XDA ORBIT not able to flash ;(

Hy..
belive me.. i tried nearly everything... and ive been through all of these posts... but i dint find anything helping me out with my problem...

ok, i try to explain in a short way! :)
I want to upgrade my "old" xda orbit (rom: 3.4.207.2GER, Rom Date: 18.04.07) wit a new rom ( something like "Artemis_Touch_4.02_Full_with_4_sided_cube")
BUT IT DOES NOT WORK!
Yesterday i updated my "new" DIAMOND to a new rom (Bepe 0.94)... so i basicaly know what to do.. ;)
But my ORBIT doesnt like to be upgraded.. :(
USPL: doesnt work
RUU: doesnt work
Artemis_Touch_4.02_Full_with_4_sided_cube: doesnt work
downgrade to wm5: doesnt work (dindt find the correct one, i guess...)

now i am out of any more idears... ive got a lot of error messages... such as 260, 270 corrupt files, and many more...

wonder why my orbit is still running after all these unfinished and unsucessfull "updates" :) but still running with original german O2 WM6 system.

Does anybody can give me a hind what do do, how to update or where to look?

Using Artemis USPL: in the DOS window always the message "program cannot be found".. running aprox up to 50% and stops, than closing the DOS windo
the orbit stays, after a short action showing the Linux guy, with a "white/black" display..
than using the RUU: still connected via usb to my pc.. still black display..green LED on top of the device on..checking the rom.. showing mine correct (3.4.207.2) to 9.99
clicking "next": starting updating... pda display gets threecolored.. than gray.. showing 99% and than 100% after just a few seconds..
Prog stops.. telling me that the file is corrupt (Error 270).. my device reboots and starts with the O2rom
I downloaded the Artemis USPL several times from several locations.. always the same message...

Hard to explain.. but i hope you got my point?!
Btw.. thats just one of the ways i tried.. and just one of my errormessages..

Did you tried to remove your SD card before you flash?

Thanks "Zecanilis" for your answer.. but that was not my problem.... i took out the sd card as well as the sim card.. as i said.. i tried nearly everything!

But this morning ( i spent the whole night in front of my computer ) i foud the mistake.... an easy one!!

The "Artemis_USPL" file, you can find in all of these threads, is not working with my devices (pc and/or ppc)!?! i dont know why.. but it doesnt.
As i told you i always got messages in the DOS window "program cannot be found", "program cannot be used"... and the intallation skipped all files and stopped always around 50%.

but at 3 in the morning i found a USPL file in the net, with a different name, and it worked with the first try!!
The File is named "arte_uspl".

Just worked fine and smooth :) 10..20..30....... finisehd.

I am able now to install any rom I like!
Btw... i swithed to Mossis V2.2Ger - a very nice one i think.
But maybe i'll try some more...... because i am able to! ;)

i am searching for a solution of my problem:

i updated my orbit with the new mossis ROM and everything was well, and i used my orbit after this update!

Yesterday i Reset my device and after this the orbit dosen't start again!
After showing the bootsplash the device hangs
So i try to flash the device again:

first i try this:
- start the bootloader manually (voice button + reset)
==> shows: IPL 3.04.0001
SPL 1.11.0000

- starting the ROM Update Utillity
==> the screen of my orbit is grey and shows the update bar (0%)
==> RUU shows the following mesage: ERROR[300]: INVALID UPDATE TOOL

(i used the original german o2 update file)

second try:

update with the SD-card:

- SD-card (512MB) formated with FAT32
- copy the image file xxxx.nbh to the SD-card and rename it to ARTEIMG.nbh

- start the bootloader manually (voice button + reset)
==> screen: Checking SD contens
==> Update SD Image?

- bushing the volume down button

==> screen is red green blue and shows IPL 3.04.0001 and SPL 1.11.0000
Update flash do not start!!!

if i try this sd-card based update with the RUU_uspl_signed.nbh file, the device bootloader start and update the ROM

have anyone an idea???

Dear ohs,

There are many ppl, who have this Error 300 issue, but there is no help/solution available anywhere. Maybe the best option is to send your device to HTC, I guess they'll replace your motherboard, if in warranty you'll be lucky!!! unless they find out if you have messed up the device

same problem here,i tried eveything,my xda orbit wont flash it starts to instal the new rom but when it reaches 3% it resets himself ...any sugestion guys ? i tried upls,hard-spl etc arthemis rom everything . help please

Guys, I would suggest, if your device is under warranty, do send it to HTC Service center rather than breaking your head with it. Even I have been through such problems but ultimately I sent it to the service center and expecting my device in a couple of days with a motherboard changed.
If your warranty is not valid anymore then you are in trouble.

dose anyone knows the right stepts to flash this Xda Orbit German rom with a wwe rom ? please post it so we can try,i have this xda for 1 year now and iam still using the german rom on it,i what to start to use it but what can i do ? learn german ? :) somebody help ! i tried to flash it with RUU_Artemis_O2_UK_3.4.206.2_4.1.13.50_03.06.90_Shi p all gose well untill 3 % from update the xda resets and gose back to his rom,please help me out ! i`ll mae a donation for this cause !
