Here is my first released cooked rom... M-Diamond 1.0|dyn pp

The Base is the officiell German-HTC-Rom with CE OS 5.2.19212 (Build 19212)
This is only the OS, but it's recomanded that you use 1.65.xx.xx radio´s with this rom. I use the original 1.65.16.25 radio version.

you need to flash LINK>>> HARDSPL <<<LINK (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396922) first!!!....then you can flashing these rom.

After the first boot the device instaling the Diamond HTC black bars, then the device boot again, and you can work with it.

Hab das Rom gestern Nacht noch auf mein Tytn2 gehauen und soweit ist alles ok bisher. Was mir fehlt ist der MSN Messi.. aber da schau ich mich mal nach nem alternativprogramm um.. also nicht sooo schlimm.

I have done several hard- and soft resets. I even installed hard-SPL once more. Nothing changes, it stays with the kaiser user interface.

Ich hab das IMG eben geflasht, lief super, kurzes Auto Install nach dem ersten booten. Kontakte etc. mit PIM Backup wieder einspilene funzt auch ohne Probleme. Nun stellt sich mir aber eine andere Frage : Wie bekomme ich nun das VoIP (wegen internem Lautsprecher ist MS Software unbedingt erforderlich ?) zum laufen ?
Habe schon diese >>destr0_VOIP_WM61___SIP_Config_1.1.CAB<< installiert und auch das >>SipConfigTool_2_0_1.CAB<<. Die EInstellungen hab ich passend vorgenommen, ein WLAN hab ich auch, den Reboot (Soft & Hard) habe ich auch nicht vergessen.
Nur auf dem "Heute"-Screen zeigt er weiterhin "Kein Empfang".

Ich bitte um Lösungsansätze oder Vorschläge, Danke

@kolchose & @variosteph : meine Cam geht bisher ohne Probleme, werde beim nächsten Reboot mal die Radioversion notieren und dann posten, iss aber schon recht neu.

Yes & yes... the driver are from htcclassaction! I have edit my first post.

I have called Diamond driver, because any files have under versiondetails the name "Diamond"
...and i think that these (base-)files are from Diamond device.

The "Green Files" LOL are created by me, i try in 1-2 moth createa few cab´s with this style, but at the moment i have no time for this....

Ich hab das ROM gestern mal (nachdem ich über Dutty´s, Hyper Dragon und Schaps dann endlich bei L26´s genialen ROM´s gelandet bin) geflasht und muß sagen, dass hat sich doch endlich mal gelohnt. Trifft optisch und auch von den Features am ehesten meinen Geschmack....ich bin gar ned sicher, ob ich die 1.1 überhaupt flashen soll :)

i think i have the same problem, i get an error while trying to install HTC-Kaiser-D3D-Drivers_29_07_08.cab.
By the way _setup.xml is a bit strange: <parm name="AppName" value="Martie?s ROM Addons HTC Homeplug 1.14" />
HTC-CA-Kaiser-Drivers.cab from htcclassaction.org works.

I packed it on my Tytn II last night and I have to say, that I am impressed. This ROM really is great.

I wonder what the best radio ROM is. I currently have 1.65.14.06.

Another thing about BatteryStatus. I had this installed a while ago. It is a great tool, without a doubt. Perhaps among the greatest. But could it be, that it hast some kind of battery drain effect? Like I said, I had this installed before and it seemed to be the same issues. Perhaps it is the combination of radio and batterystatus.

Does anyone have a idea on this?

I tested the App on my rom and it works, because only the mscoree.dll was from net 2.0...

i copy the 3.5 mscoree.dll into the rom (Softreset) and the app don´t work...

Well you are right, have you got a solution for that problem this time?

whats about when you rename the mscoree.dll to mscoree1.dll with the right registry entry?

I make Benchmark-test´s with Spb Benchmark and i get a good middle rusult, in comparison with the other english ROM´s here...

