as one of the steps on my kaiser reflash checklist. However as it was my first diamond rom flash & it was not mentioned in the instructions I elected not to. From now revert to the reset after flash procedure. Thnx for the reminder.

A bug to report... not sure if it is just me... pls let me know if this is re-produceable

anyway, this is what i done, i copied back my ringtone files to /windows directory... then went into "sound & notifications"
on notification tab, event "phone: incoming call", the ring tone has only a 4 selections... however, for all other events, the ring tone drop down box shows all ringtone files i just copied into /windows directory... strange... only "phone: incoming call" event cannot see newly copied in files

GPS worked fine first try, only thing I did notice was the "long press end key" function didn't initially work. I had to change the action from the "quick list" to one of the selected actions and then back again.

I am unsure what hardSPL to use? I have installed Olinex 1.30 as I had no luck with the 1.24 just sat at 0% then said error.
The Olinex installed ok and I now see it when I hold vol down and reset.
But when I try and install the new radio .05 it gives me the 262 error?
I also tried to install the lite v1.2 with the same error???
Am I have a signed / unsigned issue? and if so how do I get it working?

Any help much appriciated :-)

Actually i meant the regional settings for ie, found in tools->internet options->languages button. That is probaly set to danish even though the program itself is english.

Works fine here, the bottom left button you mean right? Which you can set yourself in <settings, personal, buttons>.
I have comm manager assigned to it (long press) and it works fine
tested on full btw.

Hi Guys,
1st of all a big thanks to Dutty for another fine ROM. I used your TyTN II Roms also and had a stock Diamond for about 4 weeks until I caved in and flashed it :-) (Lite v1.2 with .05 radio)
With the old stock ROM there was a big issue with Bluetooth Stereo headsets and HTC music player on the touch3d interface. 1 out 3 times you disconnected you would lose all sound from the phone and have to soft reset.
Workaround by using Media Player and it was fine.

But with this new build I had my hopes on using the touch3d music player :-) Noticed this issue though.
When I disconnected my bluetooth stereo headset for about the 3rd time, I still have sound and everything but my hardware volume keys now do not do anything?
I can adjust the volume fine from the screen but the keys are totally dead???

Anyone else got a stereo headset to test this out?

Looks like my issues just got worse! Even after a soft reset I am still missing the use of my volume keys :confused:
They did work when I first installed the ROM and I am sure they stopped after I disconnected my bluetooth device.
I did however expect them to come back once I rebooted?

This has been de-activated as you need to re-assign ur own button now, as I taken out voice speed dial out of the rom, also i f assign comm manager to long send key users cannot change to others, just re-assign ur own botton, i will edit the first post

Those experiencing telephone numbers in brackets, change your regional settings. Start > Settings > Sytem tab, Regional Settings. English Australia is my favourite setting and it doesnt give any formatting for numbers and short date is dd-mmm-yy (as i like it)

strange... i just flashed this rom, configured my exchange settings in active sync, set "when item arrives" but wenn i close active sync it stays closed and is not active in the background or visible in task manager. when i send an email from a different account to my diamond, nothing happens...

Got the latest v1.2 ROM (Thanks Dutty :-) ) installed normal stuff nothing odd, and now I have lost all my hardware keys except the HOME and Power buttons, all the rest do Nothing! Cant answer / hangup long press or back (ok) buttons or Enter . or D PAd nothing works!.
Also the keyboard has gone funny, wont let me type anything? when I switch to the normal wm6 kb it spurts out some stuff but still does not work?

Its not advise to restore a backup from a different rom to another, Just flash new rom hard reset and install ur apps again, the back up is causing this issue for you

Thanks for the reply, but I didnt restore from a previous backup.
This morning I hard reset / flashed your new ROM 1.2 / hard reset again and then manually put on my software.
Noticed the hardware keys issues after connecting my bluetooth A2DP headset (old issue on stock ROM with sound going) but a soft reset and still had the issue?
So to prove a point I took a new backup and then did a hard reset.
The keys all worked fine once hard reset.
Then restored my backup (taken on the same ROM just 10 minutes before) and it also restored the missing hardware keys issue.
Also the keyboards would not write charactors?

My concern was that if I hard reset again and manually put my apps back whats to say its not going to freak out again as my issue was not caused by not hard reseting after I flashed the ROM or restoring an old backup etc.
I did it all by the book and its gone funny.

The only new things I installed that I did not use before were the voice commander and the Diamond Tweaks from your optional cabs section on your website? (only tweaked the data connection timeout to 30 secs).

Guess I have got no choice but to hard reset and load it all again then. Hope it does not return.

the cab should fix it as i use it and it work for me, i will upload the actual registry and us just use the registry application in utilities and import registry and power down device and it should work, I might rellease v1.3 but its not much changes so will wait until this weekend, just minor changes like this green highlight,

I love your Rom and am still using V1.1. I do like the fact that you mapped the Comm Manager to the long answer keypress. However, I have since decided to use SPB full screen keyboard and would like to map long keypress to activate it. I tried to do this via "Buttons" in Settings but it still comes out as Comm Manager. Is there any way to override this or to give the "Buttons" mapping back its fucntionality?

Works fine here, the bottom left button you mean right? Which you can set yourself in <settings, personal, buttons>.
I have comm manager assigned to it (long press) and it works fine
tested on full btw.

It is indeed originally linked with Comm Manager, but seems still impossible to link with any other application.

Thanks - As someone subsequently mentioned it does indeed fix the colour but in the phone app only, which makes sense given the key name. Bot a big deal. Must be another key requires a tweak.

