You can fix the wake up on SMS by downloading schapps advanced diamond config so search for and install that... but yes its a WWE rom World Wide English same as UK roms. Delayed ring should be fixed to as I dont get that prob anymore.

hmm I have that option... try installing this cab in addition over the top of schapps to see if you get any extra options - and let me know...

It also adds a whole host of other options like using touch wheel to scroll etc etc

Sure is mate just flash/Hard SPL- I use olinex 1.40 unsigned - then download rom and run .exe like you said and wait - you will get a massive performance increase generally - like having a new phone.

Dutty recommends an unsigned JockyW HardSPL, which version is unsigned and that will work with this rom (1.3)

First of all, thanks a lot for this rom. Its so much better than my previous one (1.37 stock).

But I have one question. What happened to the task manager tray icon?
I cannot see it and therefore a lot of apps are staying active while I want to close them. Ofcourse I can use the task manager program for this, but the tray icon was much quicker.

Oh sorry I am in the process of flashing this 1.93 rom to my phone, my first flash so I haven't got to that stage yet. But on my stock ROM that's how you'd do it.

I personally don't use it anyways, it does slow the phone down quite a bit, but it is handy though, so I'd like to know also how I could turn it back on, just in case I fancy it again.

password/lock problem in this rom, same as other's i've tried, if I go to settings->lock and put a password or pin in and set it to lock after X the screen lock funiction does not work, e.g. long end call key, even if you bring up the menu and choose lock screen it just bounces ( tries to run/do something fails and your back at square one).

any chance of looking at this as I would like to protect my phone alittle if i loose it/leave it somewhere :)

I only managed to get Google maps before by pointing Explorer to the google maps site....for some reason, I could not download google maps via Opera. Is there some way you can get us the latest cab for this? I believe it just got updated today or yesterday. Or perhaps someone can tell me how to download this with Opera? I already tought that Im the only one that can see pure performance and smoothness of teeter game on some ROMs because nobody answer me ...but unfortunately I can confirm that Teeter isnt so smooth as on the Toms Diamond project ROM v3 and v3.2...but dont worry bepes ROM is the same in this case...its not the worst but I dont understand why sometimes there is little lag and ball isnt displayed so nice...

Im not sure this depends on phone skin most PPCs have this delay...but it isnt so bad...mine diamond turn on right during first tone and start ringing with second tone so Im most of time at work with phone on desk and mostly answer the call before it starts ringing...

I dont have this issue, its a winmo issue mostly but im happy with my phone calls doesnt miss any calls

first thing i do after flashing is set my ring to vibrate and ring and a custom ringtone:)

When go to >Programs>Taskmanager >Menu "No icons in Tray" set, no difference if enabled - disabled even after soft reset. still remains disabled and.
I re-installed Taskmanager Cab over old one, though get now an error@ startup " can not execute calnot"

This way the duplicates will not occur. Alternatively there may be a TaskMGR reg key that prevents the shortcut creation on launch?

Assuming that you have run RegEDIT at least once do the following. Anyway, on the 3 hours I used and tweaked a bit further the 1.3, 1 MAJOR improvement can be noticed: Battery life (96% after 3 hours of moderate use)
Don't know what did the trick, but if it is due to the combination of taskman 3 and HTC's tweaks, don't change too much in 1.4
Also, GPS 1st time lock was extremely fast. In fact, it is the best of the 4 builds untill now. :D

Teeter does not show lag and no noticable bugs can be found.
I would opt to include "call history" tab in TF3D (for lite 1.4) , or even to remove TF3D totally in Full 1.4 as the 0.6.6 is outdated and easier to follow up with CAB of apptodate is or will not be cooked in.

Not much changes just minor fixes, Some updated apps and the Full rom is uploading now. TF3D is included but it is the last version 0.6.7, I didnt included the touchflo call history tab, but this can be installed by cab,

Hang on no need to delete it. Sorry my mistake...

I just worked out what is going on with the duplicate icons for Regedit. The problem is at my end. One of the first things I do ex flashing is to go into Regedit and select Menu > Options > "Create Regedit shorcut" so that *.reg files are assocaited with Regedit and will auto import when tapped.
I overlooked the fact that this is what is forcing the duplicate shortcut to keep being created and nothing you have done. Sorry.