I´m testing now the HTC Equalizer - > out of order ;( ...try find a solution, maybe with the app HTC Audio Booster

with memmaid you can set sd transfer rate to 256kb
but i get problems with my 4gb sandisk sdhc when i change power management or transfer rate (can´t browse through folders on sd card, took ages to load, can´t copy files through active sync to sd card, can´t copy files from card through active sync on my comp.) maybe it´s my card, same problem with different roms, but after a new flash or hardreset the sd is fast and i can do everything)

i don´t know other ways to speed up roms but maybe playing around with the Pagepool can give a little speed? what´s the pp of v1.1? dynamic?

yes all versions have dynamic PP.... you can change it with a Pagepoolchanger befor you flash....

I test v.1.2 at the moment and i have good/fast results from Sbp Benchmark (will add a screenshot to release on first page) ....

sorry for the lame question, but I think I am getting totally crazy. I have installed M-Diamond Version 1.1 and it's really really lovely, but isn't it supposed to have that fancy touch flo stuff ? I have now touched the screen for hours, moved a finger from bottom to top on the screen, from left to right etc., but nothing happens :confused:
I also tried to enable the "touch cube" in advanced options, but still nothing ever happened. To be honest, I did not see the cube or anything from touch flo ever (only on the screenshots and youtube).

This nice contacts menu, the lovely music player from the M-Diamond screenshots, I never saw them. I had Touce Commander installed once and it worked quite good, but please tell me how to get the touch flo in this rom (or any other) to work.

I think there was some explanation on how to move the finger once, but since I tried ever possible method for over two hours now, I think something else must be wrong.

Please, any idea someone ?

I've a problem with the newest M-Diamond 1.2 version. Evertime I start the KaiserCustomRUU.exe it quits after 1 second again without even showing the wizard. Is the nbh-file corrupt or something?

1. I don´t understand this ... i have no BT icon anywhere...maybe you have activate Tray Icons from Batterystatus, but it is on the right bottom???:confused:

2. Go:
start->Einstellungen->System Tab->Erweiterte Einstellungen->Menü (right Softbutton)-> choose Comm Manager Settings->Microsoft DirectPush
Note: you can activate max. 6 options, for PushMail you musst first deactivate anything

For those who are looking for a non videocall phone skin, I extracted the files from the original HTC WM6.1 \Windows folder. Just copy the files to your folder, use i.e. Kaiser Tweaks to change to 'non-video' dialer, soft-reset your device. Enjoy.

i´m runing your Vers. 1.2 on my system and i think it´s fine and stable.
Only problem ist the bug that "Fast sleep during call in "Erweiterte Einstellungen" Advaced Config XML" is not working. Now i saw, that you have fixed that issue with Vers. 1.3. But for me Vers. 1.2 ist o.k. so i don´t want to upgrade to Vers. 1.3. Is there a way to bugfix the "Fast sleep during call" issu in Vers. 1.2? Do i have to change something in the *.xml file?

Another question - ist there a reason why you have deletet BatteryStatus with green skin in Vers. 1.3?

I upload a cab for this fix in the afternoon.(needed for v1.0-v1.2)

You can BatteryStatus install from SD-card over UC now... add the cab in afternoon, too.

A few people have a problem with security-setting of batterystatus. (BS go off after a few soft-resets)


My target is to create a light rom, where every user can auto-install his fav. apps from SD-Card after every hard-reset.

I add the decide versions as cab. The one need 3.5 (TrackMe) the other one (you :) ) need 3.0 for other apps

Then you can choose the right version for your apps

For this use the UC (User customization ) you create a "SDConfig.txt" and moved in root-folder from SD-card and then after a hard-reset the listed apps will be installed

Example for the new Batterystatus-cab

i have make many test´s with SqlCE Mobile 3.0/3.5

The result is that only one version run at the same time, in addition it musst be cooked.

I made a rom without SqlCE Mobile, i have install sqlCE Mobile 3.0 and 3.5, but nothing work.

Have anyone a solution for this?


In future i cooked the newest version 3.5 into the rom.