Whats the "hand" button? Do you mean "Enter Button" in the center of the "Navigation Control"?

I want the screen on so
1) I can see call duration.
2) I can have single press hang up like any other phone in the world has.

Even the END call button is not backlit when the screen is off rendering it impossible to see at night. So multiple presses required to end a call :mad:

Fixed it! Must have been the mNotes, even though I stopped the services once I installed a taskmanager to look at the processes I noticed a process called tmail which I killed and it installed fine!
Finally I think my Diamond is now perfect! Thanks for the hint and thanks for the great ROM Dutty :-D

Looks like my issues just got worse! Even after a soft reset I am still missing the use of my volume keys :confused:
They did work when I first installed the ROM and I am sure they stopped after I disconnected my bluetooth device.
I did however expect them to come back once I rebooted?

Hi Dutty, thanks for a really quick rom...! had my T-Mob version for little over a week and flasshed it twice now.. v1.1 and v1.2,,, lol

Question i have is when checking my email I used to be able to "drag" the stylus down the screen to select more than one message, which I'd normally then select to delete (spam!!)

I'm sure this worked on v1.1 but doesnt on v1.2... Instead I think touchflo kicks in and i'm then scrolling up and down my list of emails instead of selecting....

Is anyone else getting this issue or is it user error on my part, and I've missed setting something up?

Fixed MMS with > Select messages
Default green hight light in Rom
Added GPS TEST
Added back Remote Desktop
Remove tab for call history from manilla make sense as call history is there already
Still looking for more stuff to make it better

If you guys prefer the current Full Rom with opera left out for individual opera build choices i will leave it the same as v1.2

Other fixes or I will look at other things in the mean time before deciding to upload V1.3:)

Dont leave Opera out of the FULL version please. PLEASE Leave it in. People can go light if they don't want it.
I have no need or use for voice command (in case you are seeking feedback to decide if to include it).

Minor but you might want to check this. In my [TF3D > Programs > All Programs] list Task Manager v3.0 is appearing twice. ie there are two consecutive isntances of RegEdit in the list. Not sure if this is unique to me or if you may have left two shortcuts floating around.

I don`t think it is important to upload v1.3 only for changing several software~
Now your rom is perfect for a ppc,fast and stable for any software even
TF3D, but I hope V1.3 will be better for a original mobile phone~~
(such as less delay when receive a call~~),maybe it not easy, but I don`t think it is impossible for you.

I've now got the same issue. Don't know if they worked before I added all my apps, but the volume keys don't do anything. Did you try the hard reset and backup?? Did it work?

Hi, no the backup and hard reset and restore did not work. After a hard reset the device was fine, but once restored the backup it had the same issue.

So I bit the bullet and hard reset again then put my apps on one at a time. Taking a backup after each bit of work in case it went again.
So far the issue has not returned :-)

The only app that I had never used before was voice commander and I have not reloaded this yet on my new build so this may or may not have been aything to do with it. Also I used Diamond Tweaks before and not sure if that caused it. Not touched it since on this build.

So far I am happy. :-)

When the site is backup, look under "addon cabs" the file at the very bottom is what you seek.

It's a custom opera made by dutty for this release, and when you press the globe it will launch the browser (opera). :)

Had the same issue, I was using the Oni Hard SPL and I think its a signed/unsigned issue.
I download the following hardspl and it then worked for me.

Hi and first I must thank you for a great ROM. Last rom I had was the one from Dutty&Tom (also good, but some issues....)

Anyway: In this rom you have made a change (in registry) so that when I receive sms the screen lights up. How can I change this?

I like it better when you just get the message "you got a message" and the screen is black, then I can light up the screen whenever it fits me.

You can download the version of Opera that Dutty has from his server and install that one (of course, when the server is back available). The installation restores the link in TF3D. Or PM me, and I can somehow get that cab to you.

The rom is working perfect for me, I can seee better memory management, good speed, I added voice speed dial so this will default back to long press send key also a few minor changes, trying to make the rom complete.

Thanks Dutty. Er...just one bug fix...it wasn't the fact that the button was mapped to the comm manager....it was the fact that we could not change/remap it it using "buttons" in the settings folder.

Hi nice work really speedy and stable also with touchflo 3D... but I noticed one little problem which was on bepes 0.97 ROM too... its about teeter ...ball in movement hasn't so good framerate as in stock ROMs or diamond project ROM but have much better vibration feedback when meet the wall...and I have no idea why is there any setting for this behavior...could you please look at it because teeter is amazing game and its only one trouble in your great ROM THX and keep good work

That was noob o me...thx for the obvious solution :)

As a feedback to the ROM...it works like a charm. I didn't expect it to speed up my TD but it sure did. When i cruise the touchFLO interface it loads incredibly fast (especially the home tab).

l.e.: How about the contacts button which used to appear when pressing phone? feel easier to access the contacts this way instead of using start-> contacts. is there any way i can put a "shortcut" on the today page in touchFLO interface or something similar?

I installed the lite version and for some reason I cannot install .net framwork. It started installing but kept saying unsucessful. I tried installing both 3.5 and 2.0 with no success at all.

Maybe I am downloading the wrong ones.

I have v1.2 installed which has Opera v1660 installed. Can I downgrade Opera to the previous version (is it 1550)? The current version of Opera cuts off the top part of websites with really long pages such as webmails with a long email chain.

New Rom v1.3 is up now, this should be most likely a Rom which I will keep for now until a major update comes out, Its fast stable not much bugs or any I have seen for myself yet, and most of all it does everything for me, :)