I'm not sure How I can help as I dont have all these issues, so far I dont have any using the full Rom. I can only recommed reflashing agian or even beeter flash an original rom with radio, then re-flash my rom , hard reset and see if all goes well, it probably could be a bad flash

Downloading from MS directly, or from Mobihand for example in the US, I get 1.5MB-sec on my 8Mbdown/2Mbup set-up.

Well, it is not in the ROM's itself - it is in Cyberon Voice Command which you can find on Dutty.net and in some other threads.
Install the Cab, look for SMS and MAIL wav (probably in Windows or in Program/Cyberon Voice Comand and copy those to a save place if you intend to de-install CVC.
PS, there is a thread somwhere where you have 1 file of 100's of "you got msg - mail etc" alarm - rings etc. use search ;) Have fun!

@dutty - the alternative server you provided is slower than the new cluster (average dropped to 9-10Kb-sec) but we're at 80% :):).

The 1.4 is not bad, but the menus and bluetooth are much slower in reaction than RUUDiamondHTCGER1.93.407.1.

Some cool features on 1.4, but would be cool to give us the ability to remove some of the programs on it.

why dont u use the option when plug in computer DISK DRIVE rather than ACTIVESYNC to transfer files:)

Youtube plays correct from IE with streaming media, as it also plays flawlesly onCoreplayer 1.2.5 with build in flv support.
The ROM 1.4 has a minor issue wit the incorporated stand-alone Youtube package.

Using v1.2 at present and will goto 1.5 later today when it comes out.
Had a quick feature request if its at all possible.

I use A2DP Stereo headset/handfree (Plantronics Voyager 855 - Great unit) my only bug bear is that when my touch is in my pocket and click on the headsets pause/play button it wakes up the phone. Which in turn due to the flush screen proceeds to press all over the screen and I end up texting someone at random or calling someone.
I am using the touchflow3d music player.

Does anyone know anyway to disable phone wake up when this happens?
Or any a way to enforce keylock when the screen is turned off? as I think this would also worksround the issue.

I love the flush screen and was used to my iphone in my pocket with no issues (as its capacity driven not pressure) but how many times have you had a phone call and your Diamond auto answered because the screen is squashed against your leg and pressed answer!

I installed the cabs and now in Advanced Config have lots of options for screen off during call / SMS wake up of screen etc.
Works fine on v1.2 and I assume would be ok still on 1.4 / 1.5 when it comes out.

Well, I must admit that I neither have the Youtube bug on 1.4Full having used the device all afternoon for testing and twekaing. (ok ...playing)
The only thing I did was putting File system (&f ilter) Cache in Adv config to "advised"values and all plays well , as on 1.3.

Edit: the enhanced connection set-up seems to have negative impact on Skype.

Wanna know who is running Skype with 1.4?
EDIT : Seems i got some issues with the 3G operator Proxy settings - assuming that Skype works well on 1.4 :-(

Everytime he releases a new version the rom gets better and better with new stuff. I love his roms and I am sure that 90% of the comunity loves them too. So if you dont like that he releases new rom everyday then do not use it. Because you cannot decide what other people will do.

He is just doing a big big favour by sharing his roms, otherwise you would have a 400 pound device with shit roms. He could have just used his roms for his self but no he is being generous by sharing them.

I think some people are expecting Dutty to use some common SDLC approaches, however you have to remember he is doing it for people for FREE, and it's just a hobby for him, he's got every right to release the ROM as often as he wants, it's your call to use it or not.

I however do agree, and have suggested (politely) this to Dutty a few pages back, I am sure he is well aware of this by now, so calm down a bit people. :)

many people are angry bacause of your post, but i do agree with you. A rom with many bugs cant be called as final and small bugfixes should be numbered as 1.4.1 and not 1.5 for 1 youtube update. It confuses people. Sorry if you hate me :)

I am still on 1.2 as I chose to stay on this as it works for me.
I saw 2 more releases with bug fixes and will upgrade to 1.5 when its out as this suites me.
I totaly respect Dutty for pushing updates to fix bugs and its your choice to update or not.
his services would not be needed if the device manufactures bothered to update there Roms for bugs more often

I've flashed 1.4 FULL (+HardReset) and didnt find any bug with Youtube client... Videos and Audio are perfect to me (connected via Wifi).

I will test the GPS (time to fix and lag) in a few hours.

As for the frequency of the ROM releases, anyone who is interested in the ROMs just read the changelog in the first post and decide if you want the "fixes" or not. That simple. Complaining to the chef (especially as a first-poster) just isn't acceptable.