On a special wish i cooked a rom with sqlCe Mobile 3.0, too

The "Erweiterte Einstellungen/Key Mapping" write it to the registry, thats right!

but i don´t know what is written there at the moment
i think it is a link to DataDisconection/CommManager with additional commands

For example:
The command for direkt-link to "write new SMS" is
20#"\windows\tmail.exe" -service "SMS" -to ""


or you create a shortcut to windows folder with fallow names and right commands insert:

Long_PTT.lnk (push to talk button+long press)
Long_End.lnk (the read key+long press)
Long_Send.lnk (the green key+long press)
Short_PTT.lnk (push to talk button)
Long_Power.lnk (Power button +long press)
Short_Power.lnl (Power button)

I am still using M-Diamond 1.0 ... yeah laugh at me, I was a bit lazy lately.

Anyway (don't know if this has been asked before, search didn't give me proper results), what I want to know is, if someone of you guys made a backup before updating the ROM and successfully imported the backup afterwards. I mean, I will do an update soon, but just want to know if this works. Else I will take some time and reading me into UC for easy integration of my cabs.

I know that this backup thing doesn't work most of the time when switching between different ROMs like M-Diamond to NoThrills or something like that. But what about a "update"?

I hate green - is it changeable? The chrome look of the keyboard looks good - but I prefer the clean style (like the calc - that looks great).
I asked kareem9nba under http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410975 if it is possible for him - not that he should do it, only if it is possilbe - I wanted to ask you first if you would or want to change anythink - I am sure that it would make a bunch of work.
I tried to change it a bit myself, but I only ended up with white spaces everywhere and had to flash the phone again to get it back how it was (well, didn't write this in german, but who cares)
Oh - and why I only have two posts - well, I know how to use the search funktion - as you can see - I am here since 2006 - not long - but not yesterday either.

I can say it is a lot of work to change the color, and i like my developed green style... but you can change/overwrite the (green) picture to original or create your own pictures

questions regarding htc action screen:

1) when i use the action screen to write a new email, the device always starts a new email using the pre-installed outlook account. however, i use a newly created account to send and receive mails (gmx.de). is there any way, so that htc action screen uses the gmx account instead? maybe i can set gmx as standard account? i cannot delet the outlook account since it is used if you sync with your computers outlook

2) is there any way to change the shortcuts in the action screen program? i use IPSMS to send sms via internet. so when i select new sms, i would like to IPSMS to start and not the default new sms screen. can i change that? or delete new tast option and insert something new?

just installed the 1.4 full and have a small bug - On the Dial pad - first line where the numbers appear that you typ in - if that is blank, the batterie status shows up there.
I updated to radio 1.7...
Can't say if that is only with this radio or not (perhaps it isn't there on 1.65 - haven't tested that yet)

Leute ich bin hier neu,habe deutsches rom 1.2 runtergeladen und Tytn 2 versucht zu flaschen aber es klappt nicht.Auf dem Tytn habe English Winmobile 6.1 ,kann es daran liegen.
1.4 oder 1.3 kann nicht laden weil es ueber Rapidshare geht und das ist mir nicht erlaubt (pc an der arbeitstelle).
Hilfe was soll ich tun,ich brauche so Deutsche oberflaeche zumindenst.
Habe es geschafft clean 1.4 version,bin fast wie ein Kind fröhlich,allerdings mußte alles neu installieren konnte nicht alles wiederherstellen und Office fehlt mir aber es hat sich gelohnt.

You mean the Battery-Icon ( when you write BatteryStatus i think you mean tha app "BatteryStatus")

I activate this icon... it is not a bug ;) and you can deactivate this icon in fallow steps:

Start -> Einstellungen -> Register "System" -> Erweiterte Einstellungen -> klick on "+" from "Phone" register -> search the Line "Show Battery icon: yes" -> and change it to "NO" -> then left softbutton "Done" -> you don´t need a Softreset.

the icon is now invisible

Kannst du vllt das Keypad so ändern das man dort auch kontakte auswählen kann? Weil bis jetzt sieht man nur die ähnliche nummer kann sie jedoch nicht anklicken. Manchmal gibts auchn kleinen Bug wenn man das Gerät in den schlafmodus versetzen will kehrt er automatisch zurück und schaltet sich auch net von alleine in den ruhe zustand . Nur ein neustart bewirkt abhilfe. Ich habe aber bis jetzt keine Ahnung wie ich diesen Fehler genau hervorrufe..

I have Bluetooth default disabled to save Battery...

1: Enabled Obex in shaps advanced config (Erweiterte Einstellungen)
2: Enable beam (Datenübertragung) you don´t need the Comm-Manager
Start->Einstellungen->Register->Verbindungen->Datenüber...-> activate this
The steps from "Variosteph" are ok, too (thx for support steph)
3: activate Bluetooth and make it visible for other devices
4: Softreset
5: check the settings again
6: Make a partnership with other Device

Note: Any devices (for example my Charmer with WM6.0, i don´t know why....) need activate Bluetoth-Explorer + Gemeinsame Dateiverwendung for partnership

to Smart-Dialing Question:
when you search a Contact, for example "Schmidt" tip on "7" for "S" or typing "7246438" for "Schmidt"

you can up and down with fingers or 4-way button

you see the Contact in the green area tip on it and hold -> this open a popup where you can select the call-number (Handy, Home, Büro etc...)

to show name and number go to "Menü" (right softbutton in Dialpad)->"Smartdialing-Optionen"->activate "Ausgewählten Kontakt automatisch erweitern"

I hope that is what you mean...

I have make a little fix for keyboard delay for testing!!! (can use on all M-Diamond-Versions or other ROM´s, too)

I hope that fix the missing letter by typing a text, please test it and give me feedback.

I haven't tried this ROM yet, but I took the time to make a chart showing all the functions of the different flavors. It helped me decide, hope it serves you too =)

its a PDF file... btw, why is there a 19.5 KB file size limit for PFDs? thats not nearly enough for anything :S

i cant disable the Sip-Panel on Today-Screen on any Version from 1.4.
Look for screenshot to what i mean. Sometimes
it looks like Pic1 and sometimes as Pic2. :(

hab nun seit paar Tagen die 1.4 drauf und alles lief super bis heute, sogar der keyboard delay-fix... aber seite heute bekomm ich wieder ständige freeze :( ich kann keine sms mehr richtig schreiben oder auch sonst alles laggt total... kA warum, hab seit gestern abend nix am gerät gemacht...

comming back to the bluetooth issues I mentioned before. There must be something wrong. I also have problems with pairing my BT Car Kit with Kaiser, after 3 trys it worked, but then it lost connection during a call.

also ich benutze das 1.65.16.25, hab keine probleme. wohne ca 90 km von dir entfernt, hab beste netzabdeckung mit t-mobile.

in münchen war früher d2 immer ganz schlecht, weiss nicht wie das mit der e-plus netzabdeckung in münchen ist.

Martie, how about updating flashlight 2.1 to 3.1. I just found the youtube for opera thread, saying it doesnt work if 2.1 is cooked it. I know i could use the standard rom but then id have to find all the other stuff and install that as addon :/. Just an idea for a new version.

Ich habe Htc Home deaktiviert nimmt zu viel platz und ist nicht etwas besonders.
Igo habe ich auch vom desktop entfernt und habe dafuer in start meny gestellt.
Dazu habe ich Spb mobilshell installiert,ist gute sache,viel besser von Home in kombination mi Battery status und C launch (freeware) habe alles auf dem desktop.

Welche Version von IGO hast du auf deinem Gerät? Ich hatte eine Version von igo8, welche auf meinem Kaiser nach dem Update auf WM 6.1 nicht mehr lief. Ist aber ein Bug von IGO und nicht vom ROM.

ich hab iGo 8 mit allen Karten und so^^
ich muss htc home deaktivieren, dann soft reset und dann kann ich igo starten...
ist immer bisschen blöd, weil das "hochfahren" für mich zu lange dauert.
kann auch sein, weil meine 8gb sd karte fast immer voll ist.
naja
igo funktioniert aber einwandfrei und die ROM auch

How/where can i change the system font size? The Menufonts are SO huge. :(

It has nothing to do with "Settings - Screen - Textsize", this is the same (default) on all my devices.