On the left side of the speaker some people think is a LED light like older models of HTC phones. But No, this is something else which I think is a light sensor so it can detect light for the camera, but again i am not too sure about this.

Liking the rom, unfortunatly V1.4 won't connect via WPA2 AES whereas V1.2 did
I assume its something in the windows mobile version thats changed.

PS: This rom & radio .11 on Orange UK has given me the best battery life by far.

I somewhat agree but saying "Your work is becoming a joke" is uncalled for.

Dutty is trying his best and he is fixing bugs people discover within days. Which is more than can be said for the manufacturers / operators who have more resource.

Probably would have been better for some people if Dutty released V1 as Final and then started a new post for bug fixes and labelled V1.1+ as Betas.

I think it's his ROM and he shouldn be allowed to release it as and when he likes. If you don't want to 'waste' time flashing then wait a week or two until a proper final version is released.

Strictly speaking (as a full time test analyst), a cab fix is problably more appropriate. What you are suggesting there, having a 1.4.1 is just the same as releasing a 1.5 the only difference is the number. Alternatively you could release 1.4 and just set a "fish net" window to collect bugs then make a fix release.

But why be so strict? It's all a bit of fun... relax :D

First, you need to relax. Second, read my post again... i appreciate his work and I think he knows this already since i have been flashing my phone with his roms. Unfortunately he didn't organise his work very well, he is missing the most important thing here and thats "versioning" of his work. He can't just upload new rom every time he decides to change a little thing...well he can but then lots of people will get tired of it and move to another roms, right? I didn't want this to happen so I suggested laying off for a while and collecting bugs, fixing them and then changing sub version or something.

I suggest changing sub version (major.minor.SUBVERSION) for bug fixes and adding/removing apps and changing minor version on OS build update and major version on something really big :D

As this other guy mentioned up there, i spent more time flashing my phone than making calls lol

Another question, in youre download area there was an other version of the touchflo .33 or .34. Are they availble? The new one on the official 1.93WWE [.38] seems to be changed if i am correct?

So far it looks pretty good. I still have issues which I reported on early rom with Programs shortcuts. When I try to add new programs in the normal way, everything works fine until i get to the end of the p's at that point the my diamond locks up and I have to hard rest. I have a lot of extra aps installed and it is hanging up in the webis stuff (not sure if that is the issue or not). Otherwise, everything seems to be stable and working great. Thanks for all your hard work. I am having trouble keeping up with your versions though. You are a rom cooking animal!

Thank you for your ROM ver 1.4 Feedback: after install all highlight is still grey in color. Apply the today theme to default and back to htc black does indeed change highlight color in all application to default green except in the touchflo3d itself. It still stuck with grey. Trying out reg key, but dont know which one to change..Any help appreciated. TQ

The same here. Problems with GPS fix all the time. Flashed Bepes rom and GPS works much better now. Still not perfect..

using a beta of dutty's v1.2 atm with radio .11 think, had the following issues:

always:
- when i have a missed call the call history link on the home screen went missing
- when having multiple notifications (alarm, new message, whatever) the notifications mess up. couldnt switch of my alarm once :P
- "you have message". although i like the idea, everyone who hears this from my phone is telling me the grammar is wrong. kinda annoying :P
- data connection switching to on, while i have no idea if i need it (what is this exactly?)
- activesync always running, even when i'm not able to sync because i'm not connected

often:
- device failing to respond completely, soft reset fixed this
- buttons staying green after i pressed them or something (think i saw a fix for this somewhere, so this probably isnt an issue anymore)
- alarm showing 'off' while it was set
- problems with wifi not getting used (after i switched of 3g?)

rare:
- device crashing, with the entire screen garbled, soft reset fixed this

one time i guess:
- switched from dutch to english rom, directory names changed so my old pictures arent in my Photo's and Video's section

No idea which are related exactly to dutty's rom and which are the result of my radio version and which are 'usual' WM bugs, will try 1.4 soon but thought someone might like the feedback.
And even though it might seem like alot of (possible unrelated) complaints, I like duttys rom :)

My experience tells me that 1.00.25.05 is the best radio version to date. There must be a good reason that this version is included in the Swedish official ROM that got released earlier today.

I`m using it with duttys 1.4 release without any issues

am i the only one that has this. with the original 1.37 HTC device information showed 192 meg ram. Now with the 1.93 duttys device information show only 128. Can any one please explain where did the ram disapear.