EDIT: Solution found: nueFont (http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/page/nueFont.aspx)

Just install, start, set the size to 900, 800,800,-12 then reset and everything is fine.

hab das (full)rom nun eine woche getestet und naja bin etwas zwiegespalten. auf der einen seite sicherlich schneller und schicker als das htc 6.1 o-rom auf der anderen seite, wurd es mit der zeit irgendwie ziemlich langsam. kennt jemand die problematik der anrufannahme? hatte dieses problem min 3x mal. Ein Anruf kam rein, konnte jedoch das Gespräch nicht annehmen, weder über das Tochscreen noch über die Hardwaretaste. Softreset dann ging es wieder.. :/
Bin jetzt aufs opal umgestiegen für eine Woche.. mal sehen :)

Im not verry sure but since i have turned of the email polling (check incomming eMails every 15 minutes) i did not have this problem anymore. Im also using the gprs/edge mode only since i dont need umts all the time.

no problems so far with m-opal / m-diamond i would suggest cleaning your temp/junkfiles once a week with cleartemp and/or memmaid. i´m running eLiAs AutoHibernate and eLiAs HTCDlgKiller too, don´t know if this affects the slowing down efect. and have a look at programs running in background, the more memory used, the slower your devices. (for me ca. 50% memory free is normal)

got the same problem here and it starts to be anoying! when it happens i have to do a soft-reset to make calls again. Seems so that only the "calling-application" is freezing ... evrey thing else is still working fine.

i'm using radio 1.65.16.25

i'll try to clear the temp stuff ... maybe it might solve the problem.
i should also try to disable the email polling (15min dalay with smt/pop acc and one msn push-mail acc)

Hi there,

I have a htc kaiser with M-Diamond-Full-GER by Martie running.

Free storage for:
* data is 110 MB's (135 total)
* apps is 50 MB's (85 total)

Once I start my HTC Kaiser no other apps are running (no apps are in the task manager).

My question:
From time to time especially when I open the calendar my kaiser hangs for 2-5 seconds. Alltough I press a button or use the screen my kaiser isn't responding for some seconds.

Does anyone of you focus the same problem? Any settings I can change to any fixes I need?

i´m using m-opal german 1.0 with different radios and have still the same problem. i also have 50% memory free. my kaiser is only used for mp3 and telefone. all other, email etc. is turned off. i suspect the htc audio player i´m using.

sorry to write to you again. Maybe you can help me out.

I'm using your perfect ROM for my kaiser (Diamond Full).

I always used the build in contacts where on the right side the small scrollbar inclduing the letters was displayed. I was able to press e.g. on P and got all contacts starting with P.

Now I tried the app "FingerFriendlyContacts" and my kaiser sucked.

I removed the app from my kaiser and now the regular contact view is switched on. I miss the little green scrollbar on the right side showing the little letters.

How can switch this scrollbar on again?

We are from the same Bundesland.

I am from Schweinfurt and i will be using a Fonics Card in my Kaiser sice i be using it for my Laptop as a Modem as well.

So far the ROM Is fast and gut Signal through my SIM.

Is there any Way to add the Cube or TF3D to this ?

Hello i have installed the version 1.4 , everything works fine, but when i get a sms i dont hear something or my tytn doesnt vibrate. With Email and phone,... works perfect. only with SMS i have troubles.
Can someone help me?

Hallo Ich habe das 1.4er Rom Geflsht, bin echt begeister davon, aber bekomme unter den Kontakten die SIM Kontakte nicht verschwunden.
Habe s schon mit dem Advance Configuraion versucht, aber nach dem reboot, ist show Sim Contact wieder activiert. bei dem ROM 1.2 konnte ich die deaktivieren.

Und wie heisst die funtion, bei den Kontakten, das dort der Grüne Balken mit den Buchstaben schnellanwahl ist.
Habe da nämlich auch oft bei den kontakten, das der Balken manchmal weg ist, und Windows Like ist, manchmal ist der wieder einfach da.

Habe falls der Vorschlag kommen sollte,Das Gerät nochmal geflasht, und zweimal Hardresettet.

Und kein backup eingespielt, allles immer neu eingestellt.

Danke erstmal für das Super ROM, zur Info es laggt bei mir auch manchmal, so für 1 sekunde manchmal auch etwas länger.
